idk why they didnt think the chat was part of the UI for the update. they redo everything and just drop it ontop.

they might as well "launch" it then. although that will hold them more responsible for broken stuff then i guess.

After all the negative feedback about the current patch its clear that many things need to be fixed and changed. And with a major update like this that is somewhat accepted, but that can be greatly decreased with a test server. Yes im sure DE has their own test server in the office, what they really need is one for player feedback. Many large and successful games have test servers for the players either public, application required, invite only, or random opportunity. Some of these servers are not even 24/7 and they only turn them on when a large update is planed. Now DE might be a great bug tester and all that but when it comes to the direction and style of the game wouldn't you want the target market to be more pleased with the end result of this.
I'm not saying a test server would of made people love this UI and stuff, but it would of gave DE a heads up they might be going the wrong way before this was forced down our throats.

yes on all 3 point and as far as DE not want to revert or have a toggle it makes me said they don't want to listen to the feed back. If dojo was a more popular spot they probably would of done this ship, but the only reasons people go to dojo is to trade and buy BP. And as someone who has put a few hundred into this game it makes me sad how they wont accept that this is overall a bad UI.

they whole /w <name> <message> wasn't working for me but the other commands listed in /? were.
reloging/rebooting did not fix the issue

The new one is alright in its job, but it just lacks the functionality of the old Star Chart.
Taking some aspects of the old Star Chart and melding it with the new one should help quite a bit.
And removal/reversion of gameplay elements is the last resort, if all solutions and suggestions fail.
true it does the job, but the flow is much worse and the spinning, omg the spinning. i shouldnt have to spin the map to find a mission. They need a more heads down sort of view.

so i went to fuse some mods and it flipped the loaded out screen text backwards and everything.
started in the arsenal then clicked mod while looking at a loadout, went and fused the mod i wanted, went back to the loadout and everything was backwards. I left the arsenal and it went back to normal.

post game screen remove mod images and make it so u scroll over the name to see the picture. when u get 20+ mods after a survival its annoying to scroll

i hate running around it. when i want to just click to open a menu. now if i want to click a menu i have to press 3 buttons then click instead of 1 click like the old UI.

I really don't get it. In other thread you and other forum user are consequently suggesting people to not give constructive feedback together with their complains and that they (complains) therefor invaild. now there is someone who has made a list for himself, uses it, and that it false, too. The same goes for many other things.
His list is good, it has many vaild points.
i think its a good list though i didn't add the whole thing to 1st post like i have been doing, but im glad its getting out there that people are upset with the update.
I was playing with my friend and brother. Ones said that the ship felt like they were trying to make a hangout spot (so like dojo? that i dont know many people other then traders who hang out in it) and the other one said he wanted it to be bigger because he is claustrophobic (lol)

ya some of the major things that need to be changed. I hope they actually do this instead of just saying screw the user they will learn(because i think i would give up on it -.- if they did)

not bad, i really want a flat map with no spinning. the line or arrows!! arrows alone would help alot

o i never thought about color blind. I'm color blind and i always use bright colors to make it easy for me to see. (been dealing with it for a while now)
