  1. lol why are people selling their bps the instant they start building something?

I'm not going to defend this design choice, but i'm trying to understand the mentality of "WELP TIME TO SELL ALL THIS STUFF"

You barely get any credits from selling it, and you don't have limited inventory space for bps and the like. I don't sell anything, because there's no reason to.

  2. Mind posting your weapons/mods, then?

I've tested every damage type against 50+ corrupted enemies, and lol the dmg.

Under 30 you'll 1 shot everything, even with a unmodded braton. 30-40 is when it's a noticeable difference between damage types. 40-50 is when it gets pretty stupid. 50+ and it doesn't matter what you're using, how strong it is or what mods you have, it's not going to do S#&$.

I really want to know what people are using that aren't having any trouble, because I haven't been able to figure it out yet, and I've tried a plethora of combinations (with Soma being the gun I default to, because crit dmg on weak points hits ridiculous amounts, and on 40-50+ enemies I'm using less ammo than I am with most other guns)

  3. lol @ this thread.

People really don't get the new system. I'm with the OP.

Dmg 2.0 = Every enemy under lv. 30 will die damn near instantly to every gun. Under lv. 30, all enemies are a joke.

Lv. 32-35, enemies begin taking longer to kill, but it's still pretty quick.

Lv. 37~40 You really begin to notice how much longer it's taking to kill them.

Lv. 41~50 You start using a LOT more ammo, burning through 1-2 clips of your guns to kill enemies.

Lv. 50+ lol don't even bother you won't kill jack S#&$.

I've used and stacked every damage type against the enemies I test against (T3 Void, survival) and you can basically sneeze on any enemies under lv. 30. Once you hit the 40-50 mark, your weapons begin to become pea shooters. Past 50, You'll use 3-4 clips to kill anything.

THIS IS -WITH- BONUS DAMAGE FROM M. PRIME, TOO. As a matter of fact, of all the guns i've tested and all the damage types (impact/puncture/slash, blast, radiation, etc.) Soma is still the best gun for killing things, because of how crits are calculated.. and even -that- takes 2-3 clips to kill enemies 50+.

The scaling needs to be examined, because early on it's pathetically easy, and later it becomes a literal wall.

  4. Wow, the entitlement in this thread.

You paid for founders, and got a very good deal on plat, as well as exclusive items (which means you'll theoretically always be of higher mastery than someone who doesn't have them) and we're STILL getting benefits. Like the bonus trades per day..

Who cares if they want to release a bundle for $140. If people are buying it, good for them, it's worth it to them. If not? Then don't. If it doesn't sell, then DE will re-think their strategy. This is ridiculous.

"I don't need the plat, and I don't want the cosmetic items" so then what the hell do you want, lol?

  5. im  pretty sure many founders wished (including me) that in the future we would get also more stuff for free (well for our cash back then)

this here would been a great way to give a "thanks" back to the founds. maybe not all 3 things for free and of course not the plat. but maybe the frame and 1 weapon? why not?

If Ember prime is only accessible this way I'm going to be so upset.

Excalibur Prime, Skana Prime, Lato Prime.

  6. Braton is the best gun in the game, currently.

If you're killing a boss or doing high level defence, bring hek, because that's the only point in the game where it's necessary.

Boltor is trash. With latency, bolts go poof or miss their target completely. It has damn near 0 range, making it close-earlymid, at best. Projectile weapons are just bleh. (Minus Paris/Kunai, but they fly faster than snail riding a turtle, and have decent damage)

Armor ignore inherently is a very good thing. It's what should push you towards one weapon or the other with two equal weapons. If Braton prime had armor ignore, it would be godly. Right now, however, the only weapons with armor ignore (afaik) are projectile weapons, and therefore not worth using.

The neat thing about this game is, that it doesn't really matter what you use, everything is good, bcuz game 2ez. Game so ez, it hurts. If you like boltor, hurray, use it to your hearts content. In theory and practice, however, Braton is the best gun in the game.

  7. In what universe?  How at all are those two mutually exclusive?  Just because its never happened before doesn't mean it can't happen.  MMO type games have only recently started hitting consoles in the past few years (Dust 514, DCUO) and Dust was in beta on console for a while.  For all I know it may still be that way.  There's no reason it can't be a launch title and still in beta.

  8. Okay, I noticed something.

I logged out, logged in, and my Latron was shooting normally (crosshair was aligned properly when reloading, etc.)

About mid-mission, the crosshair was very "low" when reloading, and I had to compensate for my shots. Just extra info to help out the devs.

  9. Glad a few people understood my post. Again, I'm , not leaving, but I know quitea few people who are, because the "endgame" is watch twitter for potatos or items you don't have yet.

Ill reply to each post when I get home, (6hrs from now) but there have been many people who agreed they'd enjoy some sort of goal in the game to work towards. You can say "them do it just to do it", but that isn't the same as an official pat on the back and something to show for your success. We want to chase the carrot on the stick, not sit around and wait for it to grow.

  10.

So, in fact your problem isn't the waiting but the lack of new things to do.

I can't imagine how many hours you've sink into the game : I'm at nearly 300 hours and still missing some frames and weapons, barely starting to help new players.

I think you need some kind of player-chosen challenge added to the game. Maybe you'll have a lot of things to do whith the next big things to come : player-created content.

Remember you said that in the forst post : "The system that requires you to wait so many days to finish a frame, or so many days (mandatory, unrushable) dojo research -- it's costing you players". So I think we were discussing the fact you have to wait while researching.

It *is* the waiting, because I'm waiting for new guns to play with.. the "things to do" = the new guns and new content they released.. which I can't access, without waiting an exorbitant amount of time, lol

That was the entirety of my suggestion, though. Give players something to do.

    Suggestion:

In game goals/achievements, with tangible rewards. "Kill 10,000 grineer" "Get 5,000 headshots", etc. which leads into a second suggestion (which would also make you exorbitant amounts of money):

  11. Haven't stopped playing warframe and i have all the frames so far short of the Frost Prime... Have not purchased them with Platnum, so 3 days Plus 12 hours per build of the parts... Have yet to leave warframes game becuase its fun to play with friends.

don't know where your friends are, but mine are still playing and so long as two or three of us are playing together, warframe will still be played.

Clan research takes 3 days minimum for the first item in the tech tree. You need multiple of that item, plus 3 days minimum to research the next weapon. It takes 6 days of research to get the first weapon in the corpus tech tree, and 9 days to get the first gun.  (3d fieldron. 3d prova. 3d supra)

The Supra requires 10 fieldron. 12h per fieldron. So, 2 per day if you're ontop of things. 10/2 = 5 days (minimum) for the supra. The supra itself requires 24h to build. (1d). Total time to build the supra: 15 days. Half a month to build 1 gun.

Why don't you play the game while you research something ?

Gather mats for your next research, get some BP for your clanmates (as one day we'll be able to trade them), get more credits to buy more weapons (after all they get the snipetron out of the market, so you don't know if all the weapons will stay there forever. I buy every BP I can from th emarket, just in case)

Get rare mats for forma and potatoes.

Find new players and help them. For me, that last one is the most entertaining in fact.

I already have max mats for all the research; I have over 1 million credits and almost every weapon in the game. I also have enough mats to make every forma bp I have, and I don't have a use for any additional potatos. Literally, there is nothing to do in the game for me, other than wait. My suggestion is to give us something to do. Give players who have it all and who have done it all, something to do. That's what I'm asking for.
