  1. 1) Allow us to access it via the Orbiter. If you don't want to add a terminal for access by default, let us buy one from Simaris or something that we can put in the Orbiter to access it without having to go to a relay.

    2) Allow us to access Operator/Drifter menus, so we adjust amp and Tenno loadouts and customization. It would be nice if we could use Simulacrum to adjust and test everything, instead of having to load into different areas for different stuff.

  2. No. If you have reached the point that you need more rewards to play this game, PLEASE STOP PLAYING THIS GAME.

Not only does adding this kind of stuff dilute the actual game, but it sounds incredibly unhealthy to coerce someone to stay logged into the game with that kind of FOMO. Unless DE is going to start co-opting our system to farm for crypto, there's no good reason to want this in the game.

Also, this would serve to facilitate more farm, bot, and scam accounts. Features that are MR gated can just be breached by leaving throwaway accounts logged in to level up MR.

No. It was nerfed to not work in Conclave due to "internal discussions and player feedback".

Not that it matters because 1k standing on redeeming a rare drop is not very good. Unless all you want is really early rewards. Then maybe MAYBE it'd be worth it.

    Well poop.

Frankly, I'm surprise that DE hasn't retired Conclave already. It can't possibly be drawing more activity than Raids used to.

That's why the Universal Medallion (1000 rep from any faction) is such a pathetic joke. It was touted as a big evergreen reward, 1000 rep is near useless, but any more and you might upset that one Conclave player who's still around.

Wait, we can advance Conclave ranks with the medallions? Holy moly, I got something new to farm now.

  5. I'm confused. Common amp configurations already come with two fire modes. Are you asking for an Incarnon addition that will put 4 modes on each amp, varying based on whichever parts were used in the construction? It would probably be less daunting to add incarnon to single characteristic Kitguns before trying to tackle the multi-functionality of amps.

  6. I remember when yeeting something off a ledge or into the void would actually kill it. I was one of the people that would use Loki to teleport swap a boss over a bottomless pit and kill it instantly. I get that's not good balance to allow that kind of thing. But for it to mean nothing when we knock an enemy off a cliff or punt it so far up into the air that it triggers the respawn, also feels a bit sad.

Can we have some sort of status or damage proc for when we yank something into the void so hard that the game is forced to respawn it? It would be cool if that mechanic actually became meaningful in the combat loop.

*Especially since there are so many nice ledges in Duviri and the Undercroft and all.

  7. I would actually ask for the opposite. I've started losing interest in Railjack, because it's become as solo friendly as normal missions. Just about every Veil mission I join in on is just the pilot spamming void hole, tether, etc to aoe to clear all the enemies off the screen, leaving little to nothing for the other 3 people on the ship to do, save clean up the occasional crew ship straggling at the edge of the map.

I appreciate being able to kill enemy fighters with turrets now, but they're so weak that we never even get the chance to. It's about as engaging as running ESO with a Saryn in the squad.

  8. I feel like the writer isn't working together with the actual level designer, because they can't seem to figure out what it is they want to do and test the players on; movement mechanics or plot details. As other have pointed out, the timer runs off while the PLOT DIALOGUE is playing, so stopping to focus on the dialogue and story will cause you to run out of time and fail. Alternatively, you can rush through the jumping puzzle and have no idea what's going on with the Nightwave story.

    • Please separate the plot exposition from the timed puzzle elements.
    • Also remember to include a skip function for people who do just want to skip the story and rush the puzzle, because those kinds of people exist.

I also noticed that the movement and jumping distance seem different within the test. I was able to adjust to it quickly, but have heard that it threw some people off and caused them to fail the test. Causing people to fail a movement test because you suddenly changed the movement mechanics feels kind of cheap.

  9. The event is fine when consumed in appropriate dosage. The problem with it, is the same problem with release of all the content. Vets have been drip fed it to the extent that new content is the only content they haven't experienced, leading them to binge it to the point of disgust. Then they start complaining that there wasn't more or that an unfinished product didn't live up to some sort of hype that they deluded onto themselves.

I've noticed the trend a lot while watching streamers. New players are utterly amazed by the game. Older players start to actively resent it after a certain point. It's very interesting if you try to pin point when that happens and the switch flips over in their head.

Getting rid of complete status immunity is probably in the plans. They've done it with liches already.

This wasn't the first step of some grand plan. This was clearly a knee-jerk reaction, because the event offers arcanes as a reward. At best, they'll "reconsider" and roll it back after the event ends.

I'm not saying they should be immune to anything. I want them gradually adapting to repeated usage of anything.

If you want to get technical, they already can. Against DPS and damage frames, they already adapt to the damage type inflicted by those abilities. But those resistances can then be reset. My biggest issue is that we can't reset their supposed adaptation to Limbo's Stasis. I tried bringing an Excalibur Umbra into a mission and spammed Howl. It reset all the resistances the Sentients developed from Mesa's Redeemers and Titania's Razorwing attacks, but did nothing for their ability to completely ignore Limbo's stasis.

But yeah, they already are immune to most status and cc effects/abilities.

Honestly, would love this. It's hard to see Sentients as the ultimate threat from a lore standpoint when they are so helpless gameplay-wise.

They're honestly already immune to so many things, it would just turn them into a faction where the only viable tactic is a straight crit dps check, making them the most bland and boring enemies to fight. Giving things god mode and invulnerability is actually not all that hard or creative, it's lazy.

  13. I would also point out, the whole concept of Sentient adaptation was first linked to the game mechanics via damage types. This system incorporated the ability to reset that resistance via operator attacks, certain weapons, and Excalibur Umbra. None of those things will reset the supposed "adaptation" of Sentients to Limbo's Stasis, implying that is this sudden application of the existing justification is outside the purview of the previously established conditions of that mechanic. They just didn't want Limbo's ability to be viable.

Add to that inconsistency, that of this adaptation seems to track applications randomly, as many Sentients become completely immune to Stasis within the duration of its first casting.

For a second let's assume that you are right and this somehow breaks the lore.

Are you saying that gameplay mechanics and balance need to be done with regards to the lore? Because, well, that is huge can of worms. Warframes are not direct representations of their "lore" versions. Nova can turn enemies into antimatter apparently and I don't see any nukes going off when I hit 4. Iron skin is virtually indestructible in lore, does this mean we need to buff Rhino? Let's not even get started on the general physics of Warframe movement.

If Limbo's Stasis change breaks the lore is irrelevant, balancing the game around lore is a stupid idea.

I think it's just people trying to grasp at an underlying principle in balancing, because trying to accept that it's all just done on the whim of a capricious dev is unsettling and throws any sense of certainty in investment out the window. Saying a single frame shouldn't be able to dominate a game mode is utterly false when Onslaught is pretty much owned by Saryn. Claiming that all frames of a role should be equally viable is also false when you compare what CC effects actually affect Sentients and why Vauban's name hasn't even come up once throughout the event.

I would even go so far to argue that the Devs completely forgot about Limbo when planning the event. None of this can be claimed to be a fix for an exploit or bug, as Rift and Stasis are the core of Limbo's kit and pretty much all that he does. They essentially invalidated the entire frame against a whole faction.

I don't know who's in charge of endgame balancing, but it all seems to be boiling down to "endgame = bring crit dps".
