I figure it's closer to 20% (with full radiant 4 man squads with the same relic) but it's a bit hard to calculate.

It's a 34.39% chance of getting at least 1 rare drop in a party with 4 radiant relics, assuming 10% drop rate is accurate.

You calculate by exclusion, 1-(chance of getting a non-rare drop)^(#of people). In this case it's  1-0.9^4

  2. There is a T1 fissure (cant remember the name, it has one flame on the panel in starmap) on Earth that I just tried opening, solo. I got 5 reactant, and 3 of those in the last 30 seconds. I was kitted to do a a long mission, Tonkor, V.Marelok, Scindo Prime so enemies died fast.

This was my 6th or so fissure, and Ive only successfully opened 1 relic. The reactant does not drop. The rate is far too low.
Possibly, this could be fied by having a say 50% drop chance, that decreases by 10% per person in the cell; a bit like Stalker spawns but the other way round. Either that or make the drop rate increase as the time decreases, with the rate being 100% in the last 10 seconds.

Trinity's 4 needed an invulnerability equation change, not a range limit. They also left EV untouched, which was the real monster here.

It got an invuln equation change, it's now the square of the average percentage healed. If you don't have less than about 5% health on all members in the squad then you aren't getting 90% dr.

i agree with you about EV though

Like when you smash the ground with a Scindo or Fragor let there be cracks on the ground or something. When we fall from heights with a Fragor in our hands let it fall a bit slower or even faster pulling our warframes with it. Or even just let our warframes release it so it could just fall by its own and when the warframe finally lands too it'd just pick it up

The bit about te cracking floor when ground slam with heavy blades sounds cool, wouldn't mind that.

The second part, about the weapons falling at different rates, do you even physics bro? Everything experiences a very similar force of gravity regardless of where you are, so they would fall at pretty much identical rates (like less than a fraction of a thousandth of a metre per second squared)

letting go and collecting the weapon would be awkward as there would be no telling where it will land, how it will bounce, what it will hit etc. Very impractical

  5. So random idea. I'd love it if there was a credit cannon in game, a gun where it uses credits for ammunition.

If the the max ammo was capped at mission reward, each shot cost 5 credits and ammo was restored by cash drops, how would people feel about this?

If it has 10%~ crit chance having the two primed crit mods will give you the highest damage output. Now I don't use the guns since they first released (Because there is a decent list of far better secondarys) so I cant say for certain, but on paper (and in headshot use) the two primed crit mods will almost always be your best option for damage output after the base three (Barrel, hornet, lethal).

On paper DPS doesnt translate particukarly well I find though. Would much rather have some usability (ammo mutate) than an extra couple of DPS. A third elemental would be preferable for me, it's a more consistently applied damage bonus

Lethal i find I can take or leave. The extra fire rate I find unnecessary 90% of the time

Winds of Purity is to give an incentive to use a single Furis - if you could Equip it on Dex Furis, then the Augment would be a complete failure at achieving this since Dex Furis is a universal upgrade from all other Weapons in the Series.

besides, with 3 base Mods, Punch-Through, 2 Crit Mods, and 2 Elementals, you're already out of Mod Slots on Dex Furis anyways, and you don't even have Ammo Mutation which may prove... a good idea most of the time.

What 'base' mods would those be, besides Hornet Strike and Barrel Diffusion?

and forgive my ignorance, why use the critical mods on Dex Furis?

  8. Solo'd with Limbo, build for health and duration, a 3 forma Lanka and a vaykor marelok (no forma yet).

Rift walk around to hack console, bullet jump to where the snipers are, then shoot the Bursa. Rift walk and hack the bursa, wait for thing to collapse, come out of rift walk using manual end, unload charged Lanka as many times as possible, rinse and repeat. Use vaykor marelok if you get low on health

  9. Wouldn't it be easier to just give an overload point, since what you are suggesting can be applied to all weapons, just making smaller holes? So if you do more than -insert arbitrary number- damage in a single shot, the whole field collapses, then behaves like normal.

And what about high damage, low RoF non-sniper weapons, like the Kulstar? How would they work in this case, since the explosive ones carry too high a risk of self damage to run inside the field.

  10. If it gave an extra polarity for good performance, but could only be done once I would like this idea. Then the buff gained would be an ease of use rather than a direct improvement, and the gain is easily remedied by hard work for those who don't do the mini game

  11. The problem I have with these ideas is that, while they are amazing and I would love to see in game, they fixate on having people in full squads being split up. This makes it problematic for those of us who solo everything, an also fails to take into account system limitations, as the synced spy/survival would require a lot of processing power.

These mission chains could be really simple, just Spy (steal the location of xyz (unknown item/enemy etc.)), Deception (replace the data stolen with fake data), Survival/Defense/Hijack (recover xyz), Exterminate (kill everyone who knows we have xyz)

  12. Why couldn't one of the other 7 people have picked up the bomb? Any of you could. Sure it would make the mission more difficult temporarily, but you would still be able to progress.

I know it doesn't answer your question.

To answer, what everyone else said, large energy pool on the prime, speed is useful to speed everyone up, shield can stop a bit of damage from one direction.
