  1. I'm all the way down for reviving teammates but

Allowing the squad to submit tokens in order to build up to 5 would be far better, and the debuff Is actually huge for something you can pick up on accident. It's not really "adding fun challenge" more opening up for grief really as players are just getting stuck with debuffs.

as much as i hate eidolon hunts (but also love them)

i don't want it to pretty much die out due to the only other incentive being in arbies. because let's be honest people are not doing 3-5/3 eidolons for focus (because at that point they prob have what they need maxed)

but then i think.... we need 10 (or 20) of each arcane so im also kind of for this. it really depends on the drop rate.. To be fair i think it should only go in rot C w/ about teh same drop rate as the mods, but that would essentially ruin the drop pool with so many arcanes they would take over the drops..

its hard to please everyone but i think overall arcanes in there would not be good in the long run, I for one want a reason to go back to eidolons as much as i loathe doing them

i loathe content becoming (completly) dead more.

I understand eidelon fights still need an incentive but the system that dictates they're availability is honestly something that I'm surprised made it in to the game it's so bad unless you walk around with your system/console (exaggeration). Idk but being able to grind arcanes on demand would be way more refreshing than most things that are in the works atm.

  3. I am in such support of op's suggestion it's something I thought of my self many of times.

I'm not opposed to new mods being rewards if they were alongside arcanes but here's the thing, within 3 to 5 runs chances are you'll have that mod. And I dont want to be negative Nancy but the chance of these new mods being better then lackluster are slim especially when we have to consider giving up a slot for them.

Arcanes are that thing that's not only really rare to begin with, but you need ten of them for a full set. IMHO it's the perfect reward to go for.

  4. I would absolutely overjoyed if ops suggestion were maid a reality.

Arcanes are really the next step for me to truly grind for as I have most things especially the powerful stuff.

The current clock system of getting arcanes is something I and most players literally dont have time for unless I built my days schedule around the cetus clock system. And even at that point we're at the mercy of rng and a large pool especially when aiming for a set of ten.

Even if they were made to be way more difficult, it would at least get me playing A LOT

  5. So as we've seen many players are frustrated by the proposed login reward changes as they feel it devalues their time spent playing or prestige for a lack of better words. With the opposing opinions stating that simply logging in is not an achievement nor a cause for exclusivity.

I personally get both sides, on one hand long time players wanting something to show for their time put in doesn't necessarily equal them wanting to be elitist, it's just a badge that expresses what they've done. Something they can look back at and take a sense of pride in.  Nothing wrong with that imo.

And on the other hand no, a newer player easily getting something that took me months to earn doesn't diminish my experience. This has been my favorite game for years and I've had a lot of fun with it, and that's the most valuable thing.

BUT this situation shines a light on a bigger issue this very great game has had for a while if you would allow me explain.

In a game with a lot of grind, highlighting dedication is awesome for players, when implemented correctly it can provide a sense of accomplishment and gives new players something to work towards. A clear indicator of that this player is the real Frickin' deal and the slightest bit of bragging rights without some toxic sense of superiority.

but Warframe doesn't really have that. There are shortcuts to a high MR, event badges are small and honestly prime stuff is easy to get (LOOKIN' AT YOU TWITCH PRIME). The closest thing to this is the power you get from having a lot of maxed mods and arcanes but that's more internal it definitely hits the mark practically but I mean something that's visual as well.

And I feel like if DE was better able to provide that "badge of honor" to the players who earned it in a way that was clear to others, something like a login system wouldn't be this big of a deal.

    So I ask you.

How can DE better exemplify the dedication of it's long term player base? would they be  in the form of rewards? how would you earn them?

or is DE doing fine and everyone's just whining.

  6. First and foremost let me acknowledge that DE has truly outdone themselves again and given us a quest worthy of the support I've been giving them for the past five years, Especially being free content.

And any criticism I give is feedback to an A1 company.

So 95% of the quest was awsome, great lore pertaining to Orokin times, a powerful moment of integrating with umbra and the reveal of lotus in her sentient form witch was huge.

But... the ending could have been better. Due to the fact that not much has changed, Im really just left with a cliffhanger.

Oh, and its gonna be another year of simulated lotus witch I'm not excited for.

    Like really not excited for.

It could just be my preference, but I would like DE to know that two cliffhangers in a row is very close to disappointing, honestly I was hoping DE was fooling us and bringing the last part of the quest in a hotfix.

But it's good to see that a lot of players liked the quest.

BUT THAT'S JUST ME. What were your feelings after completing it?

  7. Honestly the only things that DE has done to cater to new players while discrediting vets are the twitch drops, and the PROPOSED rework of the daily login system,

I don't agree with either, but it's not world ending.

Take the arcane system: they're sure as hell not giving them away for free just making them more accessible. Because I'm sure there a lot of seasoned players who never cared about arcanes but now see them as worth grinding for, which is a good thing imo

  8. Op, i see where your coming from and its unfortunate you've had bad co op experiences, it seems like most players always get put with bad teams.

really can't say the same with pugs or random groups on sorties even with everyone choosing thier own gear (witch should very much be preserved) people know what to do with the occasional res missions get completed and thats it

And i feel like thats what warframes co op is intended to be, not necessarily everyone being in formation but just the presence of another player doing thier thing helps you do your thing but such freelance has its downsides

Im definitely down for de to incentivise more teamwork but requiring specific roles that a player may not want and shouldn't be forced to play is a no no imo

  9. Both both both,

But if ur wondering witch to build first I would say the Aklex, great power and range obviously, I imothe only downside is that reload speed at 3 seconds. The euphona prime is extremely powerful though and aiming with the slug round is actually great fun.
