  1. My preferred secondary weapon is a Gaze, Ramflare, Ramble kitgun. (Ramble because the model has more visually interesting geometry than Gibber.) It's a status-generating beast, especially with Seeker (for punchthrough), Barrel Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, and Anemic Agility (for fire rate). Coupled with the battery recharge arcane, ammo efficiency kindly shows itself out and never bothers me.

But I also have a Riven on it - a riven which yields +status chance, +cold damage, and +heat damage. I have rolled that riven 33 times. This is the exact polar opposite of a trivial investment in effort & resources.

Previously, I could sweep the beam through a dozen level-200 Grineer Bombards and Napalms, generate a functionally limitless stream of blast procs, and knock all of them down.

Now, sweeping the beam through a dozen level-200 Grineer Bombards and Napalms yields exactly as many blast procs. But making the enemy less accurate is a lot less useful than knocking them over. My whole build has to be rethought (I'm aiming for electricity procs now), and the riven I've rolled 33 times? It's now garbage, so useless that I've uninstalled it from the gun.

To reiterate: Making the enemy less accurate is a lot less useful than knocking them over.

It would be nice if players could access riven history upon any re-roll. Instead of simply selecting between two options upon rolling a riven, how about letting players select between the newly rolled configuration, or any entry in the historical backlog of previous riven rolls?

I gave up multishot & electric damage options on that riven, in favor of blast procs. But as the game's core mechanics meander around literally at random, I have to wonder if Rivens are worthwhile in the long run. This event has made me seriously rethink whether or not I want to buy several thousand platinum over the next 1 to 2 years - mostly because I can't get back into that MASSIVE historical backlog of everything I've previously rolled.

Of course, it would be even nicer if blast procs were rebuffed to make them knock things over, and all other status procs were buffed to be just as powerful & useful as procs such as blast, slash, and corrosive.
