  1. Anybody know why an Ember/Frost Helmet costs 15p in the low end and 50p in the high end according to wftrading? If I remember correctly people were selling sets for 20p each at the end of last year.

  2. Perhaps we can use the Dakra Prime, Dragon NIkana, and the Scindo Prime as our example. I assume each has a different "best" build in order to maximize damage, but what should one focus on when modding?

The second highest rated Dragon Nikana build on the builder seems to have Organ Shatter but no True Steel, something unheard of if this were a rifle. I assume Fury was left out because Berserker would mostly cancel it, but replacing Buzzkill with Fury would have netted an increase in dps. Is it because of a combo that makes up for some of these weaknesses that allows them to do that?

As for the Dakra Prime, there seems to be 2 builds; one on channeling while the other is about crits. As you can see, the channeling build seems to lack Spoiled Strike but has a Berserker without True Steel, which is strange as it makes me wonder how in the world that 15% crit chance is going to proc Berserker reliably. The crit build seems pretty standard to me, but when comparing the two it appears that the channeling build sports higher damage and dps. That begs the question of why people run crit builds on their dakra when a channeling build is better (Channeling build is technically raw damage build since both have killing blow on it)?

As for the Scindo Prime there are two ways to run it, one is focused on the Cleaving Whirlwind combo while the other is about crit dps. Some builds have a Corrupt Charge (and killing blow), but would it be better to use a Spoiled Strike instead of it (Would the attack speed be too slow even with Berserker and Fury on)?

    Thanks for the quick responses!

  3. Theres really 2 playstyles to Nyx, and one of them is focused on maximizing Chaos while the other is about mind controlling a target for long periods of time. See which one you prefer first; overextended isn't even completely necessary on a Chaos build as Nyx can just copter (or somersault) into a group of enemies, press 4 and release (Knockdown) and then Chaos. It only matters when enemies start one-shotting you, and by that time your teammates are prepared and have a perfect setup on maxed out frames/weapons (so you shouldn't worry about it so soon).

  4. I know its late and I shouldn't be posting this when nobody will answer, but who cares.

Anyways, I've always wondered when to slot on mods like Spoiled Strike, Killing Blow, and a hek load of other obscure mods that don't exist on guns. Should a crit weapon have both True Steel and Organ Shatter or only True Steel to proc berserker? When should one use something like Rending Strike (Or any of the other +stat -channeling efficiency mods)? These are among a laundry list of questions I have as I'm pretty sure the numbers/feeling aren't going to be the same in game as on the builder.

  5. Carrier for the loot vacuum, Shade for the stealth if you happen to need it. Dethcube has its stun and the deth machine rifle is pretty good, so it has that going for it (except you need 2 copies of rifle mods if you're going to equip a rifle as your primary, so carrier is still better since it has a shotgun).

  6. I'd say that you should build on the strengths of a gun, and not force something that doesn't work well on it. The status chance is negligible, and putting on the dual stat mods makes the damage suffer on the Boltor. The proc could also be any one of the physical damage types it has, so odds are  that it isn't going to be one you want. Other than that, I'd say guns like the Braton Prime and Burston Prime performs well with a status build, but with something that has a high base damage you'd want to almost always mod for damage (unless in special circumstances where status and damage are both high e.g. synoid and latron prime but you'll still be missing out on damage).

  7. Love using Nyx in the voids. Use Chaos and then revive teammates and Absorb for those emergencies when 20 heavy gunners and bombards are surrounding you. Its so fun to blow them all up once enough damage has accumulated. That being said, Mind Control is for the shield ospreys/corrupted ancients to protect the pod even without Frost and works quite well. The only "bad" skill would be Psychic Bolts since it does almost no damage and has a noticeable travel time, but the augment partially fixes that problem by giving it some utility.

  8. I was actually half joking on my offer, but I'll accept all the same. If you also want a Braton stock I could throw that in too. As for when I'm online I'll be on Sunday EST in the afternoons, so I pm you then.

    Thanks! :)
