  1. So can someone explain to me how if you all die you fail the mission, but if you run of out life support while you all live you complete it?

Do you lose all the mods/resources you gained if you just all die with life support still there?

Pretty stupid rules they made. The logic says to stay alive as long as you can, so did I. Then I realized that it would have been much more worthwhile to go suicide and let the air run out instead of more fighting. It would make more sense if there would be some sort of extraction in the end.

  2. If you hope it fails why are you even trying for 20? If iy fails you don't get your snipetron vandal, even if you killed 200 of them.

If the event is a succuss that would still give me the Snipetron Vandal, if it's a fail it wasn't a big waste of time when killed just 20.

Nevertheless, I would be more happy to get nothing than getting the weapon only. I am a collector but it's nearly impossible to get under the first 100.

    - Don’t stop at 20—the top 100 players will receive a PRIMED CHAMBER MOD- first shot in new clip gives +25% bonus damage per fusion level.

Remember: these rewards are only available if the community-wide progress bar is filled! Tenno, you have until July 8th @ 12 PM EDT.

I don't like this. Something cosmetic (a title, a medal...) would be fine but it's a bad decision to make a mod exclusive.

Now this just let's me stop after reaching 20. Sry to say, but I hope this event will fail.

  4. For example, when I play as Frost in a mission where the environment is full of ice, should this boost my powers?

And should in return the missions with fire environment weaken my Frost's powers?

The same could happen to Ember, stronger in hot environments, weaker in cold environments.

    How could this look?

Maybe give the warframe a special ability which only works in their preferred environment.

The harder part is to weaken the warframe in hostile environment without taking away the fun for people.

It would become a problem when people quit when they see they are in the 'wrong' environment.

How could this work for the other warframes? In which environments could they benefit or suffer?

The balance is important. When done right this could be an enrichment for the gameplay.

  5. Since today I have the same problem. Suddenly after more than 300 hours the game tells me about a problem:

    "NETWORK PROBLEM DETECTED!

Please ensure that your firewall permits UDP ports 3960 & 3962."

After opening the ports the message still appears.

  6. Shouldn't the patch notes show what was added, changed, fixed... in new updates?

For example, since Update 8 you can't obtain the Snipetron any longer, but there are no details about it in your publication.

What else did we miss. I find it ominous to get censored patch notes.

    EDIT --- UPDATE --- 15 September 2013 ---

I made this thread more than 5 months ago. So let's see, what happened since then?

Did the mod collection get that necessary overhaul? No, sadly not.

    We still have major problems.

    No. 1: MODS DON'T STACK!

    jOZGPsS.jpg

On the fitting screen they don't fit on the screen...

    OJwScd3.png

No. 2: NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT COMPLETENESS

When we look at our collection we still don't know how complete it is.

How many mods are missing in my collection? Is it 5? ...or 20? ...or maybe more than 50?

The patch notes are useless for this, because they don't tell us. I found a 'Maglev' mod today without information about it.

With every new update that gets released it's getting more and more and more chaotic... MOAR mods, but no overhaul.

What we need here is an INDEX. A Warframe 'Moddex' with all mods which SHOWS us which ones we already have.

Gosh! If you need help, look at this :D

My idea in the original post already showed how this could look. It's still a way to handle this chaos.

This is NOT about equipping the mods, it's about getting information about the collection.

    Original post --- 10 April 2013 ---

I like to have a clear overview. So I thought about how the mod collection should look. To give me all the information I need plus an easy management.

So currently there are multiple problems. First, the duplicates. Secondly, the fusion cores. Both overflow the mod collection and they will even more the longer we play.
Another problem is that all mods are in one pool, so there is no way to distinguish between types.
Adding to the list that the collection has dozens (later hundreds) of pages to browse.

In my version you have your collection on 2 pages. ONLY 1 mod of every type is shown, no duplicates nor fusion cores. To get access to them you have to click on the specific mod, a new screen opens where the duplicates are (only of this mod type of course). Here the fusion takes place. If you want to use fusion cores they should be grouped (common 3, uncommon 5, etc.), fusion with other mod types should also be possible.

That way the overview and management would be much easier.

The mod collection would look like this (sry, no pic from fusion screen, you have to use your imagination for that).

The same again with a few comments.

    Advantages:

    - Differentiation between mod types.
    - Overview if collection is complete or not.
    - Overview of ranks/which mods need to level-up.
    - Overview of which mods have duplicates.
    - No duplicates/fusion cores in list.
    - 2 pages, when new mods/warframes get added a 3rd page, still small

  8. I don't see why they can't show only one of each mod that you have - and then when you click on that mod, have it pop up the full list of mods that you own for that card, and you can just click on which one you want to manage. And sort the initial mod list by name by default - seems the most logical anyway.

    This sounds good.

I think it would be great to have ALL mods in this list, even the mods you don't have yet - maybe these in b/w. That way it would be easy to see which ones are missing. Good for trading.

  9. I had the same problem multiple times today. Mission ends, then long waiting time, message appears about - can't save progression -.

Instead of doing a rollback the game should try to save later again.

    Message:

Could not update account information, progress was not saved!

  10. I have another problem with weapon colors when I use the combination Paris/Plasma Sword.

When I paint them red the weapons are fine. When I paint them green they both are green in solo games but white in online games.

  11. The start screen where you can see all the planets looks a little bit confusing. This is because of

    A) The planets are moving all the time

    B) The connection between the planets is not shown

    My suggestion is

    A) Make a fixed planetary constellation

    B) Show connecting lines between the planets

    C) When you are in planet view you shouldn't see other planets in the background

Here is a pic which provides in a simplified way a better view.
