  1. Choosing which map you would like would be nice yeah, I can see why it's not in though. The majority might flock to specific levels and some maps might get forgotten. It's a common theme in a lot of room based online games. It can make the game stale and repetitive without a randomizer in there. An example of this is S4-League where the community got obsessed with a select few maps and all of the games seemed repetitive and predictable.

  2. Excalibur is good all round yeah. But Volt useless? Whaaat. :O He's awesome. Maybe you just need to upgrade his skills a bit, his 4th skill is great for clearing a room/big mobs. The speed is good yeah, the 1st skill, eh not much but not bad. The cover thing can be helpful too especially seeing as Grineer just got buffed accidentally.

  3. There are positives to mods that add generic actions or abilities to the game. However, this almost resembles a skill tree type of customization which is what DE have scrapped. On top of that, in the most recent Stream they did, it was brought up that they don't want the game to be about finger acrobatics on the keyboard to pull off complex moves which is something - like adding more generic actions, would contradict.

Gather - It's not worth it, I don't see anybody ever opting to use that in a mod slot.

Sacrifice - It's already been proved that support in this game (especially reactive supportl ike healing/shield restore) isn't effective, so I don't see anybody wanting this either. See Mag's Shield Polarize and the fact that they want to tweak Trinity.

Contingency - I don't personally like this idea, it's something that just makes the game too easy, swapping out thingsm id game to adjust to a situation takes out the pre-game start tactics and also takes away from squad tactics. E.g. People taking different artefacts to each other.

I'm not trying to shoot down ideas by the way, just giving my opinion. I think your ideas are cool it's just they clash with other design decisions already made by the team. :x

  4. I'd say no to Acrobat, thinking about it from a level design point of view. It could lead to things that weren't originally expected in the original design of a level. Getting to places you shouldn't be able to reach, skipping places etc. (Talking about the ceiling running and stuff).

Also, the jump would make Excalibur's Jump skill even more redundant than it already is. On top of that, I don't think they would want the sprint speed to be buffed so much by any mod like that because then it nullifies drawbacks to warframes such as Rhino which are there for a reason. Besides, pre-update 7 you could apparently reach ridiculous sprint speeds and that has been removed now which is another indicator that they don't want that in the game.

  5. Akbolto is very strong, but it is definitely a difference in playstyle to the Lex. If you ignore Primaries/Melees for a second, the comparison is basically with Lex a more methodical aim and headshot sort of gameplay. While Akbolto in my opinion is more run & gun. Both are high damaging, Lex is very accurate though and Akbolto needs a sort of lead on aim because of the bolt ammo-type.

  6.

If you've spotted them, put down a waypoint and call it in chat, that way everybody wins - people get to beat the boss to death and should the blueprints decide to realise their dreams of flying, everyone is still able to grab them.
    So warm and fuzzy.
  7. So I just did Wave 1-5 on one of the new Corpus Defense missions (Link Below).

It's actually a really great level in my opinion. Brilliant design with all of the different ways of scaling up different levels and accessing different heights of the map, and I like the secret tunnels and things.

However! The AI works really bad on this map. Like, really bad. We spent about 10 minutes on each wave having to seek out every enemy cause they don't come out of hiding and attack us. Maybe it's because of all of the different obstacles they can use for cover and different levels/rooms they can hide on/in. It's really quite frustrating to play on at the moment though and it made me avoid doing defense again just in case that map popped up again. (For what it's worth the other new map for Corpus, you know the big massive canyon thing with the horizontal elevator platform thing is probably my new favourite).

There also seems to be a long delay between spawn times which drags out the waves even more. It's just not the same pace as it was before and I thought it was pretty much spot on before.

  8. Good read but you didn't really mention the synergy of Loki's Radial Disarm being able to disarm everyone setting your team up for area attack. And Switch Teleport and ash's Teleport are meant for different jobs in my opinion. Seeing as Loki can switch with his Decoy and get a whole load of positives from that in different situations.

You do have some nice suggestions though in my opinion.

  9. The reason it looks upside down is because of the layout of the symbol and text. It's exactly the opposite of how a traditional piece of text would be put together by a graphic designer. On top of that the serif in the typography is very bottom heavy which can make it look reversed. -Graphics Geek-

  10. This could be utter bull, but I've been told Elemental mods drop more on Corpus missions, so if you need them...Defense missions seem to be great for mod farming. Maybe Venus - Kiliken?

  11. I must be one of the only people in the game who thinks the HUD is fine.....

It surely can't be that hard to just glance quickly up at your health and shields, if you forget to look at it thats your problem, others might not have that issue... =/

I don't think the HUD is bad at all but I do think it is something that can be improved on.

Just because Honey Badger dont give a ****, don't mean Honey Badger dont care. :) Common misconception -- we have thoughts and emotions too.

Love your suggestion for the variable ammo amounts. :)

  12. My level 30 rhino and Scindo just cuts down waves of infested... but I agree, something about those lights-out solo infested missions still just creeps me out. They did a really good job with the atmosphere.

I actually feel relieved when someone joins my infested mission, even if I dont need the help.

This so much. I get creeped out in solo Infested missions, not to the point I can't play but It's eerie. And then when someone joins I'm like "Aww yeahh, I'm fine now". It's like a real sigh of relief.
