This is actually a pretty common problem that new players face. Any chance that the system can recieve some sort of warning for newer players or some quick redesign (obviously not to spend a huge amount of resources on such a small issue)?
That would be great if that could be done. I have to say that it was my fault as well. I was farming for Heavy Caliber in Orokin Derelict and left it. When I came back on I forgot that it was in my gear wheel.

Thanks @hyzmarca I'll give that a shot!

Hello heatguy1986! It looks like you have all four Dragon Keys equipped in your gear wheel, your damage is reduced by the Extinguished Dragon key.
OMG lol I did say that I was an on again/off again player haha. Thanks!

I'm an on again/off again WF player on console. I decided to jump back in and check out "new" Ignis Wraith builds and came across this one:
I have all the mods in this build. The only difference is that:
- for Serration Mod, I have 1 more upgrade to do to fully max out this mod
- for Heavy Caliber, I have 4 more upgrades to do to fully max out this mod
What's not making sense to me is that, I'm not even getting close to the damage output that the link is providing. I am 200 hundred points or so below Heat and Corrosive damage. Granted, my Serration and Heavy Caliber isn't maxed out, but those mods aren't level 0 either.
Did they nerf this weapon? What are your build suggestions (doesn't matter what type) for this weapon?

just an FYI though, if you delete or use weapon/frame for crafting, you will need to reapply any reactors/catalysts/forma, it's strictly for that particular item. Say if you used a boltor with a catalyst to make a boltace, the boltace will need its own catalyst to get the full 60 points, it doesn't carry over.
Thank you. I thought that's how that worked at least but great refresher.

Thanks all. I was sweating bullets because I forgot how this worked. I didn't want to grind for another Vaykor if I lost the double mods I got.

Thanks for clarifying the weapons aspect of Orokin Catalysts. I would assume that the same thing applies to Orokin Reactors in frames right? Meaning that I don't lose the double mods after applying the Forma.

Ok so which is which? I got a "You keep the +30" and I got a "No".

Been an off and on again player on WF. After a year of coming back I finally got a Vaykor Hek. I was able to max the weapon out to lvl 30.
I then used an Orokin Catalyst which bumped my mod capacity from 30 to 60. I then decided to use a Forma to add a polarity. It then brought my weapon back to lvl 0.
Question is, once I get the weapon back to lvl 30, do I lose the +30 I got from using the Orokin Catalyst in the beginning?

Hi All,
I always play the high risk option in the index. However, it takes me quite awhile to kill some enemies in the high risk mode so I can only hang a couple of rounds. I have an arca plasmor and a vaykor hek and heard that these work well. I've seen that Radiation works well as all enemies in the Index are weak against that.
Was told that 'status is king' and would like to know your builds for one shot or close to one shot kills for a few rounds of High Risk Index credit farming.
