Atomos with the pistol reach mod is like, whole entire corridors die. I also like the Catchmoon, but that took some time and investment to get the parts. The Synoid Gammacor is also great with mobs, but takes a little mod investment. And lastly the Mara Detron with 100% status and the Detron mod is really, really good.

See, I've been testing this against level 110 enemies in the simulacrum. I have a 190 range and 200 (with Growing Power activated) power strength. Against corrupted heavy gunners it takes a long time to kill them outright, and Miasma doesn't nuke them. In an early mission with lower enemy levels Saryn is truly OP. But around 100 she starts to fall off hard, having the player rely on weapons/statuses/cc.
TLDR Saryn is indeed OP in earlier levels, but she does not pack quite as hard of a punch once the enemies get higher in level.
It's just too bad that truly difficult enemies only appear long past the average player's exit, and other than for your own enjoyment there really is no reason to stay that long. The problem isn't from Saryn, it's from not having hard enough content/enemies.
Also, she's not very good in Open Worlds.

Well... They could buff the mote amp or let you gild it… or... give you the parts to a level 1 amp (maybe through an Operator-oriented quest), which is still soooo much better than the mote. I hate the mote amp.
But right now it's all I've got. I need to do more Fortuna bounties to get to Vox Solaris. It seems much faster than ranking with the Quills for comparable equipment. And, you know, less frustrating for those of us on Switch. I've read a lot of complaints of crashing and just poor times being had against Eidolans.

If it's possible for a weapon to be a Mary Sue, Ignis Wraith is it.
This is probably the funniest thing I've read today. Bravo!
You're totally correct in your critique...
But I wouldn't want the Ignis gone.

as for the echoes of umbra thing... I like the idea, but I was hoping for a reveal on the next nightwave that forma'ing the same frame with 3 umbra forma would give it the Umbra passive... oh well, another missed opportunity, I guess.

Very cool ideas, folks. Thanks for the help! You've definitely given me things to think about and farm for.

I wouldn't mind seeing Arcanes get another source for dropping other than Eidolans. I hear that not too long ago when there were Raids (or whatever they were called) that Arcanes were in the reward pool. I was surprised that the Arbitration reward 'rework' didn't add them in.
Arcanes are definitely not entirely necessary to the game but it would be nice to have more choices for the grind other than just Eidolans or Platinum. For all intents and purposes Arcanes are "end-game" items... so it would be interesting to see more end-game players having them- Hek, you can get to the end game before your first 100 days.
Also, no one wants to pay 1200 platinum for a doodad. People love getting the plat for them, and that shouldn't stop... but like everything in an economy dictated by the 'producers' there is a definite inflation. But whatever. Let the people play, is what I say.
EDIT: Trials! They were called Trials!

Depends on how energy hungry your frame is built and how you kill enemies.
For a Saryn who kills through walls, it won't be very good. For a Mesa who kills with line of sight, it can help you keep up peacemakers longer. Slow down dethcube fire rate so it's not dumping ammo and reloading all the time. Add punchthrough and gas so it can hit more enemies.
Very interesting. Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure who I am going to use it on but I am looking for an additional energy source for various frames. Hadn't considered Mesa because I've been using a Crittycat (Adarza Kavat) because it will also make Peacemakers hit with higher crit levels, I often get Orange and every now and then a Red.

With the advent of our own miniature Borg ship on the near horizon I heard some rumbling about folks using Dethcube with the Energy Generator mod from Simaris in order to get energy back in the days before Zenurik and Arcane Energize. Is this still a viable strategy? Or is the single energy per 10 enemies just not worth it anymore?

I'd do Saryn for sure because she's my favorite frame. Oberon is really good, too, and can be used across a much larger variety of the content than Saryn. I also really like Valcitty, too, but you need some mods to make her really good. As for Nyx, her playstyle just didn't jibe for me, but there are tons of people who swear by some of her combos. Either way, have fun.

Honestly the side-effect such a mod would have for Peacemakers leads me to believe that folks will be as salty about Mesa as they are currently about Saryn.

My favorite thing is the movement. It's the best feeling and most beautiful way to negotiate a 3d space. I also really like having a large amount of community-made cosmetics that, should I buy them, help support those artists.
there are a couple of things I do not like. but those things are easy to forget about when measured against everything else. I do wish we had an endgame that had commiserate rewards.
My other complaint is my IRL friends won't play it because it just doesn't resonate with them. C'est la vie, I guess.

when Grendel gets here your lich could scoop people up inside of them. That would be interesting. What would it be like to be inside an enemy? Will you even be able to get out?
-
I've been playing a lot of Everspace and Dragon's Dogma. Waiting for October 15th to get Witcher 3. Still log in everyday, but I don't always do missions. I will tonight because I've got a few weapons to forma.

Thanks for all the work on this port, guys. Cheers to DE and Panic Button!

From what I learned you absolutely must have only one account of warframe attached to Twitch otherwise you won't get drops at all. It also has been in the recent news that the Twitch drops for Warframe are currently broken and being fixed- this could be the issue as well.

Your Mom Prime was super easy to get.
Kidding aside whatever the newest Prime to come out seems to be the easiest to farm. -
no it would be already counted. Too bad you can't gift built unranked primes to friends. as it is all you can really do is have two saryn forma'd differently or sell one for credits. but selling primes just feels bad.

When I use Hek in the Index I also bring a Mesa with radiation-based peacemakers as the Hek is primarily puncture and the Index enemies are weak to impact. The Strun Wraith or Boar Prime work well and can be 100% status chance very easily and are impact-based. For my Index Vaykor Hek build (This will also work with regular Hek):
Primed Point Blank, Primed Ravage, Primed Charged Shell, Blaze, Blunderbuss, Hell's Chamber, Hunter Munitions, Crit Change/Damage Riven (This can be Scattered Justice on the regular Hek and vigilante armaments/laser sight on the Vaykor.)
Have fun blasting Corpus fools!

Zaw I use the most:
Plauge Keewar
Plague Bowkin
Ekawana Jai-II or II Jai, unsure.
CO, 100 percent status, healing stick. Works great on Saryn.
Name: Regret
Zaw I love the most:
Mewann
Schtung
Crit Link (bad at remembering my links, lol)
Name: Mewanna Cut Ya!

I am nearsighted. Not so much as to differently-abled, but I've often thought that a way to change the color of the reticule to make it more obvious would work well and be easy to implement.

God I am super sorry. I will crash only once in a great while. I play with a fan on my Switch to help keep it cool. Maybe something similar would work for you. It just doesn't make sense that your copy would crash much more often than mine, and I play a lot. Have you tried redownloading the game? Maybe you've a corrupted copy or something, or perhaps your internet is throttled. I have had a very few instances of the game crashing, but usually that was only after 8 hours of near-constant play. My crashes are random, and there seems to be no real thread to them. I've crashed loading in, on an open world and once in the middle of a Mot survival at 45 minutes. And maybe once in the new disruption mode. Like I've said it happens so rarely that I don't really pay much attention to it when it does.

It does take awhile, and then sometimes you get lucky. When I farmed Holy RelI was also looking for Maniacs for Ash, so if you were to "two birds, one stone" it, you can end up with two pretty good friends.
