  1. As the title says, i took a long-ish break from warframe and now im back to catch up on the backlog of stuff to level, but....my favorite place is now a ghost town ?

So, what happened to Kiste ?

Where do people play now other than draco and cerberus ?

    Ty :P

It's definitely a ghost town (at least in the Asia region). People abandoned it after the map changed to a more dynamic Mobile Defense setup (a.k.a the bridges+towers are gone) It's still really fun to play, but I guess the changes didn't suit everyone.

  2. Perhaps it can be seen as a scapegoat, but you really can't just ignore the fact that you're playing a beta.

You also can't ignore the fact that the player base spams the forums if updates aren't pushed out like clockwork.

We're still beta testers. It's better for them to release content early and make changes based on our feedback than for DE to wait a month only to have to make even more changes.

the Prodman has spoken all hail his glorious majesty

  3. Considering the cheap power spam tactics you guys use on every freaking mission ever, DE should make the reward pools for void aaaaaaaaabcaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabc. Youre not even playing this game, stop saying that you "deserve" better rewards for staying longer, you definitely dont.

Far as multishot goes, why is it even an issue. Just make the changes DE. Its your effing game, you dont have to consult with the rabble for everything. I understand you cant tell your players to F*** off for PR reasons, but the coddling has to stop. Do what you think is right, if it doesnt work then change it, keep trying, youll still be employed.

Apparently youre one of the most transparent developers around and your players still give you as much S#&$ as anyone. Screw that, time to tear the pie out of the fat kid's hands and make him to eat some @(*()$ spinach, godammit.

  4. Hm... interesting. I'm actually outlining a secondary-universe fanfic (as in it's in the Warframe universe except it's on the other less-explored side) that kinda follows the same idea as yours. What I've currently theorized in the fanfic is that a Tenno and a Warframe are both conscious and living beings, but through the use of a certain process they can integrate (or "meld", as I call it) with one another in order for the Warframe to gain access to amazing void-powers.

However, I'm personally still sticking to my child soldier theory (https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/506584-connecting-some-old-lore-with-new-lore-natah-spoilers/#entry5659110) as a possible canon. I'm a bit of a sucker for dark and dramatic plots.

  5. Wait what ? another node is now useless ?

Please... there are more than 200 nodes and 90% of them are useless.

    That's not even surprising.

TBH though Kiste was one of the more fun spots to play because the stream of enemies was almost endless, and it really felt like you had to hold off an entire army of Grineer hell-bent on wiping the floor with you. Of course it was ridiculously unbalanced in the enemy's favor if you tried to go solo, and a Mesa or Saryn could still wipe the map with ease, but it was still fun.

  6. .....Basically that, but the spool resets every shot and you have more control.

Hm... so in effect, if I'm using a burst-fire weapon, clicking X number of times within X number of seconds will allow me to spool up the multishot to maximum, but pausing/ not clicking within the X number of seconds will reset the multishot?

Sounds a bit complicated, but DE already has the Kohm's current mechanics to work with so I guess they can make it work somehow.

  7. Since I'm an advocate of less being more in Warframe, I personally think the multishot change will be good.

You have a point, though: a lot of specialized builds are going to suffer because of this change, and the feeling of having to rank up and re-forma everything all over again can be very disheartening. When (if) the change comes, I hope that DE takes a good look at the options we have and makes the appropriate changes (or compensations) to lessen the impact.

  8. shield polarize only works on corpus and void mobs

Aye, but think about it: if it did work on the Grineer, then you'd see Mags spamming 3 all over the place and wiping out entire maps. Yes it's a drawback, but Mag's other abilities (Pull and Crush) still work as CC on the Grineer, and since Shield Polarize is the equivalent of an auto shield recharge it saves the team more than one would expect. Bullet Attractor needs a rework though.

  9. I've been telling people to try the Mk1 Braton in high level content for a long time for one major reason:

    It is way more balanced.

OUR power curves are broken. The enemies deal the right amount of damage at level 35 for end game enemies. We just deal way too much.

Cut our power, cut the enemy counts, cut the garbage from the drop tables. This makes every enemy important, reduces the repetitive nature of the reward system, and helps the game overall.

    MK-1 Master Race

Really though, I agree. We've gotten so used to being strong enough to beat all regular content in one or two hits, that we've practically made DE think that the best way to appease us/ challenge us is to keep mechanics that are pretty wonky (Armor Scaling, Enemy Swarming), or feel annoying and cheap when they'd actually be quite reasonable on a smaller scale (Nullifier/ Healer mobs, High-Damage Homing Rockets).

Less is more is a general philosophy that could do wonders for the current state of Warframe.

  10. A few questions I've been thinking about for a while...

1.) Any updates on the Sniper reworks, if they are still happening?

2.) (https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/513512-spawning-pathfinding-sighting-why-warframes-challenge-may-feel-unbalanced-for-solo-players/#entry5731604) Is there any way we can help in finding the reason the spawns end up like this a lot?

3.) I realize Warframe isn't exactly about stealth, but can we ever get a sort of reward bonus (Aside from experience) for finishing regular missions without activating the alarms? Like some sort of credit bonus, or a chance for a rare drop at the end of the mission, just to encourage stealthier gameplay?
