  1. OP clearly states in bold that these are just assumptions from the stream and not conclusions. He/she's just posting for discussion so need to bark at him/her.

    I, however, disagree with you. I think the first ability will scale well. I think there is an AOE effect. And the golem ai is supposed to be shipped with a rework according to devstream. The stone wall is the only one that I think may not due well high level because it's small.

  2. He looks cool, and he's a quest Frame so may not need to farm him if it's like Chroma and not like Mesa. D:

    I like the rock golems~ he wont be lonery when soloing. I thought stream said there'd be 2 Golems or was there more to it when leveled or something?

    His first skill probably wasn't showcased as well though but hoping it's more violent and pummelly than it looked when we see the finished version.

    I've posted this in a few threads but I think the first skill may be stronger if you don't have a melee equipped. If u watch the devstream you can see that when he's unarmed he gets spikes on his fist and there seems to be an AOE effect.

I think that the first ability is stronger without a weapon equipped.  If you watch the gameplay where Rebecca was controlling Atlas with the axe and shield equipped, the punches didnt seem to have an AOE and there wasn't the fist spikes coming out of his hands.  But during the segment about the making of the sounds, Atlas had nothing equipped and the punches had huge AOE and interesting effects, plus spikes coming from the fists....Who knows though.

  4. I like the frame. But 2 things bother me thou. The Stone Scream is nice. I do like it but I wish he had an ability to buff melee dmg for him & teammates. It would also help his 4th gain a dmg buff. Maybe also try to throw an armor buff in their as well. Similar to Valkyr Warcry. Just instead of a speed & armor buff. It will be a dmg & armor buff. Seems fitting for him rather a scream that stones ppl. Because Valkyr is more of a brawler than this new frame. Another thing is his 4th. Never been a fan of that type of ability since Nekros. I honestly was prepared for him to throw his weapon on the ground. (On his back of course) & crack his knuckles & beat up some foes. Seems fitting because he looks like he wielding a new fist weapon. But it could be just for appearances. If they do a better job at pulling agro than Nekros then it could be fine. Hell even give them 1 ability. Give them Frost old Ice wave. Instead of ice of course. That would be dope too.  

    I 100% agree.  I REALLY hope that there are some good passives with the summon.  I actully think that the punching chain ability is going to be amazing and spammable.  And I also noticed the fist-spike in the "sounds of atlas" section gameplay.  I only noticed it when he didn't have any melee equipped.  I wonder if you get a buff for having no weapon equipped?  That would be interesting.

  5. He's growing on me and you all make great points!

     

    I really hope that the first ability is affected by weapon mods so we can get some crit speed and damage!  The more i think about it this may have the potential to get to Exalted Blade effectiveness if there is AOE and good damage.  While it probably won't be as effective since EB has stupid range and punch-through, it could still be great!

I was so hype for brawler frame but cant help feeling a bit disappointed because we ended up with a rock frame with 1 brawling skill.  I will say that the 1 brawling skill does seem pretty cool.  If this "brawling" move has an AOE the way it was shown in the devstream (around the 51:30 mark) then it could be a pretty effective move.  But just think of all of the possibilities that were missed out on a true brawler frame! Oh well :)

     

    So what do you all think about the powers?  Do you think they are cool? Do think they will scale?  Obviously this is just speculation and a way to pass the time :).

    The 20 second invisibility proc'd from trickery can dance through nullifiers undetected! I basically proc trickery 7 out of 10 bladestorms. And the bladestorm damage easily gets you into an hour of t4 surv with the combo counter multiplier. I Don't know why anyone would want to stay longer than that but to each their own. That being said, this gameplay style gets fairly boring.

  8. @Diarist: I think you should have a bit more faith. I am disappointed that all of his abilities are not centered around 'brawling' but I think his first ability will be cool and hopefully make him feel like a brawler. As for the element that he's attached to, I hope that turns out alright!
