  1. I know how that feels. DE really needs to take a look at these Void drop tables. However, I have read several times here in the forums that DE is planning to remove the Void so that Void rewards become scattered across the Solar System, giving players the incentive to actually progress through the map. Of course we will still have access to the Void via some sort of key or portal

Tower 1 and 2 Void need to have the cores and resources while Tower 3 and Tower 4 need to have blueprints and parts. That would be better. Of course to make it balanced, it would be alright if certain things were mixed between the four Tower levels, however, not to an extreme like it is now where you can get Forma blueprints anywhere. Funny how people don't necessarily rage when they get a fully built Forma. At least you can use that right away.

  2. welcome

be careful, do not tint yourself as gold or blue (gold potato = orokin catalyst, blue potato = orokin reactor), unless you want to be hunted by other tenno, they appreciate a unique flavor that can only be eaten once, after all, this can double his augmentations forever

"Gold potato" is Orokin Reactor and "blue potato" is Orokin Catalyst.

  3. I have few.

Give us finally the possibility to put clan emblems on the hull of our Liset.

Give us something colourful for the interior of our Liset like a plant or aquarium. I hate noggles.

Give us Liset interior themes, like Syndicate themes for instance. Headhunter theme, with boss helmets hanging from the walls, piles of looted weapons in the corners etc.. Or maybe Tenno themed interiors, like "Shaman" Oberon, with plants in bottles hanging from the ceiling, wild kubrow pelts on the floor and walls. Necros theme, with piles of Grineer skulls, nano mist on the floor and some whispering/breathing 'ghost' sounds. Excal theme, with swords and other melee weapons hanging on the walls or on the stands, some long banners. Etc.

Liset interior themes would be great to have.

    +1

  4. I don't know how many times I've had to explain this... Everything from Dark Sector that's in Warframe, is an easter egg. In the exact manner that the Halo series is full of Marathon references. They're easter eggs from an un-related game.

If things from Dark Sector are being incorporated into Warframe every few months or so, causing everyone to question certain aspects of the lore, why would you still consider these things unrelated when they are clearly beginning to change the direction of the game? According to what EvilKam has said regarding Devstream 10, if the developers themselves have confirmed that Dark Sector and Warframe are related and in the same universe, then your statement is flawed.

I believe that in Devstream 10, it was confirmed that darkSector was a predecessor to Warframe's history, thus, not only are they related, they are the same universe.

  5. That makes a lot of sense. I can't remember where it's said, but Chroma's pelt is taken from some ancient creature and if it resembles the Chroma from Dark Sector, then it's entirely possible Chroma is named after both what his pelt was and his ability to change element. Therefore, if we say this is true, it kind of makes the idea of the Infestation being some kind of altered Technocyte a lot more realistic - before the Orokin got into using the Infested in a new strain designed as either a way to create Warframes or as a way to fight Sentients, there must have been Technocyte-ridden creatures around Earth which is where Chroma picked up his Chroma pelt.

I'm just rambling here and I don't know if what I said makes sense, but yeah.

We need to get a Simaris scan for the Infested.

  6. The nullifier bubble should shrink depending on how much damage it receives. For example, a 10,000 damage hit should instantly destroy the bubble, so that means slow ROF weapons like sniper rifles have a chance of destroying the bubbles just as quickly as high ROF weapons. The sticky nullifier grenade from the Bursa is actually a good concept which can be dealt with if you know what to do. The nullifier crewmen, however, need to be fixed.

  7. If you think of Hayden Tenno as a tenno like us, then you are wrong.

If the current Tenno are considered the valid Tenno, Hayden isn't Tenno.

If Hayden is a valid Tenno, we aren't valid Tenno. Why? Because of the way we got out powers. One was infected, and the other one was sent tobthe void.

What if Hayden was the accident, never meant to be. We are simply a second generation. The Infested, I believe Phorid and the older version of J3-Golem, said that we were their flesh, their "brothers and sisters." Also, the Infested apparently evolved because the Dark Sector version and the Warframe version look different from one another.

Perhaps, the Orokin uncovered the story regarding Hayden Tenno, and decided to use his accidental template as a way to win the war against the Sentients. Therefore, the children sent into the Void after some "scientific testing and experimentation with the use of the Technocyte virus" became what we call the Tenno. I think the name itself, "Tenno", was actually adopted.

So therefore, I do not consider Hayden Tenno to be the first Tenno like us. He was the weapon that was never meant to be yet he became the template for us, the Tenno.

What if we are merely clones? Think of it this way, in Star Wars, Jango Fett was the template for the clone army. What if, the Orokin used Hayden as the clone template, for the current Tenno? Based on the recent lore we received from Simaris regarding the Anti-MOA scans, the Orokin cloned themselves. I assume that upon discovery of Hayden when the Technocyte virus (Infested) failed to deal with the Sentients, the Orokin used Hayden + parts of the virus to create us with the usage of the Void to act as the catalyst.

    Edit: Fixed a few mistakes

  8. They have stated that they are "somehow" related, but the "how" is kind of unknown. The lore is too different for them to really coexist. What I like to think is that the story of "Dark Sector" is some sort of legend on the origin of the Tenno that is told in the universe of Warframe - a bit like the Iliad was a legend on the beginning of Greece and the Aeneid was one on the beginning of Rome: heavily changed and embellished and personalized stories that contain a grain of truth. But that's only what I think.

Last DEVstream confirmed that at some point we will see "more". We don't know if we'll ever see actual enemies from Dark Sector - although, with the arrival of the Sentients, it's not even that impossible.

Does anyone know how exactly the Tenno came to be? From what I understand, Hayden's "Warframe" abilities came from the Technocyte virus (and inadvertently), yet we, the Tenno, were normal children from the Orokin era who were sent to the Void to receive the same "Warframe" abilities, but on a different scale. The Warframe, I believe, which is apparently made from the Technocyte virus, allows us to efficiently and safely harness the powers of the Warframe itself without the excruciating pain Hayden had to go through.

I will continue adding to this.

  9. I have been thinking about some of the content here in Warframe and how some things are similar to what people can find in Dark Sector. Now, I know that both of these games are not supposed to be considered as one whole timeline, however, I couldn't help but think about certain noticeable connections.

For one, we received the Proto-Excalibur skin which is supposed to represent Hayden and the Proto-Glaive skin for the Glaive weapon. We also just received the Nemesis skin for Nyx which is supposed to represent the enemy Hayden has to fight in Dark Sector. Since I never played Dark Sector and have only recently learned about it, I started checking out the wiki for Dark Sector to read more about Nemesis and I came across a particular topic. A certain enemy called Chroma looks strikingly similar to the pelt the Warframe Chroma wears. Furthermore, upon completion of the first part of the quest that allows you to gain Chroma, the Lotus says that she cannot believe that Chroma is still in existence. I believe she might have been referring to the pelt itself or perhaps the powers surrounding the pelt and that she is surprised how an entity has been able to manipulate the power of the pelt. This might make sense if you use Dark Sector as background knowledge.

I know DE has stated that Dark Sector and Warframe are mostly unrelated yet I can't help but think that we will see content from Dark Sector be incorporated into Warframe one way or another.

I am probably late in noticing this and I am sure other people have already mentioned this, however, I couldn't find such discussions in the forums.

I was wondering if we are going to see more of these new skins and perhaps enemies from Dark Sector in Warframe.

  10. I always kinda figured that was where the Braton, Lex, and Burston came from... Weapons made by non-corpus or grineer gunsmiths. And the Tiberon specifies a "Master Gunsmith" that modifies weapons. I'd need a Citation on whether it specifies that this individual is Tenno or not... If not, I would like to see this individual fleshed out a bit more, possibly as a quest-giver NPC.

    You are alive!!!!

Don't tell me you don't remember me. We were in the same clan, Retribution of Scyrah with TheDemitroll. Remember?

  11. I was thinking about a new weapon category that we can have, and this one in particular doesn't have to be necessarily Grineer, Corpus, Tenno, or Infested based. Everybody knows about those so called civilians that we are constantly protecting and I was wondering if DE could start making a category of weapons designed by third-parties.

These weapons could be based on much older weapon designs (lore wise if applicable) which ordinary people use mixed in with certain more modern technologies. I am guessing various concepts for certain weapons might actually be used because I have seen some really nice designs in the codex for various weapons.

These weapons might also have completely different stats or utility, perhaps even function differently compared to the weapons we currently have. I am sure DE can work with this idea and find a place for it in Warframe.

It would also be nice to finally visit actual civilian settlements, but that is another topic.

  12. You can, but it'll take an entire magazine.  Understand that DPS = damage per bullet x fire rate.  Some weapon shoot on the slower side of things, but hit hard.  Other weapons, like the Grakata / Viper / Dex Furis, don't do a lot of damage per bullet, but shoot very fast.

So, yes, you can mod the grakata to decent DPS, but you are going to run out of ammo quickly.  Which is ok, if you are prepared for that.

Can you show me your Grakata mod-build?

  13. I am curious about the Grakata rifle and how it will scale in high level content. I am now mostly running around with a Vectis being able to one shot anything in high levels which are over level 50. I want to change things up again and use something that people would rarely consider using.

So, how is the Grakata at high level content and how many forma do I need to make this weapon powerful? I am thinking about going for a status/crit build.
