  1. Yeah that's great, doesn't stray away too far from my initial idea, yet tightens it's scope to noctua so it doesn't get too convoluted.
  2. To be honest, all I care about is what players think, and talk about in my threads...I don't really expect someone at tencent to read this and say "wow! let's do this"
  3. These "augment concepts" posts are almost pointless, they add no real value to the discussion other than a good dose of imagination and brainstorming. Dante as he stands right now for me is really perfect, the last build I have for him is so comfortable, self sustainable, efficient and powerful that I honestly don't know where I would put an augment in. but this idea man, is just too stupid that I can't just ignore. NOCTUA OR FINAL VERSE AUGMENT: Noctua's altfire counts as an additional verse. that can be combined with light verse, dark verse and itself to create 5 additional final verses. this is the augment description, but the augment notes and details are as follow: Noctua altfire + itself: Final verse will cast 4 noctua altfire around dante, each taking a side. Altfire + light verse: Final verse apply a buff that gives 2% overguard steal on Dante's attacks. Altfire + dark verse: Final verse give Dante 50% (like pistol gambit) secondary critical chance and critical damage. light verse + altfire: Final verse procs a random invocation tome mod with maxed out stacks. dark verse + altfire: Final verse grants Dante and allies 60% elemental damage divided equally between Toxin, Heat and slash. that do not combine with existing elements on your weapons.
  4. I was amazed at the damage Noctua puts out as well, it kills enemies in Steel Path no drama. Yeah definitely why I went back to using it.
  5. I went back to Noctua honestly, @UnstarPrime it's true it's just better this way. the combination of modded heat, Archon Vitality plus Secondary outburst just makes it do soooo much damage, then just using Nourish...and Roar is great but I am loosing massive AOE or chain damage when I use a normal gun or grimoire. Noctua and it's copy they hit multiple times and chain to nearby enemies I am hoping the devs add an exilus to exalted weapons, they did with exal melee, it's Guns' turn.
  6. True, I like it, but Since I use Grimoire anyway (it's a lot better at stacking the tome mods, and it's damage ain't that bad) I find it more convenient to subsume for the time being. especially since I dumbed a truck ton of forma on it and explored every build potential it has, I want to try something new. So in terms of Heat slash and toxin, Sickening pulse adds 1 extra stack with the damage of all previous stacks or of one? I'm asking whether it doubles the damage or not, like Archon Vitality. That is true, And I still hate using helminth but I really want some Innovation, and I don't know, I thought about using Wyrd Scythes, but that might be too much casting for me. Great choice actually. Indeed, SILENCE! I just wanna try how crazy Roar would be right? first it double dips dot damage, then it double dips ability damage of tragedy from the double dipping of dot damage. Sounds funny.
  7. I am kind of tired of Noctua already, Forma'd it so many times and just feel like it's a lot of energy wasted for a similar effect I can achieve with my weapons, besides I have a Noctua Copy and my own Grimoire Weapon...I'm not really missing out on anything. One of my favorite Noctua replacements is the Quassus, this melee weapon shoots multishot projectiles that deal all guaranteed slash, perfect for his tragedy. but that's not really the topic of this post, today I want to talk about potential subsumes... Nourish seems universally more important, especially since Roar is just a damage and dot damage increase, a massive one...but it's just that. I wonder which is the better option...if Roar is ever going to help me kill bosses faster and use any other Viral source, I'd probably use it.
  8. it feels bad when I have to cast tragedy 50 times just to kill a necramech, or an acolyte, I don't know what I need to do to bypass the 4 stacks cap, do the dots' damage still increase within those 4 stacks? at the same time, it's weird how angels have the same cap but get one shotted still. Sadly this is Dante's only problem for me, that he isn't universal against all bosses, or status limited enemeis. and I'd like to know how you guys managed to overcome this...any tips or help is appreciated!
  9. New post: Am I destined to not have 1 million dollars?
  10. Magnetic, Gas, cold, electricity...all of these elements used to be really bad...but even the weakest of them, say Gas, I have been utilizing quite a lot, despite not having strong elemental bonuses on tough enemies. only Blast went from mediocre to absolute worse element in the game. Blast has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it's stuck with a status debuff, that we don't know if it works or not in this game. What am I supposed to do knowing that 10 procs of blast give enemies 75% accuracy reduction? hurray? am I protected now? should Blast have better damage bonuses on enemy health? probably, or not...Gas's bonuses are mostly against regular infested, so it's not a big deal, but it's status effect is still very strong in my book, I use it most of the time. so Blast, being an element for Grineer machinery (so these roller things you rarely encounter) and infested, is a really weak element on the damage side...but that could've been remedied if the status was worth it. and now with Topaz shards nerfed to the ground for no reason, 5 whole shields on Blast damage KILL instead of the original condition, which required only a hit, Blast is super useless in every way. I wouldn't want more damage, Blast has a defensive debuff, still make as such, but give us a worthwhile status effect, or rework Accuracy reduction so it's a unified effect and stop adding new words like dodge chance or hit chance.
  11. Guess how much damage reduction Lavos gets with his base armor? that's right, 69%! Everything makes sense now... But really wouldn't be better to remove both umbral mods, have steel fiber + adaptation...and then change the aura to physique? that way I am getting a lot less damage overall. I wonder if Lavos would get additional augments for Transmutation probe or vial rush that boosts his defensive side more...maybe a Vial rush augment that grants him x Overguard with each time an enemy is damaged by the pool of broken vials
  12. With Umbra armor I get 85% damage reduction, I wonder if Adaptation is better...or maybe any other survivability method...I still can't figure out how to make Lavos survive on levels past regular steel path, I mean I can use Varazin sure, but It's better If I'm self sustained. and this build because it's so balanced around every stat, I have the freedom to do weapon damage if I want, and ability damage if I want. or a bit of both...I'm a bit short on Arcanes, only have Reconstruct, Steadfast and efficiency maxed out...most of my arcanes are sold out or got diffused.
