I don't think clipping is a good enough reason to make them move like that, it looks awful, especially compared to the awesome arrowhead silhouette you get with regular Gauss while sprinting.

I feel like they should adjust the side skirts on Gauss Prime so that they flow freely instead of being glued to his legs. It looks dumb when they whip back and forth as he runs instead of streaming behind him like on the regular skin. It also leads to some ugly stretching on the back part of the skirt when his leg is bent at the hip.
