The Bug: When I enter the Inventory screen, there are time when clicking on UI elements--especially the EXIT button--does nothing. It no longer responds to input and I find I have no choice but to Alt-F4.
This has happened several times, both on my Orbiter and in Hub areas, either solo or in a group. I have not been able to reliably reproduce the bug, but I have several conditions worth providing.
I use two monitors. Pressing the ESC key in Warframe usually unlocked my cursor to click around on the other screen. I didn't have YouTube running, but I did have two tabs open in Firefox, the Fandom wiki for Warframe. (Unrelated: please make a non-Fandom wiki, Fandom needs to crumble.)
I play with an Xbox One controller in lieu of keyboard, but I often switch to Mouse+Keyboard when navigating menus. Typically this has only caused mild UI issues where the screen flickers between M+K and Controller HUD elements, but this isn't about that.
(notice the Exit button isn't highlighted)
When the bug occurs, inputs of any kind no longer affect the game state. I cannot select items and I cannot exit or change the menu. I am soft-locked, forced to close the game. The only input it seems to accept are as follows:
Rollover for the inventory item descriptions still work, as does the scroll bar.
I was somehow able to use the search bar this time. I don't remember if that was always the case.
I can click on both my and my friend's Glyphs, but the drop-down buttons do nothing. This also happens with the Foundry/Booster icon in the top-right.
EDIT: The sorting drop-down option seems to work fine, and the category tabs highlight but don't work.
EDIT: I can click Invite. Don't know why I would want to (lol) but that menu works.
Obviously this is a very unpleasant thing to experience, especially with weapon slots being as restrictive as they are encouraging me to sell weapons to free up space, so I hope my information can fix the issue as soon as possible. Thank you.
