Maybe you guys wanted to secure a high score right at the end to blow past competition without any chance for opposition? I'm glad that that kind of behavior is not possible, aren't you?

thats my stance too, its not honorful in a fight imo but thats only my personal opinion

running overtime ones to make the others have no more possibility to react is a valid strategy though, no matter what we consider it

Dont care about WarbrosPrime, they was bug users in past events, but bugs stike them back.

    Gratz, dicht!

Well the event handling was indeed unusual and kinda not fair for the whole playerbase because it vastly differed from the usual way it worked. I only dislike the idea of sneaking overtime runs in because it dishonors a fight in my opinion but well, thats only me.. after all its till a legit option everyone could do

That is exactly my point. The OPERATION (Alert, Fissure, Event, Tactical alert) is on now UNTILL 2pm ET. So the mission is live, for that time. Not the scoring. Not the acquisition of points. But the mission itself. I'm going to start setting myself up for disappointment if I join alerts with 5 mins left, and I finish in 5 mins and 1 second. No item, or points for me!

i know it went really unusually but how long after the event ended could you usually score still? that was somehow never set in stone i assume

we could have basically delayed this until a few days after the event already ended in this case

I think their assumption was perfectly fair, unless it was stated somewhere in an official thread that all missions completed after the event ends wouldn't be counted.

Please quote where it specifically says something like that and there's no real argument here.

Feels odd arguing for putting my clan second but it's not exactly fair how this has gone.

true that, but im bothered by the sentence: they won as they were supposed to.. we played with 26,6% less players

  5. Some nice piece of work right there :P

I would respect you if you did 1K points without breaking the game.

Frost is supposed to be a defensive Warframe who can lock out enemies with his snowglobe, slow them with the ice wave and take them out and make them harmless for a period of time with his ult. He is hugely lacking damage potential and trades that off for high defensive capabilities. Same thing for Limbo, he is supposed to use the dimensions to his advantage and having the task to bring something from a spot A to a spot B is certainly done in a very intelligent way by negating the contact of that "something" with any danger. Rifting the targets as well as locking the enemies out is the only viable option for long runs and it totally serves the objective which is not approaching enemies, but rescuing allies. There were many real-life rescues where people would not run in and start shooting around like crazy alerting everyone. Sometimes it is about avoiding the fight to win in the end. This squad setup and gameplay allowed to finish the mission with extraordinary results and as for this it was a success, no exploits were used. The Warframes were chosen based on their potential for this exact mission, the builds were assigned for their exact role in order to achieve this, we used what DE gave us to be used.

This means more people no-lifing the event, and potential health degradation. This is a very, very poorly made event.

DE is not at fault for people doing long runs. They are not responsible for it either, the players can choose themselves what to do and they are responsible for their health and time by themselves.

  7. I often looked at the In-game Leaderboards of Warframe to compare some statistics and try to maybe beat some of them. Whenever I look at the Trial-Leaderboards though I find them not working properly or not at all and since DE was giving Trials quite some attention in the last few hotfixes and updates I thought it would be appropriate to give feedback on the Trial leaderboarding which is still somewhat broken.

First of all some screenshots and explanation:

    1.

    TGimYh1.jpg

This is the in-game Leaderboard for the regular "The Law of Retribution" trial mission and as you can see it is treated like the endless modes, resulting in the slowest runs being displayed as the top scores. Since the trials are no endless missions though this order makes no real sense and I think it would be a huge improvement if they would be rearranged to display the fastest times on the top.

    2.

    jfUk8yL.jpg

This is the in-game Leaderboard for the "The Law of Retribution (Nightmare)" trial mission and as you can see here there are no recorded runs at all displayed. The Leaderboard for the Nightmare trial is basically completely broken at this point and it would be great if it was added and of course including the aforementioned suggestions to fix the issues which are present with the regular LoR-Leaderboard.

    3.

    3bS9iA5.jpg

This is a screenshot of the basic select-screen for the Trial-Leaderboards. As you can see I edited it to show that the "The Jordas Verdict" trial mission is completely missing and there is no data available for this trial. It would be really great if that trial could be added to the in-game Leaderboards and once again if it included the aforementioned fixes to the issues of the trial-leaderboarding.

    4.

I would suggest the addition of All-time records or best times in addition to the weekly leaderboards. Lately many trial-glitches were fixed which were saving time and for that the times recording on many 3rd party websites are not displaying the real possibilities of the current trial-state anymore. Adding a "all-time best times" tab to the in-game trial leaderboards would give Digital Extremes the influence on that and whenever another time-saving trial-glitch is fixed they could simply reset these in order to have an accurate leaderboarding again. Additionally there could be a search-function to check the latest trial-completion statistics of a certain player similar to how many of the 3rd party sites handle it currently. (example: https://trials.wf/)

In conclusion to these suggestions I can also mention that there are several 3rd party sites who track, record and arrange the completed trial missions in the way of displaying the fastest runs as the top ones, etc. These sites got a lot of attention by the playerbase who enjoys trials because they are way more functional than the in-game leaderboard in its current state and the issue with that is that Digital Extremes has no influence on the 3rd party websites. I think adding a properly functioning in-game leaderboard would vastly reduce the influx to the 3rd party sites and way more people would actually use the in-game leaderboards to monitor their trial runs.

Thank you for your attention and please add your opinion or suggestions in the comments.

Refusing to help get the real issues fixed while complaining about how said issues exist... You can't have your cake and eat it too.

i already submitted multiple bug reports but nothing is happening, for years they keep fixing or changing the things which made or make the game enjoyable for me and at some point there is nothing left to just question the attitude towards raids or speedrunning in general

Fixed being able to complete the puzzle phase of The Law of Retribution by going in and out of Transference to occupy numerous pads.

Thanks for fixing the useful stuff!

Oh, btw JV spawns are breaking on a regular basis still but oh well¯\_(ツ)_/¯

at least i see the devs are working on the right spots there, seems you meant it when you said you will start looking at trials again!

If they attempted to fix it in the past then it was defiantly unintended. Thats reason enough to remove it. Maybe the results were "too" positive?

I am quite sure that it was not intended at first and I am certain that DE can make decisions without stating reasons either since it is their property but something being unintended is no logical reason to remove it if it is benefitting the flow of the game or making parts of it more or less completeable.

The results were definitely not too positive since it was a counter to the not working spawns.

  11. Just now, armedpoop said:

All I can is that it was probably unitended as it was around when the Nidus farm mission came out which was just an altered version of the 1st part of JV, and it didnt work there. Then they fixed it for JV.

They earlier attempted a "fix" for it already earlier, way before Nidus, which turned out to not work so it was still existing and working as before. Additionally even if it was being unintended, that is still no convincing argument for me, since the synergy between these two frames in Jordas Verdict only brought positives.

The removal of this barely changed the meta of JV. It just completely removed Atlas from it. Runs still go just as smoothly with a Vauban Vortexing in the 1st part during decryption and in part 3 during the nerves. The group I run dailies with actually trades out Vauban for Nidus (for fun) on the inside team sometimes.

Sounds like you and your group encountered a very unfortunate bug. Its also really annoying how shooting Jordas before he undocks seems to make him take longer to undock.

JV and LoR both could really use a look over to get some of these issues fixed.

It occurs very frequently for us. Although this is a major issue, not being able to complete the mission I still fail to see a convincing argument why the synergy should have been removed in the first place.

  13. First of all to explain the synergy: Atlas could spawn and kill his Rumblers in order for Nekros to desecrate the remaining rock parts and gain Antiserum Injectors in the Jordas Verdict Trial by that. As of a kind of recent change the desecrated rock parts will no longer drop Antiserum Injectors.

I call this synergy instead of an exploit or a glitch on purpose because it actually made the mission of Jordas Verdict run smooth, bearable and in ofently appearing occassions even possible.

I just did a Jordas Verdict Trial a few minutes ago and unlike announced by a recent hotfix the enemy spawns were not improved at all. The enemies just did not spawn in Stage 3 and there was no way to gain Antiserum Injectors because obviously the only other way than simply killing, being Atlas and Nekros was fixed. Basically the run was impossible to complete, we had to abort the mission and people went offline.

I still completely fail to see a point in removing this way to gain Injectors, it was an alternative to killing enemies non stop as well as being the only way to complete the mission in case the enemy spawns break in which they still do oftenly.

Developer Team for once I ask you to simply go the easy way and bring back this feature. Removing it basically made things way worse in every concern.

    Thank you for reading. #MakeJVGreatAgain

Personally, I don't know anyone who cares about setting a world record speed time in JV.  I do know lots of people who would like to see the raids patched up to be less buggy, though.  It takes a lot of the fun out of the game when you're required to use bug work-arounds for every other attempt.  Even with the recent "fixes", spawns are totally unpredictable, while countless other bugs persist.

JV is the worst mission in the game as far as performance and polish goes and it's no surprise when DE says no one plays it.  The black hole room has been present after the elevator for well over a year...   Who wants to spend hours messing around with an unpolished mission?

yep its right... especially the spawns still bugging is an issue which should have totally been addressed before atlas got nerfed

  15. To bring this thread to live again: I edited the initial post with a nice recording of how fixing the Jordas Verdict succeeded. Please DE... for once go the easy way, listen to the players, especially the ones who raid daily for a long time now and just bring back Atlas.

The video is linked in the main post but here it is too:
