  1.  my advice would be invest in more defensive and cc centred frames like Nova witch you have or even Equinox witch can deal damage and stay alive.

Also head to YouTube for builds to get ideas from if you haven't already and find a clan or play on public more because even after eris higher level grineer or corpus interception, defense etc get annoying solo

  2. It's catching a lot of flack but IMO Its a step in the right direction,  lve always loved ash but never relied on bladestorm until tonight where I gave it an active try along with alot of smokescreen and melee

It kicked a$$  in sorties solo and on a team and was fun in a way to try something new that took player participation I just know they can do much better and should keep working on it

I feel like a few people are misunderstanding a few things about my post

    A. Im not leaving, i even said it in the post.

    B. Im not saying that the game is going to S#&$, it just feels like its hit the peak of its lifeline "and iv had everything iv wanted for the majority of my time on WF"

    C. Im not saying they should start working on another game, im just suggesting that they should set some ideas aside so when this game does go they will have something new to and brilliant to work on. "which i still feel is a very far time from now, like 4 more years maby"

Hopefully this clears some misunderstandings about what i meant.

I would consider re-titling the thread if ^this is you're actually message, it sounds like a "WF is dead" thread

I would've like the hint that you will be playing with your operator, so I can restyle her a bit and choose a more appropiate frame (rhino with girl voice just sounds bad).

De's staff and many of the warframe youtubers did a lot to hint that we'd be playing as the operator with the "get prepared for the war within" vids but they obviously could have done better if some players still didn't know

I really liked the bone  worm part, it took some retries but I really got an up the creek without a paddle feeling witch was really unexpected.

  5. 1. I  have done all raids yes

    2. There was a short time when my clan would raid almost nightly but definitely  not recently

    3. It's hard for players to find a group willing to show them the ropes outside of doing it with players you know, and even though are arcanes are awsome, players most likely don't think it worth the time to learn the mechanics for 1 reward at a time

  6. no warframe is not dying...... and not trying to be mean but tabloid style panic from both warframe's players and youtubers should show DE why breaking up the big updates ultimately ended up being a very bad Idea.

    my thoughts on why

    Spoiler

This (imo) is because Warframe is the type of game that is at it's most marketable when players both old an new are having a very active experience with the game witch comes from getting what feels like a lot of new stuff from the developers like new gear, systems and changes to WF overall that give it that fresh feeling.

And Huge, multifaceted updates carry ^this type of impact to the max because there's so much to it, I can imagine many players having the satisfaction of "cool, I'm going to have a lot to do for a while"

With this, ur dedicated players are playing as they always do, and the sometimes players are present as well to experience whats new and again having alot of "whats new" at once carries this way better.

Now lets look at some of the things that have changed about warframe since the last big update (the second dream) -the new star chart, fusion system, frame reworks, new frames, kavats and a WF sport mode just to name whats happened this past summer.

Now, these type of things seem like they would give warframe's playerbase that same type of impact and would atleast keep us semi- occupied until the War Within. But since they were released so spread out, players were able to get used to (and in some cases bored of) each of these things one at a time, leading to the small bursts of content contributing to the wait for a new big update when all that stuff itself could have been one.

and with extended wait, ur sometimes players are nowhere to be found and even a portion of the dedicated playerbase is also on break some of those players being the ones who helped WF gain the popularity it now has. all this leads to "OHMAhGawD warframe is dying"

  7. Correct me if im wrong but if you check the recent dev streams steve talks about the lore end of the fusion change involving players going out and finding compartments involving fusion to put in your ship

Could obviously change but it'd be pretty cool

  8.

How many hours are in your profile? 1,169 Hours in the profile but steam adds about a thousand more.

Have you taken any long periods of breaks, and if so, how long and why? Nothing intentional, Maybe a week has been the longest, I normally get on everyday.

When did you start playing warframe? August 2013

How many clans in warframe have you been apart of? 2, The first one I was the only one who was ever on so I joined a slightly larger, more active one.

Were you apart of leadership in any of those clans? Never been a warlord, but in my current clan Im higher ranked and help out everyone I can

If so, aside from direct clan problems, how has the development of the game affected the members? Most are uneasy about the new void system

Have your views changed over the years? I used to stick to frames that fitted a certain style, now I'm down for all frames

If so was it due to the community, or in game experiences? In game, I strive to be a “capable of anything” tenno so seeing all frames in action played a hand in giving me that idea

Were you an avid viver/draco player? Hardly touched the stand in one spot style but if I was on limited booster time and I want to multi-forma something in one sitting I would do the 4 waves freestyle just running around (im glad it's gone now)

What is your favorite game mode, and what is your favorite part of the game? Survival, I guess I also like spy and rescue.

What is your least favorite? Interception

Do you prefer to play with clan members or public games? I prefer clan mates but a lot of the times people have their own things they want to do we'll talk to each other on the clan tab while in public games

What level missions are you most comfortable with without needing a team of super specific loadouts? All, with the exception being high level defense, I'm going to bring what I want so you (squadmates) are welcome to do the same

Do you still have many things to complete/collect in the game? In terms of gear kind of, Looking forward to additions to the storyline/lore universe

What is your opinion on pvp/dark sectors? It was fun but consumed all the game's attention during the alliance wars, hopefully less drama with it's return

Have Youtubers been a large influence or source of your knowledge about the game? Yes, very much so and warframe's wiki top notch

Do you consider yourself a casual, heavy, or hardcore gamer? Definitely heavy-hardcore, this is my favorite game, and I play like I mean it

What is your background in gaming in general? (ie: fps, mmorpg, strategy, etc etc) 3rd person story games (metal gear, assasin's creed, Deus ex) and sports games. Warframe was my first online experience

Compared to other communities in other games, how does warframe compare? Very witty and disciplined, love it

What keeps you playing the game? Experiencing the Beautiful story (and being part of it) building a powerful arsenal, live events, improving my skills, just growing as a gamer with a growing game.

What do you hope for long term in future updates? More immersive content but not through the vessel of grind and RNG

What things would you like to see given attention in the near future? Ash's bladestorm (I know it's on deck for a change), the focus system and sortie rewards

Without going into too many details, what are you opinions on any experiences with Warframe Support? I only needed them once for auto failing a void interception after an hour of playing it but there was not much they could do, no biggie.

Overall, what is your view of Warframe and its business model? Still better then any online game's that I've seen. I've been able to do everything I've wanted and only paid when I chose to barring equipment slots
