Just now, siralextraffo said:
The only thing annoying me is all those Conclave mods added, for a mods completitionist that's always bad news..
The conclave standing mods? Well okay.
The end-of-PvP drop ones? UGH.

New chat? Terrible. Absolutely terrible.
I don't want to see emotes (at all, no :FISHFINS: span, just %((^ or whatever text is in that), I want less alpha on the textblock, I want channel text names back, I want to be able to type :P without selecting it, and to not get a wierd diagnostic box with "input" in it and the client to freeze...
*sigh*
Seems a lot harder to click on names, text is fuzzy...

I got a Nezha Helmet, no cores. Did it for the cores, 11 mins left when I finished.
The wording of the event was clear, DE.
-
Different issue - I got a Nezha Helmet and no cores. I wanted the cores, only reason I ran it.
-
a lot of this happens in the conclave too. if one person decides to bring a Galatine, he is instantly the best player.
I disagree. There's quite a few different builds which work for melee in conclave (ignoring gun/melee balance for now) - fast/light daggers, heavy weapons and things like my amphis build all have pros and cons. A heavy melee user is dead meat if you are not sent flying by his first slam (and even then you can usually escape)
Conclave melee is balanced very differently to the rest of the game, though.

It could increase credit costs though, if they use the Credit cost per energy of common cores, instead of rares. Though, I have trouble believing making common core equivalents valuable again by using the rare equivalent would hurt the game. If anything, it would turn common drops to something usable without killing your credits, vs now where they're basically hyper expensive to use. So expensive, I don't use them at all if I can help it.
Good point, that's something they'd have to consider, since one rate makes sense. (I'm not sure where the overall rate should fall, but probably a bit less than uncommon is currently)

Per devstream, back next week on PC

I've just read the plan for changing how mod fusion works in Devstream 68.
It sounds like adding an extra step, while removing most of the current system depth (which doesn't add much, so that's fine...)
However, taking it slightly further would make things even easier and add useability to the system - that is, do away with "fusion cores" and make "fusion energy" a currency instead.
This;
* Allows fusion energy drops to be a type of pickup like health, energy and affinity (You'd still be able to melt down mods, but you could give slightly less for that / keep the present values, as you can't match polarity any more hence otherwise it's a nerf to overall fusing power!)
* Removes the need to give only set amounts of fusion energy and bugs like unranked fusion cores being given out
* Allows, if you want, fusion energy to be used elsewhere
* Stops you from "overrunning" the amount of fusion energy needed
* Enables a much better mod fusion UI.
What do I mean by that last one? Essentially, while the values for fusion energy needed are known and on the wiki, it's currently not spelled out anywhere in game. Let's have a mockup;

Well, I must say my ignore list is filling with leechers.

I reported the Bandit issue here;
https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/595797-pvp-bug-with-completing-daily-quests/
Also had a derelict game yesterday without cephalons.
-
Same quest today. Same inability to complete.
-
Also reported here;
https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/595797-pvp-bug-with-completing-daily-quests
HarissonLA - Sounds like a different bug
-
Oh good it's not just me :)
-
Yes! Lol...
I also had a [DE]Rebecca apparence, but sadly only in a PvP lobby :P
-
It was either here or matchmaking...
Anyway;
I have one PvP daily left. This is "Bandit" - capture 4 cephalons.
I see this come up at the start of a Capture the Cephalon, as normal, but I do not get any progression on it whem I capture cephalons. This is true across a number of games, different matchmaking regions and a Warframe restart.

DESCRIPTION: Alt-tab kills Warframe
When I alt-tab out of warframe, it cannot be alt-tabbed or otherwise got back into. It does not show up under Applications in Task Manager, only on the Processes page (with a static amount of RAM usage).
It worked fine pre update 18.
Windows 7 64-bit, i5-2500K, two different AMD Radeon cards, 8GB RAM.
Fullscreen (borderless windowed has a ~15% performance drop)
CAN YOU REPRODUCE THE BUG? Y
REPRODUCTION STEPS: Alt-tab out of warframe.

You know what else is an AoE viral proc? Any red veil proccing weapon.Ignis with viral damage.But I found myself hitting 4 to give Ignis time to do damage, soo yea.
-
The key problem in theory with the rework is you need all three of range, duration and power - while only being able to have 130% efficiency, as she
can't kill her range, but at the same time her ult isn't a toggle so doesn't gain efficiency from duration.
"Apparently negative duration now causes Saryn's DoTs to deal the same total damage in a shorter amount of time."
Oh. Well, never mind then. (Wait, does that mean positive duration doesn't benefit the 4 damage?)
-
1) Make the armor degradation around 5x slower, and lessen the health damage/second. However long it is now is not even close to enough time to complete the objectives with armor still intact. And with my 720 health I had around 6 seconds outside of a bubble before death.You can expend one charge to refill your armour to 100%. Just use it from the gear menu.
-
IS THE BUG EASILY REPRODUCED? It seems every run one of us stays behindIf you force-close warframe (alt F4), and re-open, you can rejoin in the right section of the trial.(We were also unable to progress until the 3/8 affected had closed warframe)

So like...12 eggs later....er....that's a lot of credits ><
And only market-bought ones worked? Sheesh.
-
Guardians power levels are clearly absolutely nowhere, nowhere near Tenno's.
(Weapons are arguable, but WF's powers simply wreck anything a guardian can do with i.e. an occasional area nuke and a grenade)
-
Huh...the Boar was easy to get.
One of the three non-AW weapons I needed, too.
Now I need those new Kamas. Oh, and Despair. (the name irony, the name irony!)
-
Ignis.
For low-level stuff, an Ignis with both range and area mods is just lol.
