The Burston Prime changes lowered it's total DPS

Ouch, but also doesn't that apply to like.. most of these semi auto changes? I'm pretty sure it's not an outlier here, the damage buffs all seem notably smaller than the fire rate decrease except for like 2 exceptions (which I will be busting out at least), which feels like a real shame, not as broad a list as I hoped either.

The buff duration of Split Flights is my biggest issue with it in practice (excluding weapon limitations or what have you), especially when you consider that it takes at least one hit to bring your weapon up to where Split Chamber brought it before. Bow weapons are slow firing by their nature, and two seconds is too limiting for practical use. Five seconds would be a more fair time for the buff - I also think two seconds would work if the stacks decayed one at a time instead of resetting entirely.

Didn't realize it resets entirely and wow I gotta say all my interest vanished as such.

Making it decay by one would be okay, or yeah more duration.

I thought it always had the aim glide. If you remove the aim glide, how do you tell your attack to slam or toss the contagion blade? Back in the day before we could point our slam attacks, it was simple. Just don't look down. But now you can point your slam attacks into different angles.

I suppose probably the same as sigma & octantis. Which is.. I guess, slamming requires being fairly far down pointed? Gotta be honest, even if it couldn't slam at all any more would that really be such a bad sacrifice? Anyone who loves slamming a bunch, and wants to double jump before slamming could just... not use this arcane. The same way someone that wants lots of slams might not use sigma & octantis.

I've had this Exodia since the first Plague Star event. I'm pretty sure you always had to to "aim" while in the air to make it work after a double jump, no? Maybe that's just how I did it and it wasn't a requirement....

Anywho my current gripe is that there was a time post-melee 3.0 that you didn't have to full equip it to get it to fire off and you could still aim-glide and shoot it out with a quick melee.... maybe it's a bug or something, IDK.

It definitely did not used to have the aim glide requirement. I guarantee you this. Like I said, I've had it since the first plague star as well. Just double jump, no aim glide.

Also what do you mean? You can still do that process without it actively out, 80% sure, the act of meleeing brings it out of course, but. I think the first of such still sends the projectile out just fine?

Removing the double jump / bullet jump requirement will turn all zaws into an infected cannon. Then it will be widely used by everyone, and get caught into DE nerf radars. Its base damage multiplier will be reduced or fall off will be lowered. Is that what you want?

I did not ask for double/bullet removed, please read. Just the aim glide part of it, exactly how it used to be. Still have to perform those actions, but only do any melee in the air to launch, not aim glade. It wasn't too good back then when that's exactly how it worked, well it was but only because of covert lethality doing 100% health damage on the projectiles, not because it was a 'cannon'. I'm not asking for that part back. And frankly, even though removing the aim glide requirement won't increase it's output at all, and you're operating on a misconception: yes, I'd be willing to sacrifice some of the weapon's damage for it being less carpal tunnel inducing (there's no reason or need to nerf it though). I used to like it when it was brand new but shelved it because it was suicidal (and less OP after they nerfed it a few times), now I brought it back out for this event, I like it, but I'm gonna shelve it because it kills my hand to use.

  4. Specifically the part of Exodia Contagion that requires "while aim gliding" to launch projectiles. This zaw arcane didn't used to have that requirement, I'm not sure when they added 'aim gliding' as part of it's formula, but I do understand why: Back when this arcane was new I used it quite a bit with my dagger zaw, and I'd not infrequently end up dying to it, having recently bullet jumped, and then trying to melee something.

The addition previously made sense as a safety mechanism, but it's also a bigger hassle to perform especially if you use the attack with any frequency.. Now that self damage is just staggers, this arcane feels like an unnecessary recipe for hand pain: jump, jump, right click, melee, repeat. Removing the aim glide step from it would take so much away from that, and the reason that safety was added is already gone anyways.

I get it, it's a fairly minor thing in the grand scheme of things, just a reasonably niche branch of melee weapons, but something like this event where spamming it works pretty well really highlights how that extra step is a relic of before the self damage changes.

The Elements are in base Dmg, you will not get speciffic effect, when Status chance is equal to 0, from those Elements. According to this:

Example: Archgun modded for Radiation and Cold. You can see Freeze effect from Cold, but not Confusion from Radiation, not even Tesla chain and Ignite, if, as someone stated, Radiation splits to Electricity and Heat.

The thing I don't think you understand is that elements are a proportion of a weapon's damage even when they're NOT PROCCING. Radiation damage doesn't have to turn into 'base damage' to not proc, it can not proc by simply being made to not proc. Radiation's appeal is that as a damage type it's strong against stuff like grineer, which has nothing to do with proccing.

The percentage of the gun's damage that's radiation will also be a percentage that itself is multiplied by... like 75%? Same principle as people building radiation for eidolons even though no status procs work on eidolons, it just does more damage due to type weakness.

And y'know, dual stats specifically not being able to proc is great in this case, because radiation proc sucks, it's the damage type that's good, and it not proccing means things like puncture and slash can proc more often while also getting the damage type benefit of rad.

I've been using it a lot today and I'm at forma #2. It's accurate enough for short to mid range and it packs a punch... wow! Though I always aim when I shoot. At one point I slotted Argon Scope and I was getting consistent head shots with it. It's definitely worth a potato and the 5 forma in my opinion.

Is 100 the maximum accuracy? Is this even a percentage?

Correct, while ADSing the accuracy is relatively fine, it's just cheeks if you hip fire. The accuracy stat is not the issue, there are guns with 20 accuracy that are infinitely better than this gun, it's an innate detail to the gun that it doesn't actually do it's accuracy at all.

It's still a usable gun, yes, but it's a usable gun that REQUIRES ADSing if you want crits, which is stupid, and makes it basically just a mediocre sniper instead of a decent rifle. It should be more like grinlok, but it's not.

  7. The artificial inaccuracy is such a massive disappointment, and kinda infuriating. It's HORRIBLE from the hip, even though it's whole point is it's one of the few semi auto rifles that ISN'T a sniper. Why must it suffer the same things as snipers?

I can't even mod the accuracy better, only mod it worse. Except the super conditional mod that is on ADS and shooting already... when I want to be able to hip fire it.

It's like, if you just aim for feet it works okay, but that squanders the whole concept of 'increased precision' what a joke.

I still miss back when Vectis used to have perfect hip fire accuracy back in the day, I'd honestly trade the sniper combos DE added to have hip fire back. This gun should offer that trade, but it doesn't.

  8. Please. Just allow redeemer and glaives to do charge attacks any time again. Bad enough that now the good bullet dance doesn't work while pressing forward, needing to be in stance to shoot redeemer or throw glaives SUCKS.

Honestly I don't see why all weapons can't do heavy attacks any time, for that matter, now that it has to be a new keybind (honestly I'd like an option to go back to holds too personally... getting to the point keybinds are becoming a hassle)

  9. "Holding F doesn't equip melee" yeah, you go melee by pressing melee now. A separate and really annoying issue is the fact the first melee while swapping to melee is still a quick melee instead of the stance, and I personally hate this for gunblades specifically, limits their quick firing power immensely.

I assumed channeling was intentionally dumped entirely, is that not the case? They specifically said mouse is now gun only, soo, it's clearly not meant to be there any more whether it exists in any form. Maybe you can rebind it to something else in settings? You should check, and put it not on the same button as shoot if possible.

Block combos are another issue too... but the fact is they did say this was the first step of new melee, so it's not that surprising some things aren't right yet.

  10. Hold keys are always kinda uncomfortable, and also make it a bit harder to press other buttons at the same time.

For her 1, I get it, it's a matter of multiple functionalities. But for her 4, there's just... no reason for it to be a hold. The tap isn't designated to anything, it's just a matter of "make it uncomfortable just because". Double tapping it when you want an abysmally small circle for some reason would be a fair price to pay for not having to hold in my opinion.

The discomfort of holding down her 4 for like 5 seconds is single handedly making me not want to play her. Fairly minor gripe, I know, but something that seems so easy to be improved.

    Happy Monday, Tenno!

Please note that this morning we have hit the ground running with 'item names/labels on grids/icons'. Plenty of mockups are being worked on, and we may have some iterations on this as soon as this week. More to come!

Can we please have seeing our squadmate's equipment without mousing over back, too? Particularly obnoxious for keysharing but never an improvement to need to mouse over to see gear instead of it just being visible like before on esc menu. It's not like there isn't space for it even on the smallest monitors.

  12. One time when I switched to Operator it put me back outside at the very entrance of sanctuary. Can't figure out a way to get back into where the actual enemies are. Like, outside the gate.Well, actually dying proved one method to get back in, the only way to die seemed to be the rest of the team moving onto the next zone though. Which is pretty inconvenient. Maybe the entrance could always function?

We're discussing Vault Accessory packs for future unvaultings. These packs require far too much planning to create one so quickly (without some serious wizardry). So players who purchase the bundles now will get these items well in advance of anyone who decides to wait for a future unvaulting and possible Vault Accessories pack.

Looking forward to that hopeful eventuality. Thanks for this, fingers crossed.

  14. Even worse, it can no longer shoot through snow globes, both ALLY & ENEMY ones. Both were relatively nice/strong respectively, but not broken or anything. No more warranted a change than how they changed the wall hacks, leading to something that frequently floats over an enemy.

Presumably both of these changes went live at the same time, fairly recently.

Hopefully a bug instead of intended but I wouldn't bank on it. I still wish they'd revert both of these, but hopefully they'll at least revert this. Shooting through Ramparts/Enemy Eximuses was satisfying and neat while being mostly unimpactful, and shooting through ally snowglobes was just QoL.

  15. Honestly probably better as Feedback than Bug Report, but I suppose you can make a case for them not being separate being a bug. Either way, yeah that'd be a good change. This is nearly as bad as the bug where Phaedra didn't used to show in profile either.

  16. No fix at all for bounties not **working**? Not giving rep is fine and all, but we still have

    a) Vaults not opening after completing

    b) "I will let Konzu know we have failed" on ENTERING the plains solo

    c) Protect drone bounty sometimes giving you a circle you're supposed to stay in... at the start of the bounty, which you're required to leave to protect it, but auto fails it to do so. The worst part is B and C were things I hadn't seen UNTIL the hotfix before this one.

And A has been here since day 1, completely unfixed.Just had it happen again by the way.
