  1. There is definitely something you are doing with the forum that is just plainly wrong. I can put in wow + anything in seconds I will find a link to the wow forum discussing that topic.

Regardless of what I try it won't work with google and the warframe forum. I have yet to be directed to the forum with any question I have.

For example: https://forums.warframe.com/ ash    will redirect me to your facebook site, but not a single topic discussing ash. Clearly this is not how it should be.

Going for directly by site:  site:forums.warframe.com/ ash     will yield a single result that means, that you are not allowing google to crawl through the forum and it is just garbage like that.

  2. I have an ash and loki would have been the stronger pick. Decoy has value in defense missions.

    Ash abilities:

Shuriken: Useless even in stealth runs.

Teleport: Didn't even use it yet.

Smokescreen: Very strong and makes you invulnerable while casting it allowing you to evade knockbacks or whatever thing might just be about to hit you.

    Bladestorm: Useless.

I don't know why people think his ultimate/bladestorm is good. You can do a single smokescreen and clear the mobs faster in melee and it will help you as you are invulnerable as soon as the animation starts and it will CC all mobs around you. So I see absolutely no point in even slotting the ultimate.

Health of Ash is very lovely though so you won't need a vitality slot. Ash can be played with smokescreen only very effectively and you can then add rush/quickrest/redirection/fast deflection and unfortunately you will run out quickly of unpolarized slots.

You will definitely want a continuity card to rank 4 to get 4 fully charged melee (e.g. gram) hits out of stealth. You will mostly need 2 hits even for ancients unless you play high wave & level defence missions.

I guess that is a given for both loki and ash, but loki has several useful abilities so you might want to slot them too.

  3. Affinity points, full stop. If I play a match at my current level, all the kills are taken by other players. So, why play with others? Play solo then, at least I can level up my gears without problems. But again, why play a coop game? And please, I'm not accusing people who pay, because I think that it's right for them to have advantages, I agree completely, but you have to admit that it's kinda frustrating seeing yourself deal only a handful of damage when others oneshoot targets.

P.S. I read only now the ''against'' in your question, I'm sorry. You don't win against other players, you're right, but you can dominate them which, in my opinion, is the same thing.

That problem is probably with you. Although I am a founder my single best weapon is a lvl 30 gram that I crafted, it isn't supercharged. It oneshots basically most of the stuff and you don't need more then that. The latron, which again I didn't platbuy or supercharge, oneshots a lot of mobs aswell.

So maybe you should invest some of your playing time into googling a bit about the game and your frustrations will vanish.

  4. It doesn't really matter how much they made. For every founder there is a lot more non-founders and they cost money too and will continue to do so. There is no such thing as made enough money.

  5. I still think, that frames are good in the 10-15$ price range. Although it seems like a lot you save a lot of grind on that one and it ensures that not too many people just buy all the friggin warframes and are literally done with the game.

You have to realize how it is people tend to not come back to games. People play & are into it and if they drop out they are lost likely gone for good or gone for years. I think it is very likely for people to stop playing once they have all their favorite warframes and even if you really like half of them and you buy a single one or two that gives the game a longevity of maybe 200 hours, which is not a lot of time to spend money on.

So warframe prices should be a little bit discouraging and weapon prices should be a lot more encouraging.

So given that new warframes are effectively the only content I would, for the time, make them a lot harder to get via F2P. Especially in terms of materials. Farming a complete warframe with credit farming included takes like 2-3 hours tops and that should not be the case at all. It should be really heavy on the materials so you just can't start forging all 3 blueprints at once then purchase the last BP and call it a day for 3 days ;)

While this may seem to be unrelated to the issue, it actually adds to the issue of pricing. The warframes aren't really worth 15$ yet because once you know tolstoj farm and g ood material farm it is maybe worth 5$ as you said. For someone that isn't very efficient you might get a 10$ish respone in terms of correct pricing.

    So try this:

Make all weapons except 1 shotgun, 1 rifle, 1 melee weapon, 1 pistol and the starter weapons non purchaseable by credits. Increase the warframe material cost by somewhere between x5 to x10. Make sure warframes don't use the same material twice. I think loki costs on two parts 500 rubedo so that could potentially mean 10.000 rubedo which is too much of a single material.

Keep the weapons where they are at now in terms of material cost or think about doubling them too. That way people that switch frames are in somewhat of a pickle and may feel to relieve their pain by spending a couple of bucks.

It may sound harsh, but the reality is that we won't see most people just doing a map for the heck of it. Nothing to farm anymore and they are gone. This will help to keep players that currently pool in to stay until something else beside farming is considered endgame.

  6. Mag is useless. Excals Slash Dash deals  more damage quicker....

Basically you really need trinity, nyx, stealth

    The rest doesn't matter.

Trinity/Nyx are invaluable for defense missions. Stealth allows for huge AoE Melee Crits in a bunch of ancients stacking up.

Bosses in a team are not an issue to begin with and even if you have nyx he can stunlock bosses via mind control.

  7. Isn't good yet is unacceptable.

They are losing customers with this. If a new player with not a big wallet and little grinding time comes. Willing to spent maybe 5-10$/month sees, that a single weapon costs up to 15€ he might turn around and leave.

What would you think if you went to burger king//mcdonalds and see a simple burger at 5$ and double cheese at 3,50$? ;)

Now those oddities are at every corner. Peeing 0.5$, taking a dump for free.....

Pricing is not a thing to be done in the near future. It had to be done weeks before pricetags were set.

  8. Prices are just too random and without real planning.

As an example completely rushing a loki would cost you: 75 ( 3 parts ) + 50 final step and you would still need 20 (slot) + reactor ( 20 ). Not only would you have paid more platinum but also have used up 110k credits and other mats.

That is just one example to show, that the rushing 'generalized' pricepoint at its current iteration is awkward at best.

Other examples would be: Catalyst/Reactor rushing, Volt, Mag,...

It also should be a difference if you rush it with 6h crafting left or 3d. By staying at full price all the time you are only discouraging the customer to rush at all the more time passed.

    Weapons:

    Sicarius: 12k credits // 120 Platinum

    Furis: 15k credits // 120 Platinum

Lato: 4k credits // 50 Platinum ( this is already borderlining scam )

    MK-1 Braton: 8k Credits // 50 Platinum

Basically all weapons, that you can purchase for creds are overpriced.

Akbolto is another good case. You can only craft it, even if we assume the mats are free you get it for 225 plat I think while you get a 50k credit weapon for the same price. However the akbolto crafting will cost you more then 100k to craft so the plat value you gain from buying it is greatly better than most other cases. It also doesn't help for most 'could purchase with cred cases' that it comes supercharged.

This is not how I think a good pricing structure looks like.

Once you have a good marketplace price structure you can fix the rushing future price determined by how much time is saved (safed?) and how costy the item is on the marketplace.

  9. Wall running is just outright glitchy as hell and when you try out a new 'way' you have a hard time reproducing the exact same jump.

E.g. trying to wallrun from a box. Results will be from climbing it, wallrunning it, nothing happens etc. Or divekick jumping and touching a pole sending you into wallrun -> walljump and hitting something again. This is very cool but you can't reproduce the same jump twice in a row and that makes it kinda worthless as you cannot incorporate it wonderfully into your way of playing the game.

I mean sometimes you get a wallrun while running straight having the crosshair perfectly in the middle of screen instead of wallclimbing.

I know there are designated spots for wallrunning, but that is just half the fun. Everything starts falling apart when the space you have to run/jump becomes very small.

  10. The problem with that is, that I still have the weapon fully modded and as it gains ranks it gains mod capacity. Had I supercharged the weapon I would end up with 90 mod slots availible to that weapon.

  11. A freshly claimed viper suddenly has rank 28 (almost 29) without it ever having fired a shot. That experience bug did not persist  through logout/in.

I had a rank 28 (almost 29) Bolto equipped and decided to start crafting the akbolto. For that purpose I used the leveled gun and a rank 0 bolto. The rank 0 bolto and the rank 28 viper where crafted at the same time. However I do not know if the viper spawned with lvl 28 or if it hit lvl 28 after I started crafting the akbolto.

This is what I did completely:

    Claim bolto (rank 0)

    Claim Viper (unknown rank)

Craft Akbolto (selected rank 28 & rank 0)

    Equip Viper

    ???

Viper has lvl 28, almost 29 identical to what my leveled bolto had.

tl;dr. Viper was claimed less then 2 minutes when I noticed, that it had that level. I never had the chance to take it into a mission prior to it having lvl 28.

P.S.: This is a howto and I think it might work with every other pistol.
