  1. i can deal with controls. and slamming into all the walls. what really discourages me from playing much aw is lack of content. i don't count submersible tileset as content because that's just. ugh.

but we have what, 5 missions in the entire starchart? with maybe 2 being worth anything in terms of gaining xp? if i had some variety maybe i'd play more.

Yeah, sure, early game could be simple missions and then increase the chance of getting more than one objective as you progress further into the game. You could still have a single objective mission on Sedna for example, but it would be more likely to get 3-4 objectives

ah yes, let me go in expecting an endless mission and getting capture/spy/thing after 3 min instead

i would be behind the idea if it was maybe node or two per planet where you could expect random string of objectives for change of pace, but not for every node.

  3. be happy it doesnt drop 1-2 at a time like back in the day (too bad SO doesn't have resource drop it spawns oxium ospreys like crazy)

try going prowlvara with smeeta on some high level spy for change of pace, i usually get at least 100 without even trying.

It's true but it's not the only problem.

If we weren't able to spam like crazy, abilities could stay powerful.

What's the problem with molecular prime beside how OP it is ? It's the fact enemies are CONSTANTLY affected by it.

When the wave ends, nova can cast a new one, or even before that if she wants to.

There are many problems, but DE won't fix them because that would mean nerfing and making it less casual, and players won't like any of these.

alright, maybe i was making a very broad statement with 'it's not abilities that are OP'. corrupted mods are just a thing that came to mind first.

i agree there are many problems, but instead of taking admittedly very hard job of balancing both sides, DE just lets creep and cheese pile up on both sides, enemy and player. i don't have some grand ideas either, but limiting us in some ways could lead to less cheese and in turn stop the enemy cheese (no more forced invulnerability because we stunlock and OHK everything otherwise and so on). we can still stay casual if both sides are somewhat balanced.

i remember when i first started. i didn't even know corrupted mods were a thing, i didn't have flow or streamline or intensify, and i was still able to progress pretty well. it was hard at times of course, but not impossible. i had to play bit smarter than just P4W and spray and pray, and i kinda miss those days

Even if they did make the event in a way that force us to kill enemies, like preventing healing powers, it wouldn't have changed much.

People would've still used full CC and just switch trinities for something that easily kill anything just to get the power cells (mirage with eclipse / nova for double damage / ash for finisher damage type etc...) or even worse, use health refilling plates.

The problem is, warframes are so OP that nothing can be made interesting, any kind of mission can be cheesed, and that won't ever change because they don't want to nerf the warframes, and if they did, MANY players wouldn't be happy, because the game would be less casual.

Look at how OP some abilities are... bastille / molecular prime / chaos and many more, these abilities have so much range and CC they make the game easy, and as long as trinity and energy plates are a thing, you can't expect anything to be balanced with OP abilities that are fueled by EV.

Of course we can stop complaining and don't use these frame, but when the event ask you to do a very long run, well let's cheese.

(I still think cooldown instead of energy could be a really great thing, but most players hate that, and the devs hate that idea aswell)

it's not abilities themselves that are OP imo, it's the fact that we are given so many tools to powercreep and DE forces themselves into a corner of trying to challenge us. we are so OP the only way to threaten us is to make us protect fragile dying NPCs/objects.

instead of taking a deep breath and hitting us, they are trying to come up with ways to make us stop for a moment and reasses our priorities. which just results in more meta behaviour. imo the worst offender for frames are corrupted mods and if i was in charge i'd rework that. either bigger penalties that make you think 'am i really willing to sacrifice x to get bit more y' or limit it to 'you can only equip 1 at a time' for starters. not to mention the weapons we have at our disposal, all the pizza plates and zenurik passive. you don't even need trin, just couple minutes for infinite energy.

i'm not advocating NERF ALL FRAMES. but a rework of tools we have would be good, instead of more and more powercreep and cheap enemy designs like nullifiers ('we don't know what to do anymore so have your abilities temporarily disabled!') or 'invulnerable just so you can't OHK it because you have all the means for it'

  6. i think i could stomach the controls and disconnecting from regular gameplay if there was actually anything to play. i don't particularly dislike aw, actually, i like to play interception from time to time when everything else gets boring. that's the issue tho. with camera/control issues grineer interception map is the only one that's truly comfortable to me and also the only mission worth playing in regards to getting xp.

it's a shame that for such hyped up system DE failed to deliver so hard. it's been 2 years already? and there is not enough content to show for it. i don't demand more weapons or mods or archwings or new mission types. but having more than 7 missions in all star chart would be a start.  i don't think it's that hard to add few more nodes and tweak levels. i won't even ask for more tilesets, though kuva fortress has nice looking atmosphere that is just wasted on quest intro

  7. better pathfinding for the love of god. yesterday we've had 3 out of 4 guys making beeline from point b to point a no problem, but 4th decides to be a special snowflake and run around entire room before he rejoins others around life support. constantly. or if he insists on being suicidal, stop counting it as loss. he is no big loss to anyone if he insists on being $&*&*#(%& like that

Stop rushing out half baked mechanics, and FINISH Something for once. That would help.

yes, immensely. aw hasn't been touched for 4 major updates, and even when they did the results were poor, even if we ignore the control issues, the fact is they force it on us but there is very little actual content for it. focus has been out for over a year and they are still 'working on it'. syndicates are getting some attention but for long while they were pretty forgotten after vivergate apart from 'the required sacrifice changed due to vaulting' and 'here, some OP weapons'. lua is example of new tileset that has several different incentives to go back to repeatedly (challenge rooms, sentients, acolyte mods in spy vaults). kuva fortress iss none of that.

more cosmetics are great imo. i'd rather they concentrate their money-grabbing in that direction than in anything that could greatly impact gameplay and content. but even more than new content i'd prefer good hard polishing on all the piled up stuff.

i don't want any more nonsensical lore. i just want more reasons to stray outside of select few nodes because everything else is waste of time.

  9. honestly time is the least issue here from what i've seen on forums. we've had events before that lasted set amount of time. events are not quests. if you can't participate/didn't join game on time to catch event, that's too bad but suck it up and carry on. de IS bringing back old event weapons anyway. slowly, but they are doing it.

As a rest, I will not change my opinion that players don't  play where is no Profit, simplified, because thanks to my, around, 3,5k hours I can write a book about that.

ah, so you were happy to farm tellurium when you could only get it from aw and didn't like when we got more choices where to get it? your english is kinda hard to follow at moments, so maybe that's why we are misunderstanding each other.

Tellurium, sorry, but u have no idea what I'm talk about

Tellurium is a rare component, and is dropped by Archwing enemy units, or as an Alert reward. As of Update 17.0, Tellurium can be acquired on Uranus. (quoted from wikia)

players don't spare resources from "dead" planets and they are surprised when it's late

and why should they farm resources from dead planets? they are 'dead' for a reason, and that reason is that those planets are waste of time. people will crowd to the nodes which best reward the time spent. of course they will go high level survival/defense/interception instead of venus capture or such. the issue here is that you don't really need meta squad to make decent progress for most other materials. but for hema you have to go one place with no good incentive, buy boosters and take all the loot frames modded for optimised looting to make actual dent into requirement. it's not 'I WANT IT NOW'. it's 'dear god don't let this turn into a norm'

it's NOT player's fault that we have abundant stockpiles for like 97% of resources. it's result of their unbalanced commonness/rarity all across star chart. it's the result of not having decent sinks for most of them.

U hit the point. I'll continue with Hieracon, Akkad, Bere. U know what all this nodes, which majority of playerbase play thanks to Bad rule #4: We call Greed and Personal Profit Efficiency here? There are no Mutagen Samples, well except poor Drop on Eris. I'm 100% sure that u r clever enough to discover for yourself why DE choose MS and not a Detonite Ampules or Fieldron Samples. I think it's time to stop for a while and ask yourself: Is it really DE or we just play this game wrong way?

i know why DE chose MS and not detonite or fieldron. they deliberately went after the thing we have least of (because it drops in only 2 places; eris with it bad drop chance, derelict which has no real incentive to go there after void was nuked. any derelict exclusive stuff you can better farm in quick missions, no need to sit ODD/ODS for ages to scan cats and do vaults.) they don't know how to create content so instead they give us grind to give illusion of content and give sorry excuses for all the mess.

if they really wanted to make clans great or whatever, they should've done something like color pigments system. or give something that justifies the cost. like new fancy ship. if we were farming for new liset, it'd at least make ~some sense to have astronomical costs. new liset would mostly just be cosmetic, not MR fodder or lock for future research, hopefully. i don't think people would riot over high grinding cost for cosmetics. cosmetics are supposed to be pay to have content anyway.

but no, i guess it's us players that are doing things wrong
