  1. Currently having trouble running phase 3 for these components due to getting disconnected to host, joining after reward was awarded, or just flat out game crashes. [Ya on ps4]

So wondering what's the fastest, least infuriating way to do this?

Isn't there away to reset Umbra back to default Excal like you can with Prime Frames ?

I genuinely think Limbo looks fancier than Limbo Prime so I reverted my Limbo prime skin back to vanilla limbo.

If there is I would like to know. I first played excal around the time sacrifice released on PC

Now I'm "forced" to wear a scarf

I was playing a dark sector survival before going for a nap and I dreamed about playing warframe.

Now all the details aren't going to be clear because that's how dreams are (at least to me the details are always very blurry).

I went to my ship and The Lotus told me a ghost corpus walker has been spotted. Then the infected started coming and I was told to destroy 4 different things. I don't remember exactly but these were probably some sort of life support for the infected. And so I did. I tried looking for these things and destroyed them. I realized the place isn't inside my ship anymore as it is much bigger (like an actual node). After completing the mission, I saw a drop. It said Ivac Neuroptics. Yes I actually remember seeing those letters and the neuroptics logo like when you actually get a neuroptics drop when killing a special enemy or completing a rotation.

So yeah just wanted to share a somewhat specific yet vague dream. I don't remember any other continuations regarding the ghost corpus walker and how the hell I ended up in a much larger map and not in my ship lol

Seems legit. Dreams tend to transform from one thing to another, but Ivac sounds too much like Ivara.

But hey maybe it could be the Male version! A damage type Ivara thqt has no stealth.

Idk just throwing ideas at this post.

Unlike another dream post I've read.

Dreams are supposed to be about 15 seconds long in real time. The dreams that dont conclude are the ones we remember. (Source: encyclopedia I read in the mid 90's)

  4. I liked armored core for answer

Those mocha were either tanky or fast depending on how you build them

And that game was fun as hell!

I could see an operator operating a mech like g-gundam style, but through transference

They have shields and armor like the corpus. Being a big target doesn't mean you cant shoot back and blow up anything in your way

in a hotfix they made the MR 24 test have a no amp restriction so you're stuck with the void laser.

to OP try to periodically hit the big orb even if you don't have much energy in your void beam as over time it "grows" back so you're basically back at square 0 if you wait too long without shooting at it.

Omfg that's right! That's why it was fun.

Ya gi to simaris. Took me a few tries just focus on shooting orbs and sliding

  6. I tried limbo and nova, but titania's 1 was by far the easiest. Just go east of the pond north of the gate of cetus to find 2 dargyn pilots on the ground.

Leave and come back until done.

Actually you can just abort to cetus or orbiter too

I just made another attempt. Rhino with skin, used a pod, didn't even use my archwing just in case. Still 0/1 after another 'escort the drone'.

Completed it finally with rhino in the incursion 'protect the area'. Maybe its the drone incursion that has the error?

All that crap just for a Seer riven. I cried a little inside.

I completed it via escort mission.

Maybe you're not putting iron skin on before starting or taking operator damage?

    Cg on completing it

    What was it?

    Ah, okay. Agreed.

Games are expensive and time-consuming to make, especially if you want to do a good job. Land me some winning lottery tickets and we'll talk. 😛

Hum. I think DE could stand to review some of their FX brightness overall, especially with regards to on-screen saturation. I find that Warframe can become a right clusterbomb of blinding visuals which prevent me from really engaging with what's going on. Any defense-oriented mission with Napalms can be a good example of this, especially with a Nekros (i.e., me) in the mix.

Keep in mind that part of why I would want this is making projectile speed a more universally applicable bonus/penalty. I would ultimately want every mod to be a measured trade-off, so having universally applicable stats would help a great deal in that respect. I also question how much processing power it would actually require; I don't think there's a noticeable difference in performance between Grineer and Corpus missions, nor does the game spontaneously hitch if you have a full team of people using projectile weapons.

The only issues that have cropped up in the past have been due to excessive multishot applied to ballistics-enabled projectiles (i.e., projectiles that drop due to gravity like on the Kohm) or intensive visual effects (like on the Simulor). Most weapons would be fine with simple tracers, and I'm not advocating for actual ballistics on a universal scale.

The answer is essentially nothing. Aside from the procs, radiation is the same as corrosive is the same as viral is the same as insert x element here from a gameplay perspective. Absolutely nothing changes aside from your arbitrary efficacy. That's fine for raw damage, but elements should certainly have more of an impact on playstyle.

Agreed! Random crits and procs are two mechanics that spring handily to mind...

I've never been a huge fan of any Blizzard games, though that's more down to aesthetic preferences than mechanical ones.

You completely misunderstood what they said. Yes, elements have a function with regards to game mechanics. They're still just fancy raw damage, aside from a handful that have persistently useful procs.

This is great and all, but it changes absolutely nothing in the greater scope of the game experience. If you strip off all the fancy labels you're left with "your weapon deals more damage." Great, that's exactly the same as Serration, and the only time this really comes up in game is if you happen to forget to switch between mod loadouts when facing a different faction.

Again, how is this any different from just dealing more damage? Swapping out arbitrary mod cards before the mission starts does not equate to elemental damage adding meaningfully to the game. You still approach enemies the exact same way, and the only difference is "this one works and this one doesn't." Armor is even more ridiculous, because the actual most effective strategy is to ignore both radiation and corrosive entirely, stack CP, and take Viral. Why? Because it deals more damage against health.

    Much unique, very interesting. Wow.

That. Is. Not. Depth. It's shallow complexity at best.

Ooh, great, let's memorize a table of what deals increased damage to what. Not only that, let's make it inconsistent as hell and completely opaque without a wiki, or until you've scanned possibly 20 of the same damn enemy before we share its weaknesses with you. Pokemon did a better job of this type of complexity because weaknesses and resistances were mostly common sense and easy to keep track of.

Depth would be something like players having options for making normally ineffective options more effective with the right knowledge. For example, freezing an armored enemy with Cold damage to increase its vulnerability to Impact. The rigid system we currently is basically just a game of color-by-the-numbers.

There's a lot more to Melee 3.0 than Maiming Strike changes. If it were that big of a deal they could have just nerfed Maiming Strike's interaction with Blood Rush and been done with it.

How did you read that ongoing discussion and come to the conclusion that any of us wants "one answer for everything?" Seriously, how?

Yea I condone this statement. I try multiple builds to make the game interesting out if boredom

Garuda and the reason is Healing Specters, Allies, Nekros SOTD, Revenant's Enthralled enemies, Saryn's Molt, Operators, Friendly Ambulas, Rescue Target, Defection Survivors, herself, and she can place three of them up at once for a very fast heal, Self Energy Gain, scaling Damage, Guarantee Slash Procs from abilities and Weapons (dosen't matter what type of base damage your Weapon got too), Gory playstyle, Muplicative Damage Buff, and Synergies with her abilities. She can also use her Claws as a seperate Melee Weapon when you unequip your Main Melee Weapon but i normally don't use it because there's other Melee Weapons that's better. Her Thickness is another reason i love about her

I didn't come to this game unaware of how grindy it is. I didn't know what was going on but I had a damn good time of it and I don't regret it.

But after 2 years of waiting for it to happen, it never did. Warframe never went on to be popular among my IRL friends and peers, never achieved more than labor of love, and never relented from it's extreme grindwalls.

And this orb heist update was the straw that broke the camel's back. Nothing in this update can be experienced until you grind through at least 20 hours of vallis bounties. Nothing.

I'm not here to take a second job.

I can't play a game so insecure of itself, that the only way it thinks it can stay alive is by dangling a fancy gun behind countless hours of grind in the hopes players stick around. Nor can I justify it to my friends or peers or accept myself for reccomending it to them.

I don't want to be disappointed in my most played game. I can't justify a game where ivara levels of grindwall block absolutely everything, and where the community is so shallow that they complain about noggles of all the things in the world.

    See ya later, spaceninja.

I'll be back at least a half year from now, or whenever DE starts being self-assured. If this game's devs are as godly as we think they are, I hope one day they can remove these massive grindwalls and buff droprates from 0.01% averages to 10%.

Because if things were that sweet, I probably would never have made this post.

    Boo!
