    Calling bullS#&$ on this. We try it even with 4x volt and 4x frost.. It completely ignore those shields and bubbles. Same like yesterday sortie with 100 lvl defense. Either they are not working, or i have terrible luck on bugs and glitches.

    =F*** sorties. You know what? even if i get riven mod or legendary core, it wont pay for  that amount of frustration or boringness i get in tis type of mission. Today was what.. Saturn helene with high lvl, exterminate eximus units, and last one broken &#! boss fight, where half of the mechanics were bugged and we have to repeat that mission three times due to it. Such variety, much wow. Im done with sorties until they fix those missions or offer satisfying rewards.

    This actually make perfect sense. Adding flat +20% crit chance on lets say gorgon and 30+ fire rate on tiberon..hell i might even suffer through that RNG for this. The problem is again..how fix powercreep of "meta" weapons. I think the best shot is completely remove those "meta" riven mods and keep only the one you wanted to be "buffed". I know it's harsh, but there is nothing that can stop a grinder. Even when you lock them for 50k kuva per roll, there will be someone who will do it.

    Simply. You want to fix a powercreep? (which was intention of riven mod idea), make non meta weapon better stat wise with them. Allowing player to choosing what they want for specific weapon (which can't be re-rolled, only stats on it) is the best thing how fix powercreep of "meta" weapons. But you also have to fix the "exploit" (yes it is a exploit in current state), where "meta" weapons can choose those stats too. Currently i'ts all based on RNG to the point, where riven users don't use the "non meta" weapons, (as intentional) but use them only on "meta weapons" and create market, where they are sold for thousands of PL, while rest of riven mods are sold as scrap or unveild. I even see someone buying bulks of unveild mods for 50p each. That's how worthless they are. It's like loto. You open one and get jackpot..aya. You open one and get hind, grakata gorgon etc..meh cut a lose and scrap it. Maybe next time you will have more luck..I think this is not how DE wanted Riven mods to be.

    DE has got Rivens close to where they intended for them to be, though I imagine that people are still using them on top weapons more than the mid/low tier guns, as per the intent behind the mods. 

     

    You're still missing the point though. 

    Riven are not supposed to be ONLY good stats. They're NOT supposed to be things we can control. 

    I don't think DE wanted riven mods to be only two/three mods combined together, based on RNG. At least it doesn't seems like from their statement:  Riven Mods were added to incentivize end-game players to revisit old weapons and to change up their play style. We’re all familiar with blazing through missions to the Extraction Point, but this system gives players new challenges that require them to test the creative limits of their Arsenal in their quest to Unveil their new Mods. Yes, meta weapons are in the selection pool, but Riven Mods are not needed to make this gear (like the Tonkor or Synoid Simulor) more powerful. What they can do is add an interesting buff to a comparatively underpowered weapon in order to encourage players to think outside of that meta box.

    "Interesting buff in order to encourage players to think outside of that meta box" is not slapping +10% toxic + 15% damage -5 magazine capacity mod on my grakata in my vocabulary. So yes, riven mods are needed to make gear straight up more powerful "creatively interesting"..that's the point of powercreep. And if you want to make weapon more powerful, you have to roll right stats.

    I do believe that certain negative stats need to be tossed our entirely, such as negative base damage (faction damage is fine IMO. small price to pay) and negative multishot. Those two actively hurt a weapon and no bonus makes up for them. 

    I also think that DE needs to better balance high-end stuff versus low-end stuff. As of right now, Rivens still provide massive bonuses to the top guns that those guns do not need, yet I can still get an Opticor riven with negative reload speed and negative damage against 2 factions with the only positive stat being reload speed (and yes, I did get that mod. it was my only Riven for quite some time)

    This is, why they should go with route like it was years before and still is with current mods. The more kuva you invest (ergo cores, endo) the more powerful mod you have. No the more kuva you spend, praise RNG to not get S#&$ on. I think locking stats and rolling best stat for them with one price (lets say 600 for lock, 1000 for re-roll) is the easiest thing how you can fix riven mods, until they rework them to the point, where DE wanted to be. This also solve problem when you roll completely useless stat on sub par gun. Just lock the one you need to make this gun better and re-roll the rest. Also the bigger MR lock, the bigger kuva cost, to balance mods like soma MR 26 crit chance/crit damage riven mods.

  7. Am i the only one, who find focus system and exilus adapters  completely potinless? Those mods suck and focus seems like, it's just a niche. It helps nothing and only one or two passive bonuses are good,but not mandatory to have it. Hur dur stealth for 10s, Yeah ignore, that we have one frame who  can do it, one dog and one sentinel who can do it. I think there is no point,  having something like lenses or greater lenses in sorties, if focus system  basically pointless. Remove both of them from sorties, rework them  and then you can return them back, because they will have a usage. Right now its as i typed before, just a niche. You don't even need focus, while farming kuva.. Just stun, dash and use frame.

  8. This problem is extremely frustrating. I went from 60fps all day to dipping in the 20's in Draco. It only started happening after U18. It literally makes me not want to play. I have tried verifying cache, resetting display settings, optimizing, new driver etc. Nothing works. Running a 3570k at 4.3 GHz and a 780 ti. I see no reason as to why I should not be able to run this game maxed. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know, cause I'm fed up with the low fps.

  9. With this morning's hotfix 18.0.7 we have made some changes to the way the engine handles voice chat in an attempt to create a workaround for the stuttering issue. While you should not experience any differences when voice chat is enabled, we are hoping that turning it off will prevent the hitches from occurring.

     

    So the next time you start up Warframe can you please open your audio settings and set your Voice Chat to "Off".

    Once you have done this, proceed to play through a few multiplayer matches like you normally would.

     

    We are very interested to know if this has any impact on the hitches.

     

    Please keep in mind that this is by no means a permanent solution. Our goal at the moment is to provide a temporary workaround while we continue to address the core issue.

    TESTED ON NEWEST DAILY MISSIONS-DEFENSE 50-60

    Looks like disabling Voice chat really fix stuttering. What grind my gear is GPU usage and frame rate impact on it, I think this is not what GPU usage should looks like in mission, meanwhile you reaching 15 fps.

  10. Same here. Solo missions fine, Multiplayer mission hell. Everything start good but turn out in to freeze madness. It gets progressively worse and worse. It usually ended with me lost host connection. Gpu usage at mission start 50- half mission done 20% (start stutter) 0% gpu usage-stutter and lost connection. DX 11, 10 64 bit 32 bit, verify chace, re instal..nothing help.

    But just to clarify. You mean you don't get anything at all sometimes? no BP at all, not even chassis or helmet?

     

    Yes not even chassis or helmet. It happen all the time even solo or in party. Thats what bothering me most. Maybe because i still have 5 delta beacons in my inventory?

  12. After 100 runs i'm definitely sure, Hydroid system was deleted. Why? Because chance to drop must be so low, that RNG wont be able comprehend this number. And mainly because every time from 100 runs, when i should get Gydroid system, i get nothing. No BP at all.

  13. Question, It doesn't seem to be the case,but I want to make sure, does the terminal velcity fix menitoned in the OP also included the whole turning invisble when projectile speed is increased?

    Can we get ETA on this bug fix? its really annoying, and i dont have initiative, to level up those type of weapons, with this kind of bugs.
