  1. Like it says in the title I bought the Sanctum Collection through the Playstation Store rather than in game and after doing a mission Ordis chirped up with a notification saying I received my items, my items from the Starter Pack.

Edit: Looks like all the correct items have been added to my inventory so this issue is resolved.

  2. I have an internet connection, latest test was 16 down and 6 up, and I can see activity in the chat logs but for whatever reason I can not join public games and when eventually forced to start one, nobody joins mine.

I attempted to start a Plague Star bounty and after loading through the gate I'm not joined into any active and partial public teams. Spent a significant amount of time mining on the way to the toxin and still nobody joined. Exited Plains, exited Cetus, and then tried joining a Neo Fissure, the game spends a few seconds looking and then solo starts me and nobody joins even after starting to progress through the mission.

I've restarted my PS4, changed networks, restarted my router, nothing works.

  3. Whenever I use the button to access my ability submenu, the gear wheel, Transfer, use the interact function, or initially load into a zone my Warframe/Operator is forced to run to the left.

Remapping hasn't worked, default settings haven't worked.

Edit: Closing and reopening Warframe fixed the issue.

  4. DE,

I know that at this point Hydroid's abilities aren't going to get any major reworks despite my problem with all the focus being on his puddle which isn't very fun gameplay, but can you at least do a few small changes?

Changes such changing the melee slam spawning a tentacle to something other than a melee slam, swapping his shield boost for a health boost, dropping the energy cost of Tidal Surge, and upping (slightly) the damage on Tempest Barrage, Tidal Surge, and Tentacle Swarm?

HOT OFF THE PRESS (not literally we don't have a press):

Since the last Hotfix and now a lot of changes are being proposed and tested.

Things change quickly so this is just our goal - not confirmed for tomorrow yet - but it's where our heads are at and what we are trying to get in:
Visually we want to get PBR done on Hydroid.
We have increased his base energy pool.
We want Tempest Barrage to have better Audio feedback on its charging.
We want Undertow to have better possible damage scaling over time and as of a couple of minutes ago we are experimenting with squadmates being able to shoot into the puddle to damage submerged enemies. Since this is a recent experiment be prepared that it might not work out quickly or work out at all!

Stay tuned for the Update Notes!

Posted a response on Reddit and I'll double down here as well.

    These are some good updates.

Particularly the energy increase, Undertow having better damage scaling over time, as well as allowing allies to shoot into the pool to damage enemies. One of the problems with Undertow currently is that it trolls allies either intentionally or unintentionally.

But there's still a lot more work that needs to be done with Hydroid.

His passive is straight up horrible. A buff to his shields is questionable because you buffed his armor. Sure it's a survivability buff but because it's shields and armor it's not as effective as it could be. Switching that shield buff with a health buff would add more EHP to him and give him a bit more survivability for the buck. Tidal Surging is expensive for a water based version of Rhino's Charge and doesn't drag enemies or move Tentacle Swarm with you while in Undertow.

Speaking of Undertow, Undertow suffers from the same problem that Bladestorm, Absorb, Cloud Walker and whatever else I'm forgetting suffers from: Sit and do nothing design. Sit and do nothing design is boring and just not fun. Letting us use abilities, move the puddle around, drag enemies in somewhat addresses the issue but these are bandaid solutions.

Tentacle Swarm is not only a bad ultimate but a bad CC as well. It has a target cap, is still dictated by AI, and makes enemies harder to hit. By comparison Frost's Avalanche is far and away better: It hits everything in range, CCs it all so that they can't move which makes it easier to hit, and debuffs armor to make them easier to kill period.

Oh and one the whole Hydroid's damage is woefully in adequate: Tempest Barrage, Tidal Surge, Undertow, and Tentacle Swarm and they don't provide enough or good enough CC to warrant low damage.

  6. I've been playing Warframe for quite some time just fine but took a day off yesterday to game on my XBox. Since it's one internet cable I've been pulling into the current device as needed. This has never caused a problem and again been gaming on Warframe just fine for years. But after yesterday, I plug in and load up Warframe and all of a sudden I'm getting error messages that I need to open UDP ports 4950 & 4955 and open TCP port range 6695-6699.

I'm not that technically literate and my father is in charge of the home network, there is a special setup involved between two routers, and he opened both sets of ports (4950 and 4955) and the port range (6695-6699) and I'm still getting the error message.

Again I've never had a problem in the years that I've been playing Warframe until today and we didn't change anything on our end here aside from me just not plugging my internet cable into my Playstation for almost a day.

Edit: It does look like the servers are borked. Can't load into dojo, can't group with anyone, chat works, getting randomly kicked to title screen. My entire clan has been having problems.

  7.

We appreciate that this will remove certain fitting strategies however we feel that those combos were not the intention of the ability and want to avoid making it so that you only want to play Excalibur with one or two specific weapons.

And yet Valkyr's Hysteria damage is so very dependent on weapon selection.

If you're going to nerf EB like this, I fully expect Valkyr to get some loving as well, not just to Hysteria, but to everything in her kit.

  8. we have an orokin color palette

for that we have the orokin-colour-palette allready and it works ok for me

the immortal skin is smth like a "special skin with its given 'special' colours", thats how i understand it

btw, i understand you and think the same, but i dont want again a extra colourpalette for =)

question is, does the primeframecolour count or the immortal-skin-colour count, and then for whom and do we all wanna have that =)

Its because default colour is now is now  made truly default so if you change a skin the colour is gonna change as well. Not sure if the PS4 doesnt have the Orokin palette since your asking for a new palette colour but if it does try taking a look at the Orokin palette. It might have what your looking for.

The Orokin Palette doesn't have the colors being used on the frames. At least not all of them. I can create my own custom job, which I will be, but I'm still partial to how the Immortal looked with the base colors.

  9. Or revert the recent change to Immortal Skins.

Or even let me save the default colors from the Prime frames as my favorite.

Before U16 I could apply an Immortal Skin to a Prime frame and have the Immortal Skin use the Prime frame's colors instead of the regular frame's colors. Example: http://i.imgur.com/J1FTY00.jpg

Now when I apply an Immortal Skin, it uses the regular frame's color palette. Example: http://i.imgur.com/WQmPcB1.jpg

Needless to say, this isn't very appealing to the eye.

Slight tangent: Tenno Color Palette II for all the new frames?

  10. Prior to U16 I could apply an Immortal Skin to a Frame and the skin would use the current color palette of the Frame.

Example: http://i.imgur.com/J1FTY00.jpg Mag Prime with an Immortal Skin.

Now the Immortal Skin is using the color palette of the default Frame even if it's applied to a Prime.

Example: http://i.imgur.com/WQmPcB1.jpg Nyx Prime with an Immortal Skin.

Is this a bug? If so, has it been addressed on PC yet?

  11. Excavation on Earth are the only places in the game to have acceptable rates of getting Neurodes on short notice.

i generally exclude Bosses from consideration. your choice if you want to include them.

I've farmed out about 2k Cryotic and got nothing myself.

  12. Which is the de-facto single dagger to use?

Status is the way to go on both, and the Sheev beats the Karyst in this category but then immediately brought back down due to IPS taking some of the procs. Pure Toxin bypasses Corpus shields, but Slash procs do as well. And Sheev can be built for Toxin as well. Karyst has a higher crit but it's going to be neglected as it's still too low to make use of.

  13. I'm certain that some of these topics I'm going to bring up have already been covered or are being covered but I think it bears repeating to show how important they are.

-How specifically will Charge work? The update isn't specifically clear. Will I charge a straight distance in the direction I'm pointing for however many meters as determined by Duration? When you say that Charge will knockdown enemies in my way, do they get flung if the damage is non lethal? Or is the flung mechanic only going to affect one enemy at the end of the charge? If so if I end a charge and no enemies are near me, nobody gets flung? If I charge an enemy at the front of the pack and send him flying, will the enemies behind him who get hit by him get the same ragdoll that bows do to enemies? To use it optimally, will I have to target a guy at the back of the pack to get the knockdown on everyone to him and give him the ragdolling?

-Iron Skin really needs to be addressed. As content scales it gets niched more and more.

-Piercing Roar Augment needs to match the duration of Roar as well.

-Rhino's EH also should to be addressed. The entire concept of Rhino says that he takes hits and gives them right back. Yet Excalibur, a much more balanced frame, has higher armor and the same health and only 150 less shielding and a CC just like Rhino. Furthermore, the higher base shield of Rhino is pulling the frame in too many directions. It's trying to be a shield tank and an EH tank and can't succeed at either. The Charge Augment exists but having to mod specifically for that extra armor when other frames get it for free or as an ability just sticks in the craw. The kicker is that for Rhino's supposed tankiness, he suffers a sprint speed reduction.

  14. I'm referring to the two sets that increase slash and puncture damage for all four weapon categories.

I was under the impression that increasing the base types (slash, puncture, impact) is a bad mod investment unless you have literally nothing else to invest in there and have extra points. It's a bad mod investment because it only affects a portion of the weapons base damage and that portion's effectiveness varies based on the spread of the weapon damage.

Am I missing something here? Is it more effective than I'm thinking because of elemental damage being based of the "new" base damage after a Buzz Kill or Jagged Edge is thrown in?

  15. I tried the Attica + Thunderbolt for the Cryonic Front event and while I found it kinda fun to see all those explosions, that was pretty much it.

The idea didn't pop into my head to quadruple down on the explosions with Mirage until just now.

So, does having four dopplegangers shooting explosive bolts act as some kind of force multiplier or is it just more of the same just with four times more?

  16. Late game, status is very useful. But its not worth it to completely think about status, but use the dual stat mods on weapons with high status, high fire rate and/or good ammo efficiency.

Yeah as you go deeper into the waves not only do the various increases in attributes makes even basic mobs hard to kill but the game starts dumping heavies on you.

Getting corrosive procs to peel that armor off so that they are more squishy would be useful in such a situation.

  17. like everything, situational.

Status takes a Uitlity and Support role. Weapons that will Status atleast somewhat often can debuff or CC Enemies. (though, Slash Effects, Toxin Effects, and Gas Effects are more Offensive oriented).

Status works equally as well at all Levels. ultimately, it's your decision if you think Damage is enough, or if you want your Weapons to have things other than Damage.

I'm not a status type person. I'm more along the lines of "There's no kill like overkill." That said I'm a realist and looking to cover more than a few extra bases. If a Glaxion with Blast means easier kills, I'm all for running the gun if need be.

That said: Opinion on status based secondaries and melee weapons like Nukor and Serro? Or is a primary like the Glaxion enough?

  18. when i did it, i just used a rhino and corrosive/fire soma and dragon nikana.  i had no issues generally until 35 minutes and only would need to pop an energy or health plate 1-2 times.  it is probably rougher with groups and more enemies, but i have no idea on the group mechanics, i play everything solo 95% of the time.

to abate the repetitive numbing efforts after the mod rewards 30-minute challenge, i did 40-min runs (for the tethra mods) using other frames like valkyr, frost, nyx, and loki to change up playstyle and make it interesting since i really wanted those other mods and was getting so annoyed from all the runs with no 20/40 minute mod reward  >..<

    You managed to solo it?
