[Prime Access Packs & Ps4]

Is there a way to get the Prime Access without the platinum? There's no way I'm paying nearly $200 for 4400 platinum I'm never going to use.

Is it not possible to join 'in progress' missions on the PS4? I just downloaded this game a day and a half ago and have been enjoying it, but I'm having trouble getting into groups/squads/whatever on missions. I don't have any "friends" to play this game with and I don't want to join a clan (joining guilds/clans/etc. has very rarely been successful for me) but I enjoy playing missions with other people and -want- to do so. But over the past day and a half it seems that I somehow lack to ability to join another mission with other people.

 

I understand that the party size is capped at 4? So I try to look for missions with participant numbers (I assume that's what the number next to the mission name/location is because it frequently goes up and down) that aren't divisble by 4, meaning that, I assume, at least one party isn't full. But when I select the mission and try to start it, it always starts the mission from the beginning and I'm by myself. So I figured "maybe the 'Play Now' button is an option to forgo waiting to be connected to someone else's 'in progress' mission and start on my own" and I wait... and wait... and wait. At the bottom right of the screen it says "Finding Squad" and then changes to "Waiting for players" but it just sits there.... -forever-!

 

What am I missing? Am I doing something wrong? Is there some option I have to toggle to be able to join 'in progress missions'? The 'privacy' setting is always set to Online, I even upped my Ping cap from 300 to 400. Maybe I should try No Limit? I downloaded this game for the enjoyment of playing with other people. If I'm going to be forced to essentially play solo 90% of the time and -hope- someone joins -my- mission in progress, then I'm afraid this game is very quickly going to lose my interest.
