You are correct, the two daily tasks were there since launch, atleast I certainly think so.

It's certainly a better way to get those resources that were previously gated behind these alerts (that could pop at 4am when we were asleep.),

I can only suggest one change, The chance to give a small amount of Wolf Creds (Or whatever creds follow in it's wake after this season is over) whenever we capture those unique enemies that show up in a mission (name has escaped me), that way we can still consistantly get a small dribble of these credits.

Now this I can get behind. They give 50 standing per capture at present and pending further targets of that sort cred instead would be an awesome change. Remember though this is day 1 and we do NOT yet know the full extent of the Wolf of Saturn's influence there and in the system as a whole. We could end up fighting him later on in the Nightwave release period and earning MASSIVE cred/standing. At least I hope so. Would give vets a reason to be patient and newbies goals to work towards 🙂

The level of time dedication being asked of the players by the new nightwave system is unacceptable to people with jobs, or any life outside of the game at all, for both new and vetran players alike. It's taken items you use to be able to log on and do a 10 minute mission to get immediately, and locked them behind hours, days, even weeks of dedicated play time that a great deal of people just don't have.

I personally plan on quitting the game after getting this year's anniversary items, until DE fixes it, if they haven't by then

Sorry to be blunt. Again pointing out your quitting because you dislike a change? And uh hours The ONLY difficult mission there is the sortie which if your a player of any note should be good to do in a public run if not solo. I got almost all of these done in under 2 hours with a friend so not sure where your getting the timeframe from and quite frankly no patience for those complaining before they actually engage. 2 hours of time in a game of this quality that is also NOT sub based is not a hard ask and that gets you 15 nitain and a little off a reactor or catalyst which if you read the following post will still be available after devstreams as per normal.

Ranked up to lvl 3 in about 3 hrs of casual gaming.  Now got the sigil, glyph and 50 wolf creds, enough to buy 15 nitain (I think) if I wanted to - I don't,  I've got over 130 of them, point is it would have been impossible to get that many so quickly before.  You'd be talking maybe 1-2 weeks of casual play.  That's awesome for new players and the challenges aren't even hard.

As for doing alerts for credits, wow, that always seemed the most pointless thing in alerts as the credit amount was always so low.  Go and spend 5 mins in the index if you want creds or 5 waves at seimeni if that's not to your liking.

I  think the new system looks good.  I'll do stuff I haven't done in ages like sanctuary onslaught which I enjoyed doing again.  Or scanning things, gonna finally get those mods from simaris as I've always ignored that.

See this is the reasoning and the logic used not to just give freebies like alot of people complaining seem to be angling for. Some are even posting to get attention it seems sadly.

The way the system is made is so that you can get the items by playing the game normally as  would without worrying about missing any alerts and when the points you need are atacked up you can actually pick and choose your rewards instead of waiting for a random alert that people usually miss out on because of having a job. I almost never play on time for a reactor alert for example. So I've had to trade to buy my reactors for a very long time. To me It's a relief that I can just have my creds and pick one up now whenever I need it.

The glyph was yesterday's. The scanning one is today's.

They also removed sortie seasons. Let's not forget raids either. This may be the first weekly rotation but it's more of the same for veterans: do challenges and then wait for more.

Ok here is something I can discuss. Sure it can be an issue for veterans such as myself to wait. BUT we do NOT know what is coming. All the complaints at this stage are mere speculation. What IS NOT follows:

    1. A system that is allowing veterans like myself who had no access to resources like Nitain the chance to finally get them.
    2. A system that allows REAL choice not just a fake choice created by an algorithm plucking x number of alerts from y pool that I will not always have time for.
    3. A system that is brand new that WILL require and of course get tweaks as the ones we mentioned (PS the chicken frame bad joke was related to Vay Heks Earth Raid :P)

Most veterans were ignoring all bar very specific alerts and this allows you access to rewards YOU CHOOSE. This has been a long time coming frankly and the fact people said hardcore players could get 15 nitain in the same time frame as the reward tiers allow currently ignores the major fact that THOSE ALERTS WERE TIME SENSITIVE and now they are not!

Also I want to correct you the 2 dailies were there since launch and I believe unless you can stack them like you can in other games that is a false statement saying 1 was yesterday and 1 was today. Until I can be sure when they are supposed to reset both for the daily and weekly reset I will not speculate further though.

  4. Just now, Keybones said:

I believe there are two dailies: one for scanning 25 times, and one for placing a glyph.

Thank you knew I wasnt insane but that is still a moot point as its cycle one of a brand new system that will in time be tweaked like every other system was. Remember Solar Rails? And Vay Heks Terra Frame chicken raid? Systems that were removed due to issues making them work. Melee 2.0 has had numerous tweaks and now Melee 3.0 is coming out in a carefully staged release pattern. Solar 2.0 reworked the map system and made NPE much MUCH cleaner. NPE itself has changed soooooooooo much since I started 6 years ago.

These are many examples of systems both tweaked and removed and quite frankly I can almost gaurentee the vocal whine is coming from people A) With SEVERE entitlement issues who quite frankly SHOULD be ignored. or B) that refuse to read patch notes and devstream QA such as the thread DE Danielle created to answer issues with Nightwave.

  5. 2 minutes ago, Latiac said:

Really? that seems like alot of grinding for player who don't have the time to do so.

I heard elsewhere that you only need about 65% of all done in a season to get max, not sure if that's true or not.

Oh dear I would suggest holding out until we either get a DE response saying that is required or we find out at the end of this first Nightwave. People are thinking its purely designed to give them items easily. Sad fact of entitled gamers coming to games that were originally niche and well hidden I guess. 😞

  6. Just now, (XB1)AntiCaesar said:

There is 1 daily. The one that rewards 1k standing. Rest are weekly. After you do the weekly and dailies, you're pretty much out of luck and just waiting for the next cycle. Also quick maths have been done and basically if you miss just a few weeklies you are kinda boned from getting the max tier.

    Again.

    CYCLE 1

This is a key point people are ignoring.

I had multiple dailies so unless I misread I believe that to be incorrect and will be double checking to be sure. But that aside the above bold text still stands. Nothing released to date has gone without drastic change within days if not hours of release and the "Boycott" and other similar posts are just showing sheer entitlement and ignorance of that fact. Sure its NOT PERFECT currently but was the Sortie system? No? Was the system to give us Kubrow eggs? No they added those to alerts prior to a recent increase in drop rate thus facilitating a removal from the current Nightwave system shrinking the pool of required buys, Same deal with the Kavat gencodes. All of this mentioned in my OP link btw.

  7. The new Nightwave and removal of Alerts has hit and it seems alot of misinformation and confusion exists.

I want to start this discussion by linking to an article that I recommend be read BEFORE commenting.

The main issue that appears to be stinging the community is the fact that alot of the missions are weekly. They are about 50/50 Daily and Weekly. Dailies run 1-3k standing and Weeklies are up to 5k/

Sure this first cycle gets your first Wolf Cred pack but your also ignoring that this isnt even 24 hours into the first day.

We do NOT know the cycles yet and as such further complaints are invalid at this point and "BOYCOTT NIGHTWAVE" and similar threads are wasting time both yours the poster and the time of those who read it. This is a brand new system so I reserve judgment but the complaints are either due to misinformed players or those who have yet to read the titles on their goal tabs either way wasteful and pointless.

This also raises another concern that I have seen and that is a trend of increasing abuse and negativity in ingame comms channels that can be ignored to a point sure but is a sign of a toxic minority thats slowly gaining traction as they do if the Mods and forum admins are not stepping in in a fair unbiased and timely manner. I hope all the "boycott nightwave" and similar threads that are based on incorrect information get some clarity from DE CMs and locked as there is no purpose for their existence aside from trashing what has been the best upgrade to the game since the removal of the Solar Rails.

UPDATE 1 Please read this tweet and realise the issues WERE taken into account with things such as the % quoted in the tweet among other things. Thanks to the person who added this to the thread sorry I am unsure how to copy paste this forums quotes (GG WTB old BBboards >_<)

    Update 2

I would like to point out something alot of the complaints have missed. Currently as of launch there are random triggered events where you can capture 3 Fugitives for 50 standing each. I had yet to do alot of the new Nightwave quests prior to encountering my first capture situation and have faced and successfully captured 3 full sets so far on tilesets of all levels. I assume prior to any confirmation here or on the subreddit or from DE directly you will be potentially able to do other such random events. This is why I urge the community to be cautious because if that were to occur we not only have a brand new system removing alerts that the MAJORITY of players disliked for legitimate reasons but this vocal minority will finally understand that we as the community do not I REPEAT do NOT know the future plans for this great game and we are best served by DE engaging a bit better and for the community to be patient as a whole both ways.

My patience with intentional or unitentional ignorance is wearing thin today it seems. THERE IS NO FIX. There are daily and weekly resets. Dailies offer 1-3k standing and the WEEKLIES like Maroos Bazaar offer 5k or so. If you would READ please and quit assuming its broken.

I can understand the annoyance of losing out on a quick mission or two and receive bonus rewards but i think you're exaggerating.

I completed half of the missions in a about 2 hours (due to long load times on my craptop it would be less than an hour and a half without the loading times), it isn't unreasonable. Maybe being able to get the end of the line rewards like the Umbral Forma could be counted as unreasonable, but you aren't suppose to get it until the end of the season anyway.

This makes it so all the dailies aka "easy" ones are available for more then the 1-2 hours they were previously people like OP and other threads are being ignorant of the reality that these changes are providing BETTER engagement while minimizing those issues.

  9. So wait hang on you created this post to complain about a brand new system and say at the end it was feedback after saying you play ESO and barely touch warframe?

I play Elder Scrolls Online so nightwave isn't my cup of tea. I'm not married to warframe. It was fun to log in and do a little alert for an aura I never had or a skin.

This comment alone reeks of entitled child demanding x be y without proper understanding and it is incredibly galling to see this behaviour more and more both ingame and out. You are better off by playing as the alerts are NOW. You are not forced into being online at the MOMENT a 1 hour alert pops for fear of missing it and for me this opens Saryn Vauban and so much more that needed nitain that I ragequit farming on as I was missing nitains most of the day and my play schedule only saw 1-2 formas a week if that (Not being a day person kinda sucks)

Ember, Banshee, Nova, etc. all these frames that have no reliable way to protect themselves beyond dishing out as much damage as possible, can now be covered by Oberon. Siren Trinity has 75% pure unbridled DR. But only in affinity range. And is on a timer. This allows. Renewal is one and done. But that doesn't mean people can just go ham and expect to come out unscathed. He helps. But he doesn't turn people into unkillable gods. But any frame with rage and QT will benefit greatly from constant healing.... hmmmmmmmmmmm possible meta?

Not so much meta but an example of why people crying over this rework do not see the obvious potential. Any frame even gods like Limbo and chroma wont always get away unscathed especially in higher tiers and levels of the enemies we face. The fact that people ignore HG knockdown resist and status immunity etc are driving me insane. That combined with the ability to provide cover for the glass cannons we have mentioned he has been improved incredibly. Aside from smite being an issue but that may just be a technical fix due to the way his orb shatters after initial impact and could be quite complicated given the math for rad proc etc.

Thank you for clarifying what we all said in a more clear form by the way.

You have stated the one thing most anti-Oberon people ignore willfuly or unintentionally and that is the HG/IR combo can be sustained EASILY once applied if people only played smart. Sad fact is that would require less 1 button build demand and more strategy and tactical thought. The one dislike I have for this community is the propensity for the vocal few to say the ones who are experienced are irrelevant when we sit there and KNOW the frames and weapons we discuss.

CORROSIVE PROJECTION.I dont need to expend any energy with a team with 4 of these. it also is permanent, and map wide.

most people dont know this but nezha can heal, provide status cleanse, provide damage mitigation not just reduction and his 4 is a hard cc. bring 4 corrosiveprojections and you now do everything that oberon is touted to do.

do you actually understand why a 4 CP 4 man team is worthless? Your reducing damage for melee and regen of energy etc that is ALOT more use then your CP which quite frankly should be on 1 of each team members weapons at a minimum anyway if your pushing harder content and to say nehza has utility that beats oberon your augmenting for a skill that cant be maintained as easily as Renewal and requires line of sight to the target to apply.

I am honestly curious how far you have taken both frames as Nehza does well but Oberon since rework has been MUCH better.

Sorry for the 3 replies just learnt I could multi quote and keep forgetting to do so.

  12. 5 hours ago, Darkvramp said:

if Oberon provided an actual amount DR that was not pitiful, you would not need to be revived by his augment. If you are revived by the augment then you are likely in more trouble, and being revered once means you will need to be revived likely before the cool down is up. also there is a focus can revive you. if you need more time to revive someone it is not worth reviving them, one exception is if you were just a step away and the person dies. Most of oberons kit is provided by other frames, that do it more efficiently with greater effect and status is almost never a problem because the number of enemies that can afflict status on you are countable on your hands.

You do realise that glass cannon frames like Ember would benefit intensely from the 250 armor my IR can currently provide? On frames like Chroma with 600% armor buff from vex its irrelevant but on some of the control frames that have low survivability but have massive damage as in the mentioned Ember its insanely big.

  13. 5 hours ago, Hellmaker2004 said:

Yes this is true, and he can heal for a decent chunk as well. However it is extremely clunky and if you consider Chakram to be a good healing skill, then boy are you in for a surprise after you try Renewal or even Well of Life.

    Also

He offers 200 Armor with Iron renewal before power strength, and it is currently effected by that. And 200 armor equals 200/(300+200) = 0.4

So he offers 40% Damage resistance with the default value of armor he grants. Now i agree that frames with high armor may not be as effected by this as other frames are due to diminishing returns, but saying that he offers pitiful DR may be a overstatement.

And apply that 200+ armour on a frame like volt banshee etc that are doing other things and you see how the argument about his IR is redundant

Please no more as it hurts to read the abject hypocrisy. This "debate" has been you making sure your opinion is agreed with nothing more and you brought in Limbo which you stated was an OFFENSIVE frame to compare to a support frame? The RIFT mechanic is a burden in any hands that do NOT understand it. Unlike that mechanic, HG and Reckoning do not require you to micromanage area effects or banish proper targets be they allied or otherwise.

You have quoted and misquoted enough from me so I bid you farewell.

  15. 8 minutes ago, Alusdrann said:

Don't have a rack attack. You seemed to have missed some things in my posts:

    - I don't play him solo. I play him in teams.
    - I primarily play support characters, so Oberon is exactly within my preferred playstyle.
    - I use a range-focused build, to enable use of all of his skills. I can tell you from experience this is not nearly as viable as the 1-button-builds I described. I just find it more fun.
    - I am aware of literally every use case you just described, and can simultaneously tell you from experience that other support frames do these things significantly better and more reliably. Even Limbo, which is an offensive frame, is currently better at support in a crisis than Oberon.

I'm not going to deny that toggling Renewal was a huge improvement, but aside from the defense bonus being changed to a flat value, that's about the only significant improvement he got. Duration is less of a requirement for him now, sure, but it can't be completely trashed, because HG still needs it to function, which means Renewal and Reckoning both need it to some degree as well.

The synergies, as they're implemented now, are clunky, but mostly because HG itself is clunky. The Reckoning synergy isn't worth caring about for the most part -- if it happens, nice. If not, oh well. The Renewal synergy on the other hand is pretty crucial, since without it Renewal will sap more of Oberon's limited energy reserves. Even with the defense boost applied, Renewal is still a significant energy-sink.

Phoenix Renewal builds strongly disagree with you. But, either way, yes we all know healing alone isn't enough there. You also need CC. This concept is not unique to Oberon. The difference is that you can get CC from weapons much easier than you can get healing, defense, or instant-resurrection.

Obviously that's the intended design, to use all abilities. Also, hate to burst your bubble dude, but Hallowed Ground definitely requires you to be on the ground to cast it.

As an aside, since you mentioned airborone ability mobility, you really haven't experienced that in it's full glory until you've thoroughly played Limbo.

Why are we all of a sudden bringing Limbo into this? That sod of a frame is only good at support due to the rift mechanic. And that is oft abused in pug teamplay as I have had the misfortune of finding last 3 limbos I encountered. I mentioned Limbo after his rework not in a comparison to oberon for support/utility. I would have to see you in action before I drrew conculsions but what I see here frustrates me because there is absolutely no basis for it.

Again Music and I mentioned airborne mobility in the context of how it affects OBERON not comparing it to another frame and Music didnt speciffy oberon directly if i read his post right he said oberon was one of a few with good air skill usage.

The fact you latch so easily onto very irrelevant and easily distorted asides leaves me at a loss and sadly I cant spend more on this thread as the majority of what I have read is the same sadly outside of well and truely rare indepth posts.

EDIT The original point of airborne mobility was regarding RECKONING not HG btw.

EDIT 2 Just the whole you didnt read my post thing is a bit of a laugh mate please read before you start quote snipping me please,

  16. 1 minute ago, Alusdrann said:

Both Hallowed Ground and Reckoning are clearly designed with close-combat in mind. Hallowed Ground is inherently an immobile skill. A tactic unique to Oberon is to use Electromagnetic Shielding while standing on Hallowed Ground. Oberon inherently benefits from being less-than-mobile and in the heat of things.

    Lol

I didn't say range HG isn't useful. I said that's the only way to make it even remotely useful. The range on HG is miserable for what it does. Without range changes, it's a 180 degree arc. If you want a circle, you have to cast it twice, which costs extra energy from Oberon's already severely-limited energy reserves if you're using Renewal to any significant extent. Even with double-casting, the radius isn't nearly good enough for what the skill currently does. The 'synergy' effects require their targets to be standing on the surface, not just within the radius, which is especially problematic for Renewal. The shape of HG does not match the shape of the skills that have 'synergy' effects (surely you're familiar with these toddler toys?)

If you don't get it by now, I don't know what else to tell you.

Except that is exactly what they did to Oberon. Renewal is the only thing worth building for if you want to bring him to high-end content. The only thing that keeps it from being a true 1-button-build is that you have to use HG to get all of Renewal's effects. As long as Renewal is on, HG is not touched further, because it's just not worth using.

Renewal is NOT the only reason to bring him to high-end content. His Reckoning can be cast while falling and has saved teammates of mine in MULTIPLE situations. Most used for me is in void on Mot and falling from upper floor down in the rooms with the trees in the center. I can with my current mods Reckoning bomb enough to save a bleedout and in some cases the rekconing allows a HG/Renewal if the team mate is suitably nearby,

Care to elaborate again I ask you to ELABORATE on how you feel that a skill like HG isnt worthwhile when your playing a team frame not one designed for solo like many others? Curious to see if your upset about this frame being more team oriented then solo because every single thing ive read from you thus far has no grounding in reality.

Do you realise that HG arcs can clip through some terrain like Galleon walls that if placed correctly can provide radprocs on things way before they see you thus slowing em enough for you or your team to handle that which is already engaged? Or that an Oberon with pstr/prange Equinox can between them lock out all bar the biggest void halls with rad and hardstuns? This frame like many others has had some needed QoL but again I fear you are amongst those who dont grasp that these 1 button builds you claim are the only reliable way are just how you PLAY the frame?

I want to see smite changed not HG/Renewal nor Reckoning as it is quite honestly the most underwhelming first skill period unless your looking at Hydroid the one frame that needs a rework more then percieved changes to a frame that has been given a definite breath of fresh air after his rework.

No. I'm not looking for DAMAGE on eithr hallowed ground or reckoning. It's just neither feel worth using when I'm activly keeping renewal up. Maybe switching to a static cost for renewal will mitigate that, but as is Oberons' entire kit feels like it 'wants' to be spammed and... that just feels like 'I am going to make up for poor abilities by using them LOTS.'

I never mentioned damage but CROWD CONTROL. The skill as it stands IS designed to be a spammable CC one that doesnt need micromanagment like alot of others or that has some massive cost be it through energy such as a slow nova or banshees sound quake or forced managment like nyx chaos that is kinda hinky if you kill a few and have 1 left.

Please understand that we are talking about a paladin type here not someone who DEALS damage but who helps direct the flow of the fight and as it stands this rework while not final in any terms is alot better then most.

Out of all these I think pushing past getting rid of the dependency business (Seriously, just... kill it. It's anti-fun.) I feel that the two powers that need work are Hallowed Ground, and Reckoning.

Smite feels like it's in a good place, though as I have said swap the damage out from a shared pool for secondary projectiles, to a 5% per orb. Literally that's it. And even that is not really needed.

Renewal will be good with the dependency removed to add iron renewal and solving the spawned minion drain issue.

Reckoning and Hallowed Ground both feel underwhelming. For me hallowed ground sees use right now as a chokepoint skill. Reckoning... just doens't usually feel worthwhile if I've got renewal up.

You do miss the cc granted by reckoning perhaps? I have found a twin Oberon 1 EV Trinity and your choice of 4th frame can control areas INCREDIBLY effectively especially if your Oberons are dropping HG at strategic chokes as mentioned above. HG was never intended in my eyes to be this insane buff. Look at all the recent reworks including the ones to frames like Saryn and Limbo. They are trying to mitigate 1 button builds and this has been achieved with what they did to Oberon at this time. Coordinated strikes between oberons with reckoning and good prange for large arc Rad-CC can do wonders for crowd control not to mention some of the damage im seeing oberons manage with Reckoning as well.

My biggest issue with Oberon at present is the fact people are ignoring how little Smite does later on. There are people saying make the secondary projectiles do % damage but you need to look at it from the point of avoiding 1 button builds again. If they did that to smite even on a light setting it could end up being devastating in tight confines. While this sounds nice it does make for some problems if your on endless in my mind.

  20. 33 minutes ago, Alusdrann said:

I disagree, to an extent. The original design of HG felt like it was supposed to be a sanctuary of sorts, like a different flavor of Snow Globe. Like players were meant to be inside it, and if enemies were to wander in, they were punished for it. Unfortunately it was never really had the range to make that happen, plus suffered from the requirement of standing on it.

As it is now, it sort-of has the same feel, especially if you pump range. With high enough power range, you can blanket a pretty decently sized room which will give primarily radiation-CC and status immunity on its own. Unfortunately this isn't enough to make the skill really worth using. If they want to keep this design, they need to push it further and make it less fiddly to use.

Not sure how prange/ HG isnt useful? There is no fiddly to it and I do appreciate the changes they made through the rework. Keep in mind as later responses to this thread after this one had mentioned he is a paladin and HG offering rad-cc and status immunity with a MUCH MUCH bigger comparable area is along those lines of the original while making prange a lesser issue then it was.

As I am not good at the math its hard but the old HG used to be even at max prange a columnar type field effect, since the rework i get over 190 degree coverage which in all but the biggest of rooms allows for significant coverage with far less energy cost. Depending on your team set it can be maintained with little effort esspecially with a high Pstr ev pumping you every so often.

What situations do you find it fiddly in currently given the arc nature of the field effect compared to the older HG and keep in mind  if you turn 180 you have near perfect coverage for all bar the center core.

    Thanks Megan.

I'll take the chance to post right now, I've been thinking for a while about all the changes now, I kind of swap positions every now and then -- but ultimately, I feel there's two things that could use some love.

First of all, I believe that Renewal doesn't need an interaction with Hallowed Ground. Synergy is fine, but this one executes poorly. Taking into account we now drain energy constantly and it's limited by range, I believe having the armor on base Renewal wouldn't be a bad thing.

On the other abilities, at first I thought having Oberon on HG should have gotten the benefits on the abilities without need of the enemies being on it -- then I realized, what Scott may be pursuing is to keep the strategic use of Hallowed Ground. So not cast it where you are for bonuses, but on strategic points like doors or spawn points. Thus I personally believe on that front, we're good.

There is, however, still a lack of base Hallowed Ground benefits for allies. Besides Status Clearance, we used to get an armor boost before, which now is on Renewal. First idea was to have something to do with shields (faster regen) but that'd leave Inaros/Nidus out. I'm still wondering what could be good to have here.

As for Shadows, there shouldn't be extra drain from them, thus no healing, HOWEVER, maybe a small benefit for them being in wouldn't be a bad idea. Something like static amount of less Health Decay perhaps? (ie: 0.25 less, so from 2.5% Max HP drain -> 2.25% Max HP drain). Maybe that'd be ask too much though.

Feel free to disagree with me, fellow Tenno :P

EDIT: Can't believe I've missed this: The armor value. 225 for base Oberon (should be the same as Excalibur) and 300 for Prime, please. I mean it.

Could you clarify how the synergy is poor for HG/Iron Renewal? I much prefer this setup as it is good for united teams like the ones I run with? I get that the range problem is an issue but the drain in many of my team setups that I have tried him with have yet to yield any major issues outside 100+ which we dont yet often push.

HG at this point for me is a strategic soft cc with the radproc almost always creating havoc points without needing a nyx. While it isnt reliable in the slightest its alot better then one could have hoped for especially in a few pushed 50+ solos i tried for giggles.

Smite and the other augment infused abilities should not be self targetable though if any were to benefit from that it would be Smite if we were to be able to charge into the secondary fragments kinda like you do with Titania and her 2nd skills buff shadows. I could forsee this being a potential technical difficulty and one they might already be working on but the uses would be a little off? I would prefer scaling be fixed first before changing the augments in all honesty.

Curious what logic your using for oberon having a 225 base armor as his reg version and 300 in prime? Excal has higher armor and from a pure logic point makes sense he is intended to be taken in tight while Oberon is a more mobile fellow and personally for me sits out mid to long range depending on the situation as they shift.

    There are no downvotes

Eh only toxic replies. Thought they had a downvote here been forever since I last posted >_> used to bnet lmao

EDIT The toxic bit refers to some rather obvious trolling on an old thread not you btw sir my apologies.

  23. I am writing this post as both a query and a warning to others.

I have been alot more active of late and while I am usually exceedingly helpful have come across several to remain nameless players who exhibt quite exceedingly toxic behaviour on a continual basis. Today I log in to find I have been restricted from all chat channels outside of clan and wonder why when I go out of my way to help others and do so willingly. Yes I admit I have reacted to the negative but at worst its a 1 line snap and moving on.

My query about this restriction is I didnt even have so much as a warning and the 3 DE SighBorg bot kicks were when I said the words recruiting or anything related to items and that the trade channel was there for trading. I am not sure why I didnt even get an email to my registered email as I have on the rare occasion I have broken rules stating what I did wrong. I am ok with being muted IF I know why. The only 2 situations I could forsee being relevant was 1 response with a single swear in reaction to an aforementioned toxic player who was a constant thorn when I was helping others and a really poor reaction to an abusive player after a run they tried to glitch out a mobile defense because i politely asked him to help at the defense target and not wanter off like he had.

I expect to be downvoted but I hope the future of this game isnt a continued flood of negativity that gets veterans chat banned when they make a minor slip up.
