Yet they are pretty standard next to what other games offer, and Digital Extremes have gone out of their way to resolve issues on a positive note, even if they were not entitled to do so.     what i meant is like the Umbra Excal and The "chinese" developers or so i've heard. It has massive impacts to the game more than the players, so it can be the root cause here.
    As you can see, DE isn't mentioning much about Umbra Excal when it's already half a year since announcement. And i assume that i know the reason why they don't tell. But if they did tell, There will probably be some oscillation in the amount of players, so they decided not to.

  2. The latest Devstream gave me some idea on how volt abilities should be. I don't want to make it too crowded here so DE can read it without being intimidated by letters, So let's get to the point.

    (Basically, i just want him to maximize his synergy with his large Energy pool (primed version), but not make it spammy like Saryn.)
     

    1.SHOCK: Remove the electric chain of 5 enemies, it will be integrated into his 4th ability. But instead, have the ability to continuously Zap enemies, Like Emperor palpatine/Darth sidious from star wars. Effectively stunning an enemy with Electric proc without having the hassle to spam the ability. Make the lock-on angle not so wide and more centered on the reticle.

    2.SPEED: It's fine, don't change it. But add the ability to reload faster and increase Abilities animation cast speed ! Maybe have the option to toggle 'FOV increasing effect' in the option menu. Shocking speed augment will be removed as it will be integrated into his 4th ability.

    3.ELECTRIC SHIELD: Add a new mechanic where if you hold down (or toggle) the ability, You can increase the radius/area of the shield so it can cover more area for your teammates to shoot at. The more you increase its area, the more it drains your energy. Maximum radius/diameter is determined by Power Range. The issue here is that sometimes you need to make 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 Electric shield to effectively cover allies to shoot at enemies. YOU CAN still spam it to increase the damage as it's how it should be.

    4.--> RENAMED <-- (ARC SHOCK?): A toggleable ability. What it does is like the Shocking Speed augment, or Vauban's coil, or Amprex. A more usefull CC than Overload without verging on Overpowered. Basically what it does is once you activated this ability, Volt will have a passive AoE around him where a shock of electricity will hit enemies automatically around him randomly. Now the real deal here, is that once the shock has hit an enemy, it will arc into another enemy on an infinite range. It will have a guaranteed Electric proc like shock. IF you aim at a target while Aiming down sight, one of the arc will focused on the target.


       How to make 4th ability balance: 1. It is a line of sight ability. 2. The first shock from Volt will have a radius, maybe around 20 or 25m (Can be increased with Power Range mods). 3. Have a hard capped number of enemies that can be shocked (similar to Ash's bladestorm), I think the sweet spot will be 15 enemies. Can be increased with Power strength mods, 200% strength will shock 30 enemies (of course the damage is increased too, per arc). 4. Its not a continuous shock, It's just his former first ability built in on the automatic. The Interval between shock is determined by power duration. The more duration, the more shock per second. 5. As you can see, you must choose between more strength ( More enemies to damage and to electric proc) OR more duration (holding a tight group of enemies on hold for as long as you like.) There's more Damage Per Second with more duration by the way.

    Actual balance and values of abilities are of course should be Tested by DE. But the way his abilities works should be like that.
    Volt is my number 1 favorite warframe and may be forever will. I have use it in many Mission and i think these changes is for the best of playstyle for volt players.

    That means you're wrong. In old patches they ironed out explosion *counting* as headshot kill, but they do headshots regularly, put argon scope on any explosive weapon and test for yourself.

     I use secura penta and i'm pretty sure its the best explosive weapon to get headshot, but its not there. I'm not wrong.

    Really? i've seen many people one shot corpus in sorties with it and i'm surprised its not crush.
    Now why the heck is it more effective than crush!? it costs half the energy!

  5. People who shows up fancy with plat exclusive cosmetics item equipped but in the end keeps only press 4 like any other people.
    People who go to Draco with level 0 frame and making the mission hard because of not doing anything. (I dont revive people like them, no regrets.)

  6. Before you guys get all salty, I'm also one of you guys in this bandwagon. Its my first Focus and i have my Shadow step at max level and i have Valkyr with War (that heavy blade melee weapon) to accompany it.
    And seeing its true potential, i think it's pretty broken as its like sending all warframe into the school of the mustard race Loki, but better. I've seen many variations of nerf but i don't want a nerf, but a buff, BUT only in certain types of missions. And here's how i think it should be.

    Make it Invisible only when you get a stealth kill on unalerted enemy. Like the Covert lethality mod which works the same way but in this case ofcourse for all melee weapons .... But make the Invisibility permanent and can only be disabled if you get damaged or you activated your warframe ability. There's an Immune from disabling your invisible for maybe 2-3 seconds after triggering an invisibility so you have to get out of line of fire or literally fire if you stepped on it.
    This eliminates Total invisibility in long missions like survival because all enemies are alerted. But really benificial if you do some specific missions "stealthily" like spy or exterminate.
    And one last thing, I think all Focus passive should be active at the start of the round to make this Shadow step viable while making love to other Focus schools too. (Waiting 3 minutes+ has obviously a high chance to alert enemies, so by then this change would be a nerf....)

    TL;DR of what i'm saying, "IF YOU WANT TO BE LOKI, AT LEAST SHOW SOME SKILL BY USING ONLY YOUR WEAPONS AND NOT GETTING HIT"
    There you go balanced as it is. Im sure this will be for the better. If you don't like it, you're spoiled...

  7. Just kidding, It's 100% camp....

    no but i'm serious, probably the worst boss battle for solo, but kinda on public.

    Battling him are either you wait and camp and wait for someone to hack the bursa, or you hack the bursa while running around the map like a crazy person.

    The thing that is wrong with this, is that there's a maximum damage cap on the boss, so people who have strong weapons literally don't have any advantage on the boss, so the attacking part is like 2 seconds if you have high DPS weapons, and if u have a weaker weapon, the timer will not be shorten because its damage dependant.

    Not to mention going there takes so long because of lock downs, so we hack more than usual and the bursa are a mess, my friend and I got a little bit of epilepsy on the battle because every enemy spawned infinitely, so we see flying lasers across the screen all the time.

    Is it fun? yes. does it make me sick? yes.

    Use cipher? NO. a minigame of hack should be hacked, if i use cipher all the time is like telling to go infuse myself all the time instead of actually eating food.

    Am i a speedrun farmer of mods? NO, any scene should be enjoyed. I never speedrun a mission by only pressing 4 or using explosive weapons all the time

    But This tact alert is just bloated with hacks and campers so there's no way to enjoy.

  8. I'm also going to suggest Frost, he isn't exactly fast (not exactly slow either) but he is tank, and a very good defender. What you're interested in though, is that his avalanche can wipe out as many people as there are around you (this ability goes through walls and basically everything, so you don't even need to see the enemy to wipe them out!).

     

    Just my 2 cents

    But itsn't frost the slowest frame along with rhino?

  9. Can i post TL:DR version?

    Make sniper go through every enemies and nullifier like exalted blade, but not every obstacle like a thick wall.
    Since pinpointing and accuracy is what makes a sniper, a sniper, rather than shooting a giant blob of blue or yellow anywhere which doesn't really makes sense for the sniper. So i think this makes more sense.
