  1. I just want to give my two cents about archwing gameplay in railjack.

I don't totally dislike it, but after trying a lot of archwing weapons, I can say that a lot of them have projectiles too slow for the fast enemies darting everywhere. Melee is out of the question too. So that makes a lot of weapons unusable in this game mod.

I don't seem to do much damage, perhaps it's just my mods, I don't know, distance seems to be a factor which is weird in space.

On the other hand the enemies can pack a punch, and the damage of crewships is through the roof. I'd like to see what killed me too, sometimes I seem to be clipped by shots I don't see.

  2. à l’instant, Prowombat a dit :

If you dont kill the little grineer thing your lich wont spawn at all.

That guy already has a lich. Also, when playing level 20+ grineer mission, you can easily encounter a maggot, which then will make the lich.

And before you tell me, yes I know that when the light flicker in the missions, signaling the presence of a maggot, you have the possibility of killing a lot of enemies or to stop killing for a minute straight, in order to make the maggot disappear.

If he has to do this every time he plays a normal Grineer mission just to avoid spawning a new lich, he has the right to feel sick.

  3. il y a 20 minutes, Prowombat a dit :

How does this make any sense its basically an optional mechanic... If they hadnt added it would you feel sick to your stomach and quit  warframe... like what just dont farm your lich then and play how your normally would.

Do you realize that, by ignoring the lich, that player will have missions with a lot of "stolen" rewards? For an optional mechanic, this one comes to bite you if you try to ignore it.

  4. As it stands, the weapon you get from the lich can vary too much in stats.

It's terrible when you see that your brand new lich has a terrible, badly rolled weapon in its hands, and you know you're going to grind really hard to fight it and gain almost nothing in return, just the fact that it will stop stealing from you.

    -----------------

Just going to add to this post rather than make a new one. Here's how I discovered liches & the old blood yesterday, and you will see that most of the problems come from a lack of information, on top of RNG :

Learns how to make a lich, go to Sedna to make a lich with Grendel, after leveling him up a little. Hurray, it has a Kuva Kohm, I love the Kohm.

-> But by making a lich with Grendel, it's an impact based Kohm, making it far less desireable. I did not know which Warfame would give which bonus, it was not written in game, nor is it logical on paper (Atlas toxin, Oberon Toxin...).

That's ok, i'll convert the lich! I grind real hard to have the desired Relics and Parazon Mod, failed multiple time (great source of frustration there), and finally, after dying 8+ times (another source here), I figured the right combination, and converted the lich.

Onto the next one then! This time, I go and kill the maggot with Khora, I want a poison one. Kuva Karak. THat's way less interesting but ok. Cue more grind, more death, and finally beating the lich.

The weapon has a nice status and crit chance, I potato it, and try it in some missions. Then I go to reddit, only to discover that the bonus on Kuva weapons can go up to 60% and more.

-> Mine was 25%, one of the worst possible, waste of a potato then.

That's... alright, I have hope for the next one. Go to Uranus, get no Maggot (did you know that killing too many enemies after the light flickering would make it flee? I did not, at the time.), Go to Sedna. Kuva Kraken, with 25% bonus. I now know that I will have to grind really hard for absolutely nothing except getting rid of this lich.

And then I went to bed, disgruntled.

  5. I despise the requiem relic system. Getting them is time gated and rng (a LOT of rng. Will you get one in Kuva Siphon? And Kuva Siphon or flood, what kind will you get?), refining them requires a lot of void traces. You need mods for the parazon, except you almost never get the ones you need, and everything else in the relic is pretty much useless or niche.

Edit : already said also, but Kuva liches can steal requiem relics. That's a no-no.

On the topic of stealing, can you limit the number of system controlled by a lich to its rank or something? My lich is on 5 or 6 systems, it's pretty annoying.

  6. Just a feedback about Regurgitate, I would like something like a guaranteed impact/explosive proc on enemies hit directly or in a small radius of a regurgitated enemy, based on the "weight" of the regurgitated enemy (impact if it's a Charger, explosive if it's a Nox for example).

As it is now, Regurgitate fails to give a feedback on enemies hit. They lose some health, but don't seem bothered at all about getting a half dissolved friend thrown forcefully at them.

  7. Hello,

Just asking for some QoL in one aspect of the new Disruption mission.

Disruption is a new endless mission, as such it is a mission where anyone in a party can exit provided the first rotation as been completed.

However, since the evacuation tile is very large, very open, you are pretty much a sitting duck while waiting for your ship.

Worst : the area has a large bottomless pit, no guard rail, and the enemy has Anti Moas ready to knock you back into the void, and so the timer restarts.

That is kinda frustrating for Warframes without cc at least.

  8. Hello, just citing the bugs I've encountered so far. All of them in a party, and not hosting.

If you fall at any point during or after the fight, the game thinks you're falling forever, making your screen black every 5 sec or so. Also, you stop reloading and fall through the cables if you're on one everytime it goes black if you have the bug.

If the Ropalolyst uses its Nullifying ability, and you're in Operator Mode, you are pretty much stuck in Operator Mode.

If it's during the last part of the fight, you're still stuck and good luck for reaching the last platform as the Operator. (Suggestion -> since Abilities are down after the boss fight, force us back into our Warframe.)

  9. I like her 3, it's lackluster yes, but with some number tuning, I can be a shield tank support armed with a Secura Penta.

I'm not a fan of her 1, it's cumbersome to use, and not very fun.

I'd like to be able to use something else than her 1 as a weapon during her 4

People became so lazy that they can not take a step back beafore shooting a croud of enemies? I never exeprienced problems with self-damage, it's obvious that it would be cheesy to shoot from the strongest launcher in the game right in the mouth of your enemy.

You can step back all you want, if you're using your Ogris from afar to take down some targets, and another warframe blocks your shot in front of your face, you will go down.

And they won't, and you're not the one playing badly there.

I'm all against the Tonkor in its current state, but let's be honest, it's hard to keep track of bouncy timed grenade in the middle of a fight.

Especially in this game where you have to be really mobile. You're bound to be hit by one of your own detonations. After the nerf, this one random hit will kill you. Sounds very unsafe to me, I'd take a Penta, even without tether grenades, over those timed disaster any day of the week.

  11. More and more weapon are getting alt fires with different stats than the primary fire (which is a good thing) ,

and also some weapons don't have their real stats written (Stug for instance, stats chance still are 0% while that's only true on impact, not on detonation).

Could we please get a button to see the alternate stats of those weapons? It's hard to mod a weapon for it's secondary fire only, if you can't see its stats.

  12.

I'm Really happy to see those changes, I just want to nitpick and point two things :

    Mutalist Quanta

One of the more abstract Weapons that uses the Alt-Fire mechanic, the Mutalist Quanta has confused people since launch.

    • The Mutalist Quanta is getting more of a mechanic change rather than just stats.
    • It will have its Alt-Fire stack similar to the Simulor to make a large Infested Orb that you can shoot through for additional advantages.

The main problem of that alt fire is getting the bubble in front of your target. The bubble is not that big, it travels often not where you need it to be. Changing it for a simulor like bubble system , at least on paper, does not change that issue. But we will see, I might be wrong.

Will the alt fire cost less ammo?

    Glaxion

The Ice Beam weapon: the Glaxion. Probably one of the most exciting weapons to imagine in combat, yet it has received a cold reception.

    • Cold Damage has increased to 333 from 250.
    • The rate at which ammo is consumed has been decreased.
    • Increased the Accuracy of the Glaxion.
    • Reduced the range from 30 meters to 24 meters.

The glaxion is an excellent weapon when wielded by capture target, but not by us. Why? Two reasons, the first is: laser based weaponry are slow to proc status, and second :  it's only efficient if you're against one target (and even then, better take a shotgun, death is the best crowd control).

This might change the day Combustion Beam will receive a buff. Buffing the glaxion's stats is, in my opinion, not the way to salvage the weapon.

  13. When using Equinox and using Duality as an augment, the Ferrox in hand, the spawned specter has a Ferrox in hand too, it will aim toward enemies, but will never fire.

I did not try with other kind of (crafted) specters.

Also I had a secondary but no melee weapon in my loadout, when equipped with my secondary, the specter did use the same secondary and shoot normally.

  14. Forgetting about the Ignis fiasco for a second, and just to make some constructive criticism on the event:

I like how the Kavors react in presence of enemies. They try to run past them, they rarely stop to shoot on one of them (they seem to disregard the smallest or most volatile infested, but will try to shoot ancient).

What I think could be improved, they barely see us, they often get stuck if you get in their path. They use weird routes and enjoy parkouring too much in certain tiles, sometimes taking a whole detour just to jump over a barrier.

I personally think ancients shouldn't be allowed to grab them. They take an awful long time getting back up, and anyway, unless you're playing specific frames, it's very hard to prevent them from being grabbed.

Also the manic sent to kill the survivors reacts badly to the mission, he seems confused between attacking us, attacking the survivor, or defending against the infestation (which also attacks him), and sometimes just ends up teleporting in and out doing nothing.

Ah, and if someone can explain to me why when a survivor falls, sometimes you just have to reach for him and heal hil back up, and sometimes they just die instantly?

But overall, this mission can be fun in the game, it's a little tedious to do repeatedly, but it's not a waiting game over a fixed point like MDef, Def, Excavation and by an extent Survival can be. Not truly a breath of fresh air, but an interesting take on escort missions. And for once, the escortees don't try to kill themselves, that's a good thing to note.

  15. Well, the Sentients were more or less an idea of a new faction. So far I must say that I hate their mechanics (infinite immunity to an element, forcing you use operator mode or a violent burst weapon. Disco ball of doom. Strange Light Pulse hitting you from anywhere... Those enemies lack readability), but I love their designs, which are pretty unique.

I wish DE would tone done their offensive / defensive abilities (or make another more basic and common soldier for that faction), and flesh out their lore and army ranks.

Did you go in Public?  It's possible that you spawned into an instance where the group had already completed the siphon...

I did go in public, but I did the mission from the start, and everyone was annoyed by the situation.

One of them also said that with the new system it was still 30% chance to have a Kuva siphon on a Kuva mission.

I don't believe that, I really hope that's not the case.
