  1. Late to the party, but being a fan of Ivara (lots of hours both with Ivara and Ivara Prime), here's my two cents, points brilliantly covered by others as well:

For babysitting, max out duration and range, no need for power strength. Spam Cloak at the defence target and/or your camping location, which provides status immunity with Empowered Quiver. Sleep for incoming enemies that get too close or too dangerous, Noise to group them to a far away point and decimate them with AOE weapons.

Energy Siphon, Zenurik dash and energy pads work on Ivara while under Cloak, so you could replenish energy while managing the battlefield.

Another tactic is to Dashwire at a high point somewhere relatively protected, camp, then manage enemies with Sleep and Noise. Like above, something like a Sniper rifle, a Bramma, Lenz, Acceltra etc are great for murdering paralysed or distracted enemies.

The only issue is buffing and healing Defense objects. I solve that with a Corrupt Charge Sancti Magistar. Pop a couple of Cloak/Sleep arrows around the defence target, heavy bash everyone in the vicinity and carry on business as usual.

I also use Vitality or Prime Vigor, as not sweating over Strength frees up mod space. I also find Mobilize to be excellent on Ivara in general.

  2. I'd say that someone who does 99% of damage,  if it's clearly an effort or gear imbalance issue.

For the effort part, it's unfair to the person doing the work. If it's obvious that people are on purpose useless (standing there, no support skills, energy pads, etc), I just leave and not bother anymore. I only report people being toxic, the afk people can enjoy dying alone after everyone ditched them at the end of the round.

For gear imbalance, the geared up player know they are dominating the field, so it's up to the lower geared people to stick around for the affinity or leave.

  3. Modular frames, with the four abilities and passive locked behind respective components. The community will be elated and horrified; My own personal frame to suit my playstyle, or a swarm of identical frames that follow the established meta? Voices will call for the ability to customise appearance and abilities independently. DE will respond with the Primest of Primes grindfest, with RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG for the parts and standing with the new faction: Void Raiders.

Void Raiders have travelled the void searching leftovers of Orokin labs, they are suspected as the source to Baro's bazaar, but he's just a frontman for financing their excursions. They have finally understood how to bring forgotten Orokin facilities to life and now, they offer Tenno the chance to build their perfect instrument of destruction, all for the right price.

Cosmetics will glitch the crap out, all movesets will be identical, the options will be limited and all will be preceded by a glorious cinematic trailer, which will be the stuff of forum speculation for the 3 years between that and the official launch 3 years later.

Brace yourself for grinding, plat profiteering, nerfing, elitism and RNG sponsored psychoabuse. All worth it for the perfect moment where you felt like a true pew pew space ninja against the (reworked again) corrupted horse,  for that perfect captura shot worth of 1k upvotes in Reddit.

  4. Nezha can easily be taken at sorties. His 4 and 2 combine to crowd control and debuff enemies, his 3 provides a ton of survivability, his 1 sets enemies on fire and his passive allows for quick navigation.

Not a team player really, but can hold its own easily.

  5. A tank frame: Nezha from Clan research is a more fun tanky frame. Not as team orientated as Rhino, but a lot more engaging and fast overall

A spy frame: Ivara Prime is easier to farm through Relics/Trading, way before accessing the Hyena pack

    A defence frame:

A nuking frame: Ember, Mirage Prime, Mesa Prime

    A support: Oberon

Friendly Weapons: Atomos/Hek already mentioned, maybe normal Ignis, Lenz?

Hi guys, i'm new at this game (100 hours, 55 in this account).

I am MR6, i have Rhino with a decent build and a Hek with a rlly S#&$ty build (with wich i feel very uncomfortable, 2 shots to kill an enemy and 2 secs to reload), and i am at Sedna. I am just rushing every mission with my Broken War (rlly op), but i just stopped rushing bc there are 40+ lvl enemies, and i can't just survive 5 minutes. What should i do? I'm trying to get mods, for my hek (like scattered justice and blaze, which are very difficult to get) and also for my boltor, but i have no luck. In my last 15 hours playing, i just got Hell's Chamber. So:

Should i keep farming mods, or should i try to complete every node that i can, and then start farming?

I used Hek a lot when doing my first round of starchart. If you are on PC, hit me up sometime, I could get you the +multishot syndicate mod for Hek. Potatoed and Formad it can be very decent,  even without the Primed mods.

  7. When a Health Conversion stack is active, does reloading the Hema consume that stack?

I'm currently grinding mutagen for Hema, with the goal of creating a Health Conversion Index build for Rhino.

The idea is to force Health Orb consumption with Hema, charge once with max strength and Ironclad. At the moment I can't exploit things like Arcane Tanker, so thought of playing around with Health Conversion.

  8. That was my understanding too. Has the armor scaling workout resulted in armor far easier to strip than before?

I was wondering if going for something like +element +fire rate be more interesting, coupling it with speed trigger for meme speed.

Btw I'm using the Lanka as it's the riven I got, I only want to bother with one sniper and not in the mood of haggling in trade chat for months.

  9. Sequencing foundry items - ok I'll accept the parody of days of building,  can I at least set 5 Forma to be build, instead of 1 at a time?

Random mission generator - lets you choose your own mission type/enemy/conditions. A reward table with common to rare rewards is available corresponding to difficulty modifiers.

As mentioned countless times before, a sandbox simulacrum, where all guns & mods are available. Let me get a feel of the weapon/frame and its potential.

Fellow Tenno.  This has been pretty much my default loadout since I when I realized I didn't need the Rakta Cernos with Ivara a long time ago.  I was using Venka primes until the Amalgam Target Acquired came out, then switched to Skaijati.   Just pair with a complimentary secondary with faster fire rate and you're pretty much good to solo almost everything in the game.

Quite right! Atomos with Suppress has been part of that loadout.

  11. Currently using a loadout of Target Aquired Daikyu +Nikana Prime with Ivara Prime. Artemis Bow for skewering hordes, Nikana for close quarters butchering while keeping Health up and Daikyu when I feel like going invisible and picking targets one by one.

It's not the most tankish or fast or DPS or meta build, but it makes the game fun for me.

Yeah, the Lanka is a very good weapon for dealing damage to high-priority targets. It's one of my main weapons on Mag due to its synergy with Magnetize, but even on other frames, it hits very hard. I used it a ton in Scarlet Spear for Condrix killing. A good Lanka build will kill most non-sentient enemies in one hit. Of course, it is a projectile weapon with a charge time, so its damage is balanced out a bit by the inconvenience of using it.

It also works well with Heavy Caliber when scoped in, if you want to build it up for raw damage/crit for things like Venom Dose builds.

Is Heavy Caliber not throwing off the shots? I have only used it on Ignis Wraith

  13. Is Lanka good for anything outside Eidolon hunts?

I finished building Rubico Prime which I enjoy as a weapon. I also got a Lanka Riven so in theory I could roll it and turn Lanka into an all around better option. Is it possible to use Lanka as the "daily" sniper rifle?

broken war - the only stat's that are worth it with it's dispo are damage+ range(damage for the liches, because crit comes from BR and CO gives way more than any other damage mod to enemies susceptible to status) and range, because range is always good on any melee.
(your riven is good, imo don't roll it anymore, you can build CO, BR, berserker, oragan shatter(moar crit damage), corrosive(two 60/60), prime reach/reach and fire/damage from your riven and it will destroy all of the content).

the lenz - the stats are perfect, except the reload speed...it kinda hurts the lenz.(multishot is great, yes! and the cold is perfect for viral)
(if you don't want it I'm open to take it off your hands 😄 )

    Necroing the thread cause updates:

Finally hit MR14, having 3 guaranteed arrows with Lenz is godly,  the reload speed penalty doesn't seem to be an issue with vile acceleration on.

Re-rolled the Broken War to oblivion until I got +220% damage +110 cold, now it finally feels good using it.

    It does, easily.

It takes longer than most other melee weapons, but that's not the reason you bring a Sancti Magistar, you bring it to heal everything in a large radius. I do not recommend that Riven, as the healing given seems to be exponential as opposed to multiplicative with combo count. While I don't currently have the most optimal riven, my riven has range which is the most useful stat for Sancti Magistar to increase the combo gained against groups and the healing range. The most optimal riven possible gives Range, Base Damage, and either Combo Count or Combo efficiency. With combo efficiency, you add something like True Punishment to the build and gain combo extremely quickly, and get the ability to give over 100k healing multiple times while having a melee that's effective against enemies with light attacks.

And, yes. It does heal that much at maximum combo, this was painstakingly tested with many defense objectives at near no health with a single heavy attack at max combo with mainly the same build (the riven had a combo duration negative with slightly more range)

You were right,  that riven was meh. I've re-rolled into a +damage+electricity+toxin which caused sancti magistar to hit like a truck. With just x2 combo, it provides at least 10k health per swing. I'm content.
