  1. When it comes out we assume that the unbalance is actually correct, so when stuff starts being balanced out to fit the game's (new!) mechanics we think of it as a nerf. It's not. It's fixing something. The potato and formas you're using are to advance the weapon or the frame to it's new, actually better, maximum.

Y'all are complaining about something that's very common in games like this. New stuff is added, needs to be balanced out. This game is still in beta. Money you spend is money spent on a beta. It's always going to be edited and always going to be 'nerfed' and you don't always have to like it but when you spend money on this, you have to realize you're spending money on an unfinished product that may be changed in the future. And if that is an issue to you, don't spend money.

  2. Haven't gotten him yet, but I need. NEED. I mostly use Volt, having him as a Prime finally is honestly so exciting. Unfortunately not having a lot of luck with the towers and I'm still without a chassis and blueprint.

He got buffed in all the right places. I already love how much of a beast he is with my current mods, I can't wait to see what the Prime version would be like.

  3. Was farming for T4 keys today, when we suddenly got a Parasite Eximus. Which is weird, considering it was a Grineer controlled area, on Sedna.

Fortunately, the level 35 Infested wasn't interested in us! It was only attacking the Grineer, and couldn't be harmed by us. None of its powers, nor ours, had any use. It kept being there, wasn't marked on the map as an enemy, turned passive when the wave was over, and attacked the Grineer when they arrived again.

Were infested added as companions? :P

Here's a clip (and sorry it's so awfully long, didn't have much time to edit it lol)

  4. I just came back after months of inactivity, and I have no idea what has happened in Warframe since I left shortly after Nyx Prime's release. I heard Frost Prime is being retired, Volt Prime came out (but locations for PS4 are still not listed on the Wiki, but it's out?) reworks on frames, and suddenly Chroma, Mesa and Limbo? What the heck did I all miss??

  5. you have ALOT to learn

Didn't mean 'at the bottom' as in 'bad frame'. :) Meant at the bottom as in 'low number at this specific trait'

But as I already said, ya'll made good points! Which I didn't entirely take into consideration in my first post. I'm running with Volt more and changed my build a bit. S'all good. I had a question, had it answered, got shouted at for a bit, changed my mods and now I'm statisfied. (Though this post will probably be skipped in future replies. As such is the fate of OP posts.)

Also Einde made a good point: Volt isn't super easy to master straight off the bat. Especially when you skip all tutorials and you suck for the next five months. (I'm a terrible player. I'm sorry. I've changed my ways.) It'll kinda change your bias. With a.. better mod configuration and more experience he's better to play.

Please I love Volt a lot though I just saw the armor and wondered about a thing please don't hurt me.

  6. Hm. My gut feel says Trinity. After that most definitely Volt and I will jump on both immediately. No money though. Poor child. :(

Soma Prime though. The battle of Boltor Prime and Soma Prime in the Region chat will be unleashed, and I do not want to see that.

  7. Well frost does have 360 degree shield :)

I play Ember which is wrapped in paper instead of armor, so I learned early on to use cover and stay mobile.

I try to keep shield abilities out of perspective. Honestly just looking to the frame outside of the abilities in that particular post.

EMBER! I knew there was another with 15 armor. She just looks so.. strong I hadn't considered her at all.

  8. Edited the main post a bit. Gets me wondering why I see him so little so often.

You guys are right though. But I still notice I'm at risk of bleeding out more when I play Volt than when I play, say, Frost. I'm not sure. Probably because I lack the ability to place his electric shield well oh dear.

    EDIT: ON THE OTHER HAND...

What if you're surrounded? Quickly popping a few shields can already take enough time for you to go down.

  9. ... not digging the low armor rating. It just feels like he's so fragile because of it. Thankfully his shields aren't low, but he's at the bottom with Zephyr and Banshee. Taking him out on tougher missions is definitely something that takes me more than three times to consider. Which reminds me, I barely see him, Zephyr, or Banshee, anywhere. It's like people avoid them in missions higher in level than Earth. And as someone who adores Volt and wants to use him a lot, it makes me a bit sad.

But with the perspective of it being just my opinion, I'm curious about other people. Is Volt's low armor an issue, according to you?
