Yes please. Really bothers me.
-
Yeah. How was quake good in PoE? In any case Banshee is now my firm fauvorite frame.
Latest changes effect my savage silence not one bit.
-
What are you guys on about? My Chroma, ice element, regular tank build, strength, armor, duration, vitality is unkillable in regular content.
And I can now recast vex armor... 700% armor, how is that not tanky? Damage buff is still noticable and now permanent.
-
Again this. Grow up. Most of the time I just prefer an elememtal mod.
-
Death machinegun needs a buff for sure. Crit rate and status on it is lame.
However Deriga is great. With riven it can oneshot lvl 60 regular enemies at 70m range.
Sentinel weapons should be able to tackle lvl 30-60 enemies and be of use.
But most important, Sentinels should survive with tge player. A fully decked sentinel would struggle to survive past lvl 100 on eny endless mission.
What we need is a mod that transfers all damage to the owner. Then we would be talking about damages.
-
Do it. Numbers can vary but whatever happens in a modular way is great.
-
This is great. No more prime weapons at lvl 2 and then sticking with same weapon to the end.
But best of all it makes progression weapons decent.

I do like how they buffed some weaker weapons like the Stradavar, Dera and Karak, but some changes are..... Weird. It just doesn't fit.
Raw damage weapons were a part of the game since the beginning. Less viable for endgame, indeed, but still very usefull for everything else and just as fun to play. The point of those weapons is to deal heavy damage quickly with few shots, which is the opposite of most Status weapons (not focused on Slash) that requires multiple shots to inflict multiple status to deal more and more damage per shot. Making those Raw damage weapons crit-based while reducing the base damage can aso be a bad things. Crit mods usualy take 2-3 slots in builds, while Raw damage weapons can use those slots for Elemental/Physical damage or even utility mods, such as Flight Speed, Fire Rate, PT, Ammo mutation, etc.
Well... If you use exact same build like before weapon performs better.
There is no need to throw on crit or status mods. But you can, and that even further improves the weapon.
Raw.damage weapons buffed with some ceit and status in no way harm the weapon.
It even becomes late game viable.

I disagree with OP...
Sure Tiberon beforw was unique... Unique in being useless. Adding a lot of crit and status to any weapon makes it better.
And better is better.
-
Meh. There are many such mods. Arguably blood rush is way stronger. To the point of maiming strike not useful on all melee builds.
Those weapons OP listed are the problem, but that is their party trick. They do just aswell without maiming strike in alternative builds.
90% crit chance with 1.5x crit modifier is not that impressive.
All these weapons fall off at endgame.
Atterax is strong because slash is broken. But atterax benefits from higher status chance more than maiming strike.
So in short, maiming strike is hardly as strong as OP would lead us to believe.
Infact most of my endgame builds don't feature it.
Condition overload is way stronger on a decent status weapon.
Maiming strike just gives you instant crit right away.

Just did sorties today with my sexy savage banshee build. Just duraration, everything else around 100.
Easilly leading in damage, survival agsinst lvl 80 corpus not a problem, it was pure savage.
But enjoyable there is zero need for changing her active role. As for afk affinity farming that has got to go.
-
No.
A bit longer Ash is perfect... Sure we could ask for better stats... Or more armor. But really Ash is great.
-
I would rework 4 to be more active Messa style stabathlon, where you have to aim for your next target while stabbing at current target. Damage immumity would only activate if you have a target going.
-
Nothing could be further from the truth. Ash is briliant. #1 with augment epic scales to any level. #2 invisibility is again special thanks to focus changes. #3 can kill any target wirh a dagger... #4 clunky but gets the job done.
#4 really has poor mechanics. Clunky.. But it does not lack power.
Then there is slash passive. In damage 2.0 Slash is king of damage types.
Base stats are also very decent. Speed, armor, health... (nobody should care about shields)..
I do agree 4. Needs a change, but not by a lot.
-
You have no idea. Noise arrow is great. You can use trolling enemies. Solo interception, or extermination... Like gathering 30 of them and blowing them up with 1 ogris shot.
-
The real issue is getting one shotted in the first place.
All scaling is borked, anything over 200-300 and every frame that gets hit is oneshotted.
Result is we play in a way to defeat getting shot in the first place. Pretty much your frame has some kind immunity or it is not viable for endgame.
Even ice chroma with epic armor levels feels fragile at 200.
The answer is not to treat the symptom with stacking more armor on all frames. That just pushes the problem from lvl 60 to 80.

Actually I have, but everybody is an expert on the Internet so that hardly matters, plus I have no doubt that DE are quite capable themselves in that regard.
We know from DE that selling inventory slots is one of their main income sources.
We know that a weapon slot costs a multiple of database space compared to what a loadout slot costs (the loadout slot only references the weapon, while the weapon slot actually stores everything surrounding it, if you want to search the forums I even calculated the exact space requirements in the past).
A weapon slot costs 6p, a loadout slot costs 20p.
Since I'm also an expert on profits I can say with confidence that loadout slots are more profitable per bit of database space than weapon slots.
Now shush.
As a full time developer I can confirm this train of reason.
It can be done, limits are in place so somebody doesnt get 90000 loadout slots and destroy the server.
But 1 loadout slot per frame should be no problem at all.
-
Maybe just buff them really lame weapons.
In my eyes weapons with 2.5% crit chance and 2.5% status should not exist.
All weapons with 5point disposition are in need of a base buff. What good is Tiberon when it is based on a latron that is better in every way?
Why is lato stronger than braton following rework?
And the classic underdog Hind... All these weapons would be given a new lease on life with 15-20 crit and 25-15 status. Then let rivens do some magic.
There is absoluteley no need for some weapons to be lame.

Shouldn't have to purchase from other players
Well, I didnt get maiming strike this year either. Some things just require more than 100 tries.

So first you do the Lewt dance, then praise the lord RNGesus and sell your soul to Lewtzifer.
Then do sortie 3.
But seriusly. I got kuva today, for the first time since introduction months ago. How RNG is that? Its an uncommon reward. But atleast I like me some kuva. Rivens are worthless with my 89 rivens, only one slot free in case sortie drops a riven.
-
Sortie is a challange, you are required to use a bow to complete said challange. If you desire not to do that challange you are free not to do it.
You can do everything ingame other than bow challange and.. Gain mastery rank from bows. Your choice bro.
-
Well, mission rewards should improve with level. Maybe drop rare stuff twice as often after 1h survival and thrice as often after 2h.
Some reward for killing lvl 300 enemies.
Besides they do give sweet affinity and credits. But again not enough.

Whoa,
First Rare Set Mod from Tier 3 Bounties -> Gladiator Vice 42 runs
And I feel you farming brother. RNG is poor at delivering loot you want.
There has to be a better way. But as is, this is the state of play.

What you do isz, enter wf.market, buy what you did not get and desire. Works like a charm.
Any gun should be sortie 3 viable with enough investment

What weapon isn't? Beam weapons have incomming rebalance, some melee weapons suck...
But in general with a sufficient investment(and a Riven) any weapon is good enough.
This is after 100+ weapon buffs.
