  2. Using the chart from a fellow above, I will explain what I'd like each proc to do at 100%+
     

    Basic Elemental

    • Heat - The heat becomes so extreme that it melts the enemy, forcing their weakened bodies to take 50% more damage from all sources
    • Electric - Enemies become super-charged, upon dying they'd do 60% of all damage that was done to them to enemies in a 10m radius around them
    • Toxin - Enemies get so toxic they become heavily fatigued and weak, slowing their movement and attack speed by 45% and increasing the DOT.
    • Cold - The cold is so extreme that enemies are instantly frozen for several seconds, naturally they become brittle like the frozen victims of Frost.

    Combined Elemental

    • Blast - The explosions are so powerful it permanently shatters 5% of an enemy's armor and does 100% increased weapon damage.
    • Corrosive - The corrosion becomes so infused it starts to spread, splattering around and corroding nearby enemies. Also, becomes more effective.
    • Gas - Honestly not sure what to do here.
    • Magnetic - This status effect needs a rework, before a +100 idea.
    • Radiation - Not sure what to do here, either.
    • Viral - The only step I could think above what it does now is instantly killing, and that's a little op, so I'm lost here too.

    Well then, my mistake. It just seemed (as you said, at face value) that it would create yet another toxic mess, and I might still end up being right later-on as it devolves, but as far as I can see, it's going rather well. I apologize for my assumption.

    In the spirit of this topic and to contribute to it properly...

    I really dislike Mesa, not because I'm someone that uses melee almost exclusively, but because her ultimate refuses to turn into something fun for the community. I'd love to see DE make her ultimate mobile....and really hash out a method to make her the true gunslinger she ought to be. I think she has lots of potential, and DE only needs to tweak and change a few things to really make her special.

  4. I think, with some thought, the thing I regret most since playing this game just a little after Valkyr came out, is my toxic behavior in the forums and in-game. I am a helpful person with other players, and I do what I can and give what I can, but when it comes to the mods of Warframe...I was extremely harsh and hateful, it's gotten me into a lot of trouble and put me in unfortunate predicaments where I REALLY have to watch myself now. I hate that I did that to myself, and definitely regret THAT above all other mistakes I've made in/around this game.

  5. All this topic is, is an open invitation to pointless arguments. Let's assume that I hate a really popular Warframe and then post it here. Boom, now there's a bunch of people telling me how stupid I am or whatever for that, and why. On the flipside, if I talk about a Warframe that everyone else already hates....I'm just beating a dead horse. This has no productive value or feedback potential what-so-ever. Can we try to be more constructive with the forum topics, please?


    I feel like I might have been wrong, at least for the time being.

This has a lot of good points, nice creativity, the the heavy flaws I see in this is that the buffs and debuffs aren't very useful in-and-of themselves, and they'd limit you to a school you might not want to have. (Example being, if you run Naramon but what Madurai's Oberon judgement buffs/debuffs.) It's a good direction that needs some heavy fine-tuning.

  7. Valkyr looks visually stunning to me, in every way, and all her heads look good for the most part. The ugliest frame, I'd have to say is either Zephyr or Atlas, dreadful stuff there.

    Melee weapons - I love the look of Scindo with Kuberus skin, and generally despise how the Ack and Brunt look (But I also hate Glaive Prime)

    Bladestorm - Ash unleashes devastation by unsheathing his Katars and summoning a clone of himself to teleport to nearby enemies and rip them apart while he runs freely, dashing between enemies with his new melee weapon, stance, and ability to "dashport" (Dashing teleport) towards enemies too far away to be struck by his melee range (with a maximum distance) The clone follows him around and "old bladestorms" everyone around Ash, one by one.

    Augment Mod - Bladestorm's Clone now stays in a specific location, slicing and dicing anyone that comes into the circular ring of death, while Ash may go about the level as he wills.



    Smoke Screen Phantasm - Ash melds with the essence of his technocyte smoke, and flickers in and out of physical solidarity, part solid form, part smoke, 40% of all attacks that come his way pass right through him harmlessly, kept on by duration. 

    Augment Mod - Phantasm stuns all nearby enemies for 2 seconds when Ash comes into a certain range of them, the enemies being choked by the aura of smoke he emits from his body.


    Teleport - Now reworked so you teleport anywhere of your choice via cursor, if on an enemy, it opens them to a finisher as usual.

    Augment Mod - When used in conjunction with Bladestorm, 2 clones rapidly "old bladestorm" everyone in the immediate radius and then vanish.




    Volt
    Overload - Volt levitates off the ground and explodes sends arcs of lightning in every direction, over-absorbing power from all nearby life force and shields, now overloaded, Volt continues to levitate, and slowly have his shield and health drained if he is not constantly shooting off lightning bolts from his hands (which has now become his new weapons for the time being) With each strike from his hands, he loses his "energy overcharge" and once he loses enough energy to return to the normal amount, he starts losing health and shield regardless if he is shooting or not.


    Pretty much all I have for now, I will add later if anyone likes these ideas. A little different, but it was fun to type them up!

  9. Not exactly "sexy" per-say, but I think due to Rule 34, Mynki is actively TRYING to not make a female warframe that looks attractive in any way like the once that have come after Mirage. What do you guys think? I kinda just realized that, like he's making sure that the females since Mirage appear androgynous, something that an artist wouldn't want to "Rule 34". Anyone else think that? Just a random thought that popped in my head, curious if you guys agree or whatever.

    This is not news, not a controversy, just a simple little thingy to talk about. No big. :)

DE, I have talked a lot of crap about you developers over my time here, sometimes for good reason, other times not so much, but I've always LOVED this game, and furthermore I've been quite happy with the most recent changes to the game. One of the greatest things about Warframe has been it was an utterly exemplary example of what a Free to Play game ought to look like. Making every bit of platinum seem like it mattered, while also offering things to keep the "big spenders" happy. What a lovely balanced this Free to Play has truly teetered on for such a long time.

    With this stunt however, you have broken this, and the trust of many people. You made a decision solely on the prospect of reeling in the big spenders, the ones WILLING to spend more than $100 to get things that would have only been in one pack (going by the PS4 access/accessories here, as it is all I know) This is the kind of thing that the BAD Free to Play games do. You've really disappointed me this time DE, and the worst part is, I doubt you feel that, you're crossing into very sorrowful territory, and no one wants to see it get any worse.

    Please, DE, we all love you, don't ever stoop to this sort of degenerative marketing again. I plead because I care, and don't want to have to walk away after all the time and effort WE, not just you, not just us the players, but YOU the developers have put into this game.

  11. I potato, tomato, and jigsaw all my frames with prime variants, but do not waste resources on the vanilla frames cos I know a prime variant will be out in due time.

    I kinda wish we could transfer all upgrades to a prime when it gets released. So I won't feel so bad modding each and every frame to his and her full potential and not feel like the resources will be inevitably wasted when their shiny counterparts get released.

    I don't use any new Warframes because I don't enjoy/find a use for them beyond the release of Valkyr.

Regarding Valkyr's role as a tank v.s. damage dealer, it seems to me like the best way of going about changing things would be to allow the player to focus on whether they want to be more of a tank or more of a damage dealer, most likely through the use of augments. Specific augments for Hysteria and Warcry could be designed to increase damage output at the expense of survivability, and vice versa. Warcry drawing aggro would be a perfect effect to give to an augment.

     

    One thing I will absolutely agree on is that it's completely unreasonable for Hysteria to make you permanently invincible while also being able to deal the kind of damage that Valkyr can put out. Currently, using Hysteria feels like legitimized hacking. I won't be playing Valkyr again (except for testing purposes) until Hysteria's invincibility is tweaked or removed, because removing 100% of enemy threat from any mission without Nullifiers and 99.9% from any mission with them just isn't very fun for me. Can you believe it?

    Aye, I'd much prefer like a 40% damage reduction (At base) and keep the life steal. To me that would be plenty to keep her alive, no need to be invincible.

    Some frames just aren't meant to be team players

    This kind of sums it up, I don't want my Valkyr changing to suit the needs of some people that think all frames should help all other frames for some reason. I get on Valkyr because I like to kill things, now I can kill things for longer, in more situations. To me that's perfect. Get away from my Valkyr with your "We're all in this together" love-song world.
