Seriously though, you have to admit that they are quite useful on wave 30+ in T4. For how many times I've done it, I hardly see it as easy mode now. I've got nothing to prove to anyone at this point. Might as well use them. I mean, they are literally right there.

I did say it doesn't have to be a full feature, you don't need a bunch of characters, toss aside the diffulculty of the work and understand how great this would be. If people continue to flaw ideas using realistic approaches, then nothing good will ever be accomplished.
A 2D platform fighting minigame would be interesting for warframe because it just fixes into the subject so well, I never said anything about the diffulculty of making it did I? I only asked and shared the idea of making such a thing, you don't have to be a stickler or stingy about how you make something, thats just making work diffulcult. Plus if you have seen in smash bros recently, they made ryu into DLC for the game, and he works very nicely, transforming his traditional style into a new one, or look at nintendo's collaboration with tekken, they are making the new pokken tournament game, its not many characters, but the function mechanic and style is very nice.
I think it can be very possible for Digital extremes and another fighting game developer to collaborate and implement this idea, it would spawn good interest into warframe as well as promote fusion gaming(fusing different game genres together).
So, if you still think that it is impossible to make a warframe 2D fighting game, then you can take your scoll out the door, because I didn't post this concept to hear your complaint on why or why not this is impossible, I came to share a concept that gives off the general imaginative idea that could spawn wide interest.
You are adressing nothing to the post ive said, what ive said is that DE should WORK on the game, instead of wasting resources and time in something that nobody asked for, your post is just an idea that DE will NEVER take into consideration.
its not that Fighting games are imposible to make, even Smash Bros and Pokken Tournament need time to balance every nook and cranny they can, its like if (just as you said) Ryu came out and he was completely op because nintendo didnt have time to balance him, its the same here, DE has A LOT to do with the base game (Like Bug-Fixes, new Frames, new weapons, actual game content) instead of wasting time in something like a mediocre Fighting game that will be probably forgotten in about 2 weeks, like flappy zephyr and Wyrmius.
You want a warframe fighting game? make your own, start a fan-game like the dude that is making Retro Warframe

I never mentioned this was going to be a full feature, but fan projects like dark sectors are fine, but I feel DE could make a very good job out of this since they personally would know how their warframes would represent 2D fighting style wise.
But as a fan-project, similar to CTGP in mario kart wii, or project M in smash bros, this would be good as well, just the problem is that it would take a very long time since a small group would have to try and reinvent a game into a new way, instead DE has many workers and can get this done in a few months just like flappy zephyr or the reworked conclave, or wyrmius.
I'd expect that from a grizzly since their hands are too large to press on a keyboard
Wyrmius and Flappy Zephyr were just inside jokes that happened to be Easter Eggs release later for us to play, they took 0 effor to make since they already had all the assets, making a "2.5D Fighting Game" would mean balancing every frame, every ability, every combo and every animation for it to actually work
Long story short, no, we will never get something as a "Fighting Minigame" in warframe, do you know how hard is to make a single fighting character?

its definitely spectacular! Sure its a skin, but to imagine warframes on a 2D platform waging it out on melee, and pure combos rather than cheap techniques, mods, and powers or stats is wayyy better than our current conclave!
in a way, i like the concept, but more like a Fan-Project of Sorts, not a full-fledged feature on the next Update
Also, Conclave is alright
