  1. you're right in that previews are not easy to access, i've grown completely used to typing them in chat & manually opening them to preview, but making them clickable thumbnails should be QoL by this point

    manually writing them out is already a hassle & i can't imagine how tedious it would be if i played in my native language spanish trying to find out how badly they translated it

  2. seems reasonable, i've got two of the same prime frame because i use different shards for different loadouts, as well as formas just not lining up for both builds since we still don't have universal/double forma

    if an excalibur umbra main wanted to do this they'd have to get a console, get an account on that console & connect it when they finally get excalibur umbra a 2nd time? that doesn't seem like its very respectful of the players time invested.

  3. oh absolutely wall-running & auto-vaulting over map geometry
    i really can't stand the wall-hopping we have have now constantly having us jump over the grate instead of the old wallrunning animation that would just make your warframe dash inside when connecting to the edges of the open grate

    250%+ loot hydroid was great for a while, it was good to see hydroids theme finally be shown in his abilities although it was through a must-use augment, i understand why it's nerfed down to 100% but it was definitely a lot of fun

    But i will nitpick a bit. First with Ephemera and now with Signa tied to it, the attachements colors menu is quite bloated and it kind of restrict how we can custom our armors pieces. For example, i can't have different light colors on my armor pieces and on the Signa (i never was able to equip the Envine Signa because the colors didn't match at all).

    It would be very nice if Ephemera and Signa could have their own section of the customization menu.

    But other than that, it's a really beautiful Signa 🥰

    The channels represent the nobleness of the material, that is, Roughness is less noble and rare than Gloss, Gloss is less noble and rare than Glass and Glass is less noble and rare than Metal, so technically the primary channels are intended for the less valuable and more visible textures in the warframe.

    Notoriously we have these percentage numbers from 0% to 100% (the developers know what this means) which technically also reduce the nobleness of the same materials, these percentages are variants of nobleness as there are possibilities of using the same class of material in multiple channels.

    The visible area of the channel can also define the nobleness of the material, for example Gauss has 3 channels of metallic colors, but for me the 1st channel is more noble and should be in the 4th because the metallic shader of the 1st channel is visually brighter and the area it is less visible in the texture.

    Another observation is that Gauss 4º channel is occupying a considerably larger and exposed area, which classifies it as less noble material in thematic fiction of the warframe universe, for this reason I think Channel 1 should be on 4, channel 2 on 1, and channel 3 on 2.

    there are frames & weapons whose channels are not in sync with the rest true, but luckily they are coloured separately from their attachments now so we can work around that manually at this point, with these new signas there's no working around it but to unequip your attachments or unequip your signa sadly, which feels hurtful after the community has farmed so much to get the signa more than a week earlier than event deadline only for a mismatch.
    while i'd love total uniformity in material & colour channels, i think it's less of a priority & a much larger workload than solving the issue on our signa right now.


    i do feel like they began to try to keep things consistent post-pbr conversion & adding new colour channels to old warframes as well as making prime metallics colour custom, but some specific items fall through the cracks sadly - most never fixed since they aren't connected to the colours of any other items anyway so it can be manually worked around as a player.
    i'm hoping to draw attention to the signas since they do sync with ephemera, auxiliary & armour attachments in hope to actually use this signa whose design i otherwise love & hope for future signas we earn to not fall into the same issue. i don't know if the heirloom signas have the same problem since i was unable to get them but i hope they don't.

    Currently I can't make any compromise between attachments and the Signa colors. When my attachments look good, the Signa combines copper and cyan on the same objects, and looks bad.

    thanks for adding another solid example on where this is just not working with the rest of the cosmetics, it's really disheartening to see how many outfits it could've worked on but instead just doesn't work

  8. The metallics aren't on Accent on Krios Signa, the Accent is instead a gradient colouring. Using blue to display Accent here. 
    This is only a problem as long as individual armour pieces cannot be coloured one at a time, but it would be easier to simply swap the colour channels on the Krios Signa.

     

    Best solution may be swapping Primary + Accent channels?image.png?ex=65aa9c67&is=65982767&hm=be6

  9. These are some thoughts I have on invasions, fissures, sorties, archon hunts which are feeling pretty stale with the same old tilesets being used without much difference in a long time.
    Void fissures is one of the most interacted with system in the game, yet has only seen Disruption added that I can remember in the last few years which is a welcome addition in my eyes but rare, Sorties aren't super popular anylonger with some rewards feeling like punishment more than reward in regards to time invested but have had Plains of Eidolon bounties added to them which is an amazing step forwards in spicing it up a little.
     I think is a great step forwards, but I'd love for DE to really take it further.

    I'd love to see all open worlds get involved in the same way but not only for sorties but also for Archon Hunts.
    Archon Hunts including Plains & Vallis makes a lot of lore sense too with their post-TNW redesigns, plus we've had very little reason to return to 'narmer bounties' since getting the items we farmed out immediately after beating TNW.

    Even new invasions could be made & I think is what many were expecting, akin to Infested Invasions but with Narmer instead would really spice things up too in regards to the Narmer faction, a new unlock after beating TNW. Invasions occurring on plains/vallis for a bounty would also be great to make them feel like a core part of the game.
    In regards to invasions leading to takeovers if failed, as in that the faction then controls that tileset, maybe narmer-variants can be added if an invasion is failed so that new players aren't exposed to them too early. A lot like how Kuva Floods occurs with how the Kuva Fortress moves but rewarding a notable amount of Narmer Isoplast? I don't know the perfect solution but that is the first thing that comes to mind on solving Narmer invasions & having a reason to play them.

    Back on involving open world, I think it would also be nice if we could get single bounties available for Void Fissures as well, bounties have a lot of variety in mission types that would be refreshing for void fissures which have only had Disruption added to them in so long.

    I know this is a lot of different suggestions, encompassing multiple mission types & systems (bounties, sorties, archon hunts, invasions, factions controlling tilesets, open world) but it's just a batch of different ideas on how to further make these open worlds & this new faction more involved in the main game. But I also believe this can re-use the same templates that already exists & are being used for existing content so I'd like to think it's possible content to make for the sake of variety in classic content as well as making the content-islands feel less like islands & more part of the main game.

  10. when you told us you would no longer make deluxe skins time-limited, returned all time-limited deluxe collections we the community cheered on you - we didn't get mad about that it's no longer exclusive.
    because we agreed with you that it was bad business long-term to lock away the skins, it was bad towards the customers to use FOMO & i never saw a single person mad because "oh my rhino palatine skin is now going to be available to everyone who wants it, instead of just the few who had money during those specific months". you're making a strawman you can appease.

    but it's clear that our feedback no longer hold weight so i'll just keep 'voting with my wallet' by not supporting these hostile business practices. really unfortunate. while i want things in the bundle, i wouldn't buy the bundle even if you put 30 regal aya & 4000 plat in it & kept it at the 83eur/90usd price.

  11. would love to see this solution, i'm really hoping this is one of those times where they do listen to the community - they're better at it than any other devteam i'm aware of i just hope their hands aren't tied on account of higher ups
    if that were the case, i would love transparency on that they actually cannot control the pricing anylonger & it's tencent that is in charge which is what it's looking like

  12. prime access includes thousands upon thousands of platinum & a seasons worth of boosters, plus if you miss it you can always pick up the next one with nearly no interruption in between each prime access

    this heirloom pack has 400 - 600 platinum which is not enough to justify the immense price, Aya which has no use for many (not most) players
    i don't at all understand why the skins are being retired instead of only the 10Y Accolade, it's the only thing that should be getting retired at end-of-year

    i really don't think DE should take after Path Of Exiles most disliked & infamous system - their obscene pricing selling cosmetics locked behind up to 480 dollars  & time exclusive never to return afterwards, it's such a waste.
    i really hope to see them address these concerns, i'm not seeing anyone in any WF circles i'm in be in favour or understand the thinking behind the pricing & stuffing waste into the bundles

  14. i understand the initial caps designed around the idea of not wanting to have players who are able to, chew through all the content in day 1 of release.. but after a system has been out for over a year it's just artificially lengthening the process for absolutely everyone involved - if i am able to & want to revert being hunted by new loka to being allied with them in 1 day i don't at all see why i shouldn't be allowed to

    Corpus Ship rework is still notoriously terrible for it, you have to try to coast up the side or middle ridges of any staircases or you'll just get snagged on the top step almost without fail.

    perhaps but i'm just not noticing it in comparison to things like revenant, rhino & hydroid who go in a straight line so getting stuck means you are stuck for the rest of the duration without being able to shift out with movement or cancelling - plus it's free so there's less "waste" if you somehow did get stuck on some decoration with too big of a hitbox

    while hydroid can cancel his, it's by spending MORE energy, getting stuck in place for a moment of 2 cast animations which is really damn sad

    haha spotted this as well - have you been able to test if it reduces it in fact from 50 down to 15 or is it just 35?

     

    EDIT:

     tested, it is in fact down from 50 to 15 - a notable enough change & far more significant than the main augment effect
    it makes the ability nearly worth casting for mobility, although it is still significantly worse than most others even those you can helminth such as Vial Rush that can turn & doesn't get stuck on geometry

    yeah i mean events, in-game timed missions make sense but straight up ads is really just not good in any way, whether it's immersion, flow of gameplay, easy access to the GUI, it's just interrupting in every way so being allowed to turn it off by some means would be brilliant I feel
