    Assistance with getting back into Warframe

    Greetings Tenno,

    Since the release of the Plains of Eidolon, I've found myself listless in direction.  I've struggled to find a reason to login and I think this is due to the new vastness that the Plains and the Orb Vallis have provided.

    So, I am asking you all for help.  Do any of you know of some good guides on here or on YouTube that will guide me through all of the new content from the Plains of Eidolon onwards?  I've done a few bits but I am looking to approach this from a new player perspective to ensure that I do not miss a thing.

    I look forward to your responses and thank you for your time in advance.

    Switched From Jack Headphones To Usb - Lost All Sound

    Good morning.

     

    I've recently purchased and installed a new Siberia Raw Prism headset from Steelseries to replace my old headset, also from Steelseries (I can't remember the model).  The old set was traditional jacks, one for sound and one for mic.  This new headset is a USB set.

     

    I've tried all of my other games that I play and the sound works perfectly.  It's only Warframe that won't work.  I get the launcher sound when the game is ready to play but nothing in-game.

     

    Help!

    I'm sorry, what's your point exactly? 

    They ARE trying to reduce the memory usage wherever they can, 

    just because YOU are too lazy to upgrade your 20 year old computer, it's their fault? 

    I have both low-end and high-end systems and all of them can run warframe just fine.

    I'm not "too lazy" to upgrade in the slightest.  It is a case of not having the money to upgrade.  Not all of us come from privileged families.  You say they're trying wherever they can yet I seldom see it in patch notes.  Small tweaks such as a toggle to remove player models would be of great help.  It is the sheer amount of rendering for each player model that causes a memory runaway afterall.

     

    Additionally, your point of "all of them can run Warframe just fine", for the record my PC also runs it fine on medium graphics.  It is simply any area with a high population density that causes me problems.

    Something something AAA companies having more money and resources something something...

     

    That is complete nonsense.  Have you seen the quality of the updates and general content coming out of DE?  I'm sure they have PLENTY of resources to properly optimise their game.  If a company wishes to support the older operating systems, they should do it properly or not at all, no?

    Hello.

     

    Once again, I cannot get into the relay to visit Baro Ki'Teer due to insufficient memory errors.  This problem has plagued Win32 systems for a long time in Warframe and I'm getting annoyed that I cannot enjoy the same content as others due to developer laziness.  If AAA companies like ArenaNet can at least attempt to reduce memory usage in their 32bit clients, so can you.

    Good morning Tenno.

     

    This is exclusively a relay-related problem.  Whenever my computer attempts to load into a relay that has a high number of players, the game freezes and an "Insufficient video memory" error box pops up.  As you can imagine, this is quite annoying when trying to get to Baro Ki'Teer to spend my ducats.

     

    Is there anyway a player model hiding feature could be implemented into Warframe to reduce video memory load?  I play an MMORPG called "Aion" and that game has this feature when roaming around cities that contain a lot of players.  The hotkey is simply SHIFT + F12, which removes the models but retains the player names.

     

    Thoughts?  I could provide screenshots to explain what I mean if there is any confusion.

    Hi.

     

    Baro Ki Teer has spawned and I can't get to him.  I'm constantly having to end the warframe.exe process because the game freezes when trying to render players.

     

    Help!  I want to finish my Prisma Daedalus set and grab a Prisma Skana.

    Continuous Insufficient Memory Errors

    Good morning.

     

    Can we please have Baro Ki'Teer appear in ALL surviving relays?  I'm desperately trying to pick up my Prisma Daedalus armour pieces but I can't because, even on the lowest graphical settings, I'm getting insufficient memory errors because of the entire playerbase swarming Larunda relay and mobbing around the void trader.

     

    Yes, I know, my fault for still using a 32-bit system but I can't afford a 64-bit system at the moment.  Either that or could people stop swarming him and standing AFK there?  You're spoiling it for those of us that aren't as privileged as you to have nice PCs.

    Oi!

     

    You broke my Paris Prime and my Dread.  They won't sit on my warframe's back properly whilst in the Liset.  I'll grab a screenshot tomorrow if someone else hasn't already, for now I must sleep.

     

    Hopefully it'll be hotfixed soon.
