  1. Vitriol is a dish best served... Soon

It does seem to me that a lot of people are really worked up over this whole Archwing jobbie. Honestly, I just enjoy playing Warframe. Stuff will get done, U15 will come, sure it would be great to have it sooner. Deep breaths are great for this kinda stuff...

Don't mean to put anyone off, just trying to be a voice of reason.

...with a dash of humor ;)

  2. Off the top of my head:

-If you want to maximize the effectiveness of speed nova, you need a low/unranked mprime.

-If you want to have any sane level of control over movement skill distances(rhino charge, slash dash, tailwind), you have to control their duration, including using lower ranked versions to make sure you don't go too far. For example, if you max out duration for your tornadoes and turbulance, your tailwind will make you uselessly crash in to the ceiling/walls on every single button press, so you spend very little time playing and very much time slamming in to geography and going "oh hell, I've gotta change this".

-If you want to spam rhino stomp, you need a very low duration. This requires lower ranked stomp.

-If you want to control the range on sonic boom, pull, or other "goes further as it gets stronger" skills(say, for example, you don't want to throw things across the map with sonic boom, just knock them over), you need to use a lower ranked version of it.

These are just a few examples. Making things go as far as you want to, and making things last as long as you want to, often require using lesser-ranked or unranked versions. Losing control over what rank they are means losing control over how strong they are. Not everything is "best at max".

EDIT: Oh, also, shuriken only throws 1 shuriken at lower ranks. Very helpful if you're trying to do a stealth mission or scanning mission where you want to kill people one at a time, rather than making a whole group angry at you because you didn't spam enough shurikens to kill both of the first 2 targets hit.

I wonder if there is anyway for DE to address the default, un-modded functionality of the abilities, so as to make them work better within the Abilities 3.0 structure?

  3. I had one instance where I threw the glaive, and during the throwing animation was killed...

Upon being rezzed by a fellow Tenno, my WF's upper body was stuck in the throwing position. I found that all actions could be carried out, like the OP, but the positioning of the WF was jacked up. The only thing that could reset the pose was to perform a melee attack (I think).
