Yes, for that reason exactly. After all, every weapon we have is pretty much a different one, whether it be looks, sound, mechanics, or something else.

Well, there are.....alternatives.
You may run missions which give prebuilt Formas, or, you may buy them for 20p. Or, you can rush them for 10p.
Or you can wait 24h just like the rest of the community. -

Its not a mandatory mod, you're welcome to replace with anything you wish.
If you dont see a popup such as "Unable to join the mission. SERRATION mod is not equipped on your Lanka.", then it's not mandatory. -

Well, reading your post was a complete waste of time, and right now I am reading my own over and over again to make sure any offensive words do not slip through.
Because I cannot even begin to say how dumb your idea is.
You do realize what we need in Warframe is more weapon options, right? Right now we only have a handful of weapons that people use, and the rest are not used for a set of reasons.
Intruducing mods with drawbacks will render most of the weapons even more useless and it will narrow down the options we already have, I believe you get the point.
Your idea is bad, sadly. I think you're just another person who does nothing but 20wave/20minute runs, as you clearly have NO idea how even the best weapon with the top notch modding is not sufficent against the current scaling of enemies.

Yeah.. DE will probably find a way, things will possibly be better than before, but the thing is;
Why bother with multishot when there are other things that are broken...hellishly broken?
And worth noting about their weird announcements about stuff being "bugs". Just like Multishot not consuming extra ammo being a 2 year old bug and we rolled with it..yeah, riight.

And would you mind enlightening us why we shouldn't play Draco?
There are a billion reasons.
All the Draco worshippers here, leveling up stuff just to gain mastery, not knowing how frames work, yet still being a high MR player, only to put a stain on people that are actually experienced.
I pity you.

How to level Excal in Draco:
- Acquire team.
- Have 1 person Trin, 1 person Mesa, and 1 person Frost.
- Do the thing.

Frost is mainly used in Defense. And you already "camp" mandatorily in Defense missions generally, Frost is just there to provide protection that is needed.
Your argument is invalid.On a side note, you dont necessarily need Frost if you can kill enemies faster than they can kill you, or the cryopod, but that is something not highly common in pug games, so people prefer to bring along a Frost just to have some protection, so that you can walk away for a minute to grab a drink, or tab out for a second to put on the music you like.
Also as a person who plays Chess, Snowglobe example on King makes absolute no sense.
A lots of things can be said against your whining, but I'm too lazy to give you a full counteract. Simple solution, as Grulos said, Do not play with pugs. And leave Frost alone. Mesa is broken agreed, but if you dont one, Get off your stingy arse, Use your own key, set your own rules.

As if we dont have enough RNG involved in this game already.
The only thing I see in this post is people who doesnt go above Wave/Min 40 in any mission.
I, as a person who enjoys long runs without a spambot Mesa, think that we already have a very small set of weapons we can use for 120+ wave runs.
But of course,. what do you know about weapons....you just put a few Forma on your weapons and kill Level 20 enemies, and cry about how its OP.

First off, take a moment and realize how noone is agreeing with you. That is the first indication of your ideas being bad.
Secondly, without the players, there would be no Warframe.

Remove Serration, Split Chamber, Heavy Caliber, Stormbringer, High Voltage, Infected Clip, Malignant Force, Hellfire, Thermite Rounds, Cryo Rounds, Rime Rounds, Hornet Strike, Lethal Torrent, Barrel Diffusion, Convulsion, Jolt, Pathogen Rounds, Pistol Pestilence, Primed Heated Charge, Scorch, Deep Freeze, Frost Bite, Primed Point Blank, Hell's Chamber, Charged Shell, Shell Shock, Contagious Spread, Toxic Barrage, Incendiary Coat, Scattering Inferno, Chilling Grasp, Frigid Blast, Blaze.
There you go, perfection achieved. Those mods are the only thing that is wrong with Warframe and removing them will fix everything broken. -
For now, DE's plan seems to be making Multishot consume more ammo and implement a big NO FUN ALLOWED sign to the beginning of every mission.
Regarding to your idea tho, It is a good idea, tho it would make things even more powerful, and thats something what most people do not want for a reason that i will never ever be able to understand. See above. -
There are more than just guns in this game. Melee weapons and abilities exist. Companions do not require ammo and they can also hurt your enemies. Learn to conserve your ammo and play smart.
Tell me 1 melee weapon that can kill a Level 100 enemy.
