[Cross Platform Save Rollout Information & Status]

The fact that setting your console account up with a cross save locks you out of trading on your own platform is just ridiculous. It should be a given that this functionality remains over everything else...but looking at what's happening, it seems the process effectively converts all accounts to PC accounts, which opens you up to trade with all PC users, along with other platform users that have implemented cross save on their account. Hardly ideal, especially as those who haven't done it yet are likely single platform players who have no intention to create a cross save account.

The only solution I can see to the current predicament is that everyone will have their accounts "forced" into a cross save, to unify everyone under a PC account linked to their console platform account, but that opens up a whole new can of worms! 🤷🏻‍♂️

I could be wrong, but I get the impression that those players are (mostly) ones who have no interest in cross save, and are thinking you're talking about cross play, which they most likely do have enabled.

This one always puzzled me. I get that you want to use "usage" stats to help influence the disposition changes (I don't completely agree with this, certainly not at 50% anyway, if a weapon is fun people will use it, why punish them for that, and it's not making poor weapons better by doing so), but in the case of the Paracesis, you literally had an event that encouraged everyone to use that sword, so of course the usage stats are going to rocket. And let's not forget there are still Sentient ships in Railjack that people will be using the sword for. Whether someone is using the Paracesis because it's their favourite weapon, or because it gets the job done better against Sentients, the usage stats have been pushed up for the weapon, which has meant the disposition has been cut down to a minimum.

A better approach would have been to monitor the usage of this weapon outside of the event and game modes that encourage you to use it. This would show how many people are actually using the sword for the rest of the game content.

I hope you can see how crazy it is to say "the Paracesis is being used by a lot of people, so we need to reduce the Riven disposition" when you are running events and missions actively encouraging people to use the Paracesis! *face palm*

Really like the idea of the one unified stream.

Absolutely terrible time slot tho, especially with the extended stream time. As a UK based player I was able to watch some of the Thursday streams, but they already run on late, these extended streams will make it practically impossible viewing now. Shame :(

 

Please consider adding the drops to content creators streams who are streaming during the previous slot times, at least that way we can maybe catch up with the news then, and maybe get some bonuses into the mix too. Just a thought.

You are never ever getting Access-exclusive items for Platinum, considering that Platinum varies wildly in its valuation due to discount coupons and trading.
Saying "I just want the cosmetics" is exactly why they're exclusive to Prime Access; to encourage people to actually pay the premium and fund continued development.

In that case, there should be an option of buying Regal Aya packs without the Platinum (previously Endo) at a respective price for people who want to support DE with their real money, but don't need/want the surplus currency in the package.

By your own definition, the value of Platinum can vary wildly... Why force it on people just to bump up the bundle price?

While I'm glad to see DE has heard the feedback & made the necessary changes to make Regal Aya comparable to the Prime Accessory Packs now in terms of value, it would be nice if there was on option to be able to also buy these items outright with platinum that players already have.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who buy the Prime Access packs, Platinum bundles, or have traded for Platinum who don't actually need *more* Platinum that would love to buy some of these accessory items using currency they've already paid for... Just a thought.

Maybe even limit it to just the accessories, so you can still only get the Frames & Weapons with Regal Aya? I'm sure DE would see a big uptake on people buying the accessories they don't have with Plat if that's all people need. Maybe something to consider for future events if nothing else?

You're right, your affinity booster isn't paused, but boosters stack with community events... So instead of getting 2 x affinity, you're getting 4 x affinity... (2 x from your booster, + 2 x from the community event) :)
