  1. Same. I think people don't do the post-mission farm BECAUSE it's boring.

New or Experienced, I'd rather rinse the mission on repeat and get the 1500 Copernics reward than trying to fill up the forge @ 200 per cycle... but if there were drones to bump up the forge cycling, then it would be worth hanging around post mission as the Devs seem to have intended. Normally, I'm at one end of the map and I don't seem to bother going to the other end of the asteroid belt any more. It's a shame because they're awesome graphics and a lot of effort went into it... and I don't use it.

  2. On the mobile phone app, we can send out extractors to reap small quantities of resources while we're away from the main game.

In the Railjack, I'd like to see those extractors equipped and strapped to the internal walls somewhere near the Foundry or Reliquary; when we're inside the railjack mission, we could opt to send out either 1 or 4 extractors to seek and harvest drops, crates and micro-asteroids with a basic secondary-type weapon and vacuum, then return resources to the Railjack. They'd also be vulnerable to enemy fire, so there's some risk.

This idea would make use of our current ability to make as many excavators as we like, and restock the drones in the Railjack in Drydock, because there's the risk of losing the extractors during a mission and we'd have to make more to replace them. The excavators being present in a Railjack mission help to farm more resources faster. I want this idea implemented because most players I know find post-mission farming extra grind deadly boring, so I think the assistance from drones like these might add an element of thrill even if it's a weak one. Remember, even if a mission is over, there's still a chance of getting hit by cannon batteries scattered amongst the asteroids and ramsleds deploying as we pass by a facility, so the extractors would still be at risk (and much greater risk than we are, as they would be much weaker with much less armour, shield and health). We'd still have to escort the drones with our Railjack or Archwing to make sure they stay alive as they work. If they get hit twice by an enemy, however weak the enemy's offence might be, the extractor would pop and we'd lose any resources it might be carrying as well as the extractor. This risk is the price we'd pay for automated drone assistance during post-mission farming.

Also, if you're nuts enough, you should be able to deploy the extractor drones during mission too! Of course, two hits and they would still pop, but if you want to try defending one as it works while trying to complete a mission, go ahead. Doing this during a Veil, Saturn or Earth Proxima mission might be a fun toy for some of you out there. I guess, in theory, the extracted resources might be of higher value or quantities while doing this during mission as a measure of risk vs. reward? 🙂

    What do you think?

  3. I removed Conic Nozzle because I didn't feel I was getting that much grunt out of it during battle; cruising speed is so much better when farming after completing objectives.

I've tried Void Cloak and while nice in theory, it felt just as much as a gimick as Phoenix Fire... looks and feels nice to use it, but doesn't really do 'much.' Also, I'm going slow during battle as it is, I don't need Void Cloak slowing me down further. The only time I might use it is while I'm nipping down to the forge for more Dome Charges if RNG is particularly nasty to me, but that's rare and I can usually zip behind an asteroid for the time necessary to do it.

While I do prefer having Lavan stuff and enjoy having a max valence reactor, I agree that Zetki and Vidar have qualities I haven't explored yet. Also, they haven't dropped into my lap yet. I only just got 2 Vidar III reactors drop last night; one is repairing now while the other will be valenced soon. As for the weapons, it's kinda the same story. I've focused on Lavan and the other stuff didn't drop yet.

Anyway, this topic isn't titled 'I've finished the game' but 'I've reached another milestone.' I've got miles to go yet. 🙂

While I defend my current playstyle as 'one that works and feels comfy for now' I say Thanks for the breakdown and criticism at least.

I'd throw your setup in my lavan toilets. Try putting your gameplay tips on Reddit, you will get constructive feedbacks that get community vetted. I think you did everything wrong but it's just an opinion.

It works, though, and feels quite efficient for 'me.' It's just a different playstyle than what You might prefer and that's what is most important.

i know. I liked lavan more. Good reactor, good engine, good weapons...

The best engines/weapons is vidar but lavan is hibrid and if i remember has less heat effect for weapons...

Exactly. A lot of people like to build their games so that they can do the most damage in as little time as possible.

I build my Warframes and my Railjack to do more damage if I just take my time and enjoy the surroundings, the sound effects, the immersion, etc. If I make a speed build for anything, I kinda noticed that I'm not really noticing anything other than if 'all' my numbers are red.

I've built my RJ like a truck. It's slow but it can deliver the big hits while taking the big hits and gets there 'eventually.' If others can get done in the quarter of the time I take or less, kudos to them and their playstyles! 🙂

Is there a nice way to share my RJ setup like I can with Weapon or Warframe mod builds? I cannot seem to find such a button in the avionics screen yet.

  6. I just completed rank 10 Tactical for Railjack Intrinsics, rank 8 on the others (roughly 330 missions left to go for those!).

I have a fully valenced Lavan III setup. Reactor, Shields, Engines, Apoc and Pulsar.

Working on Lavan III Photor next while having a cheeky poke at a Vidar III Reactor (just out of curiosity).

My railjack is built like a truck, basically. It's slow but with a certain impending doom and I found I can solo the Murex alert if I take my time. For crewships, I fire a Tyco Seeker III missile then quickly jump into Artillery to finish it off, zoom to where the crewship used to be, turn around and fire a Tether at the fighters, shoot the munitions bubbles with the Pulsar and repeat the process. I found that after the third crewship, I usually have time to nip down to the forge to make more Dome Charges and Flux if necessary.

I've found Artillery Cheap Shot to be an excellent boon for this tactic; I've sometimes retained an average of 4/5 Dome Charges after the main fight is completed.

After the main fight, I treat any Galleon Captains or generic facility like a Kuva Lich; I adopt the Madurai operator set and blind enemies before going critical with my Atlas Prime, his Titanic Rumbler and full Paracesis.

The Murex seems positively child's play after all this; just pepperpot the sentients with operator amp and Paracesis and I'm fine.

I've got to say a big thank you to DE for all the stunning backdrops in space AND inside the Murex itself in 4k... truly mesmerising and thoroughly enjoyable during battle.

Was the grind worth it? Yes, yes it was. Am I going to keep going? Yes, for certain.

    Thank you again. 🙂

  7. They basically made the Arbiters of Hexis useless, too, with the gas nerf.

    https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Truth

I'm thinking they wanted to make Infested stronger against us. Infested use gas damage a LOT and you've probably seen how a team of Tenno can drop like flies once a cloud is unleashed. Corpus wear respirators and helmets and tend to be synthetic while any organics are locked away with hematic seals... Grineer should be incredibly vulnerable, especially if the gas might contain a nerve agent.

I'm thinking this might all be a setup getting ready for the new Infested version of Plains of Eidolon and a knee-jerk reaction to the cries for harder content.

  8. On the Xbox, my friends and I have found that after a slingshot use, we cannot use abilities or operator or gunnery or pilot or foundry or slingshot or airlocks or self-revive! We're trapped inside the railjack. We have to wait for a ramsled boarding party to kill the bugged player fully; a new life will reset the bug.

  9. I'm using Lupal Pass in Saturn Proxima to farm copernics. I need a lot for Valence Fusion of Lavan parts and just wondered which node in the RJ star chat you guys farm on for best results?

I usually just speed-run the mission for the ~1500 Copernics reward rather than farm the asteroids themselves. I'll farm them a little bit if RNG said 'no' though. I'd stick to Earth Proxima for faster runs but I want Intrinsics too.

If I have friends who know what they're doing, we speed through the Murex alert as often as we can until someone screams from boredom. XD

    Am I doing it right?

  10. Hello, had the bug happen again today.

For some inexplicable reason, I get off the gunnery or slingshot or pilot position and suddenly I cannot use operator or use gunnery, slingshot, exits, foundry or pilot positions anymore. The only way out is to die - self revive does not even work either. You have to die to 'reset' the character interactions.

it's by me, so of course it's a good idea =P

"today's forecast, we have sightings of Corpus Fighters around Jupiter, taking to the atmosphere in category 9.5 Hydrogen Storms, let's hope they don't crash! Void fissures are predicted for southern Mars and Phobos but they're totally random and terrifying, so who even knows! Warm spells are expected for Pluto, reaching a record high of -80 degrees Celsius! current infetation peak activity is at Eris (as usual), Neptune and Saturn, so if you're travelling to these locations keep that heat sword handy! that concludes our weather report, over to our brand new political correspondent and retired Grineer Lich Warrior/Tenno slayer, Magg Ba'dur.."

You might want to ask DE for an interview.

Why retirement/replacement when you can just add channels for new personalities? Like more syndicate use.

Could be a whole resistance series with a Steel Meridian DJ being new to the idea.

And Nora would be back for a mystery series later.

A bit like GTAonline? Sounds good.

  13. I think the Nora Nightwave aspect is due a replacement. Instead, I'd like to see a news service similar to a drivetime segment on FM car stereos. I make this suggestion based on a post by robotwars7... but something said in jest could actually be a good idea.

"and now over to Derf Anyo for the weather forecast!

"well, space is still freezing and dark as always,. but we'll be seeing some torrential Acid rain across the western region of Ceres Alpha, and if you're on Pluto, pack your snow helmet because there's a category 4 blizzard moving in on the Acheron front. Infested levels currently remain at a low level but as always, travelling to Dark Sectors is ill-advised. oh, just getting reports of another outbreak! that's the infested for you! over to Cephalon Sark now for the Sports news.."

It might be a good excuse for a fresh voice actor, scripts and a.i. programming too. A news report according to fomorian status or ghouls in PoE, weather report according to magnetic anomalies on Mars or wherever that actually affect our fights, travel advice for railjack destinations... I wouldn't mind travelling from planet to planet in my orbiters for RNG to determine if I have to fight off a spectre in my orbiter en-route... maybe the Corpus implement toll routes that create 'traffic jams' ... lots of scope for new possibilities.

I wouldn't mind the traditional news anchor, travel reporter and weather presenter banter, either. Some new jokes would be nice. 😉

  14. Be social and ask for help. Teamwork is key. You don't need to solo everything.

There's always somebody who has a lich you can help murmur farm for. There's always someone needing Eidolon Shards. There's always someone needing a few more copernics for their railjack stuff. Jump aboard and help them, they'll help you in return.
