    Ps4 Prime Exclusives Are A Bad Idea.

    Unfortunately DE made the mistake of putting "exclusive" and "available for a limited time" (Okay I know it wasn't really but still) or even "something that will never be available again" (or something along those lines) which meant that some current founders hold DE to that promise it won't come out again, and some may threaten to sue DE if they did try to release the founders. 

     

    As to the strun and machete wraith, they were said to be "in the vault" on a previous Dev stream and may return in a future event.

     

    As to the colour palette's, I have no idea why DE decided not to give you guys the halloween or st pats day colours.

     

     

     

    That is true, new players will always complain that they cannot reach max rank due to the "exclusive" weapons such as the event ones.

     

    The delays to the updates isn't totally a sony problem, as DE could send the updates a bit faster but its a trade off sometimes, do you want a less buggy version but takes longer to port over, cert and release or do you want it quick, bugged up and waiting for the next update to solve the most simplest of problems that may come up. (Might be like that or DE is waiting to include as much as possible into one update, they have already said it was a mistake not to send U13.8 to cert when it was almost done, and they bundled up with everything up to U14.1, It seems hopefully they won't make that mistake again and that hopefully means as soon as the updates are ready for cert on the PS4 in the future, they will be sent to cert.)

     

    People have suggested a "Obsidian" Excalibur along with "obsidian" lato and skana, as a sort of way for PS4 to have a exclusive version of the founders stuff. They would get a model rework but would function similar to the founders (as in separate frame and weapons, not just skins) and obsidian excal would have the slightly faster shield recharge that founders excal has (fine, prime excal has), The same type of thing would be given to the upcoming Xbone version of the game, but obviously not be called "obsidian" excal.

     

    I suggest that Obsidian idea swell - unfortunally this will may bring more trouble cause the "new" PC players are still not able to get some kind of excl with Prime stats.

    Threr is now reason why PS4 should get a chance while the new PC player wave don't.

     

     

    in point of delay - Yes DE also suggest them not "in Time" but bringing up 3 complete Teams to ensure each platform get´s the update in time is quit expensive. they might have the resource but i prefer seeing that money spender else.

     

    I fine with those delays they getting shorter anyway.

    And im a PS4 player now btw.

    It´s steam exclusive, but quit easy to get even if you not a steam user atm.

     

    I got the Rubedo and Phase stuff but - when i migrated there are a bunch of items i coudn´t "bring over" to my PS4 account.

     

    The Rubedo/Phase stuff is one of it - als the vandal Wepaons.

     

    With update 14 on PS4 they even deleted my EX Prime Profil Picture and took away my Braton Vandal :/

    Don´t know why it´s been added in the first place then.

     

    Anyhow 

    DE learned it isn´t a good idea bringing exclusive frames or items at all. Even thought the Founders deserved to get it, i mean without those guys a there may never had been a PS4 version of warframe.

     

    So dreaming for those item in´t fair.

     

    Best thing now is to bring something equal to the EXc Prime - this way PS4/Xbone and new PC users can complete their collection and the Founders keep having their well deserved special Frame

    I don´t want PS/Xbone get an Exclusive even i switch to PS4. - This will definitely make thinks worse

     

    But i do understand that it kind of Su**s that they will never have a EXc Prime - so i would be fine with something equal like bringing an 2. Excalibur with same stats as the Prime.

    But it should not be PS4 exclusive cause the problem of a missing Frame is the same for those PC players that showed up later (after founding was done)

    btw the founding stuff was available for a fair a long time. Just the PSN/XBox Tennos never had a chance. 

     

    May bring a "Sons of the Founders"-Programm with comparable but not the same stuff. The Steam ecklusiv skins are a good example. On the other Hand why want everyone something exclusive o.o

     

    I get that people want to have the "missing Frame" but this don´t need to be Exclusiv when they bringing an equal replacement

    atm the PSN (as well as Battlenet and Lol) are attacked by some Hackers (LizardSquad) so it´s down.

     

    I thought i put it down in the General section cause you can´t log-in with the PSN Account and there for not post it in PSN section.

     

    But some of the PSN members may look into the forum, so they know whats going on

    What counts under gear?

     

    Also weapons won't probably come ´cause this would effect the Market to much. 

    I mean Warframe is one of the rar fair free 2 Play Titel, giving the opportunity to trade Weapons lowers the reason to buy them from the Market.

     

    And if there ever be the day when they don´t make enough money, it could happen what does happen to often in other f2p Titel - they implement buyable advantage.

     

    Also resources would be fine. At least within the clan members

    Maybe a self answering Question - but Migration from PC also Include those Steam Accounts?

     

    I ask because my friend once used his existing "free"account to log-in on  Steam version on Warframe - from there on he can´t purchase plat the standard way only via Steam :/

     

    So there might be a difference in migration if you use steam instead of Standalone Warframer version?!

    Same here ;)

     

    I played in a Time when PS4 was no Word, especcialy migration (playing since 11 Month now)

     

    But i loved the News of a PS4 release, cause i prefer to play on console.

     

    also my PC is quit bad by now and i only have a Mac left. but thats my personal stuff.

     

    At the end of the day, i love war frame and prefer PS4, so since the migration is a thing im hyped, cause i can move my Full Stuff  (spend around 250 bucks)  to my PS4 version an can keep going with my progress.

     

    I do understand it takes time. But just give us some info now end then. I mean Rebeccas´s post is from 11 of Nov. and now real word since then.

    So, you want to donate all your PS4 resources to your clan and switch to playing your PC account only?

     

    Kind of - I want to donate all my resource/credits to my clan. ´cause when the Account migration is working my PS4 account will be overwritten by a Copie of my PC account. 

    That means all stuff i own on the PS4 right now will be lost.

     

    Therefor i would like to give all my stuff away bevor i migrate

    I'm just fearful that if I try to migrate my PC account to PS4, I would overwrite my progress made on PS4 and whatnot, wiping out the 195 platinum I've spent (okay, given via the PS Plus starter pack, but I did spend money on PS Plus at least.) I would just hope that if it came down to that, I would receive that platinum back...

     

     

    Your Plat will remain. So PS4 Plat stays but PC plat will not carry over.

    Can i fill-up the Vault by myself (Execpt Building a Room and destroy it afterward)

     

    Reason: i play on PS4 atm and as soon as i can copy my PC account i will use that one. So all the Stuff i collect in the meantime on PS4 i want to spend to my clan so it´s not complete useless to play on PS4 atm (at least for me)

    so at this point im getting impatient so I will wait till the 15th if we still cant migrate by then im going to start a new game on ps4. I will be very upset but nothing can be done otherwise, iv started writing down everything about my account, frames, mods, guns so I have a detailed journal of my entire account just in case. this way I can re-earn everything I have in half the time.

     

    I would do it the same way - Problem, i already spendet 300 bucks on my account so i don´t want to start all over again :/

    My PC is damaged so i can´t play it well anymore. Thats why i was happy about the migration. 

     

    I think they could hold of one update for some time. The rest of us would nearly notice that they really holding of instead of working on a solution some longer

    When your PS4 account is just for fun, why does it matter at all..

     

    Anyhow

     

    The Problem is, if we could switch all the Time of freaking 3 Times a Month. We could buy our Plat on PC buy all stuff on PC and Play in PS4. Sony got running costs ´cause of us using the Server and Service of Sony and they only get a pice of the PS4 Plat Pie. Thats why we can´t transfer the PC Plat to PS4.

    It´s like bringing your own cooked meal to a Restaurant. (same for cloning the stuff)

     

    I thing it´s not to much, to ask for 1 Platform to choose. im glad this is possible at all. Cause otherwise my hundreds of Bucks were useless when i swich to PS4 and i Prefer PS4. 

    Also you could easily abuse the system if you can switch back and force all time or even get on Item always on Both Plattforms.

     

    So just make a choice man it isn't that bad or Hard.

     

    PS: can´t wait for the migration!!!!

    Right, unfortunately DE haven't specified whether or not hotfixes will matter in terms of the 2 being in sync. I personally think they will matter, because hotfixes have small bits of stuff that aren't in the previous versions before it, so i'm not sure how they could be in sync simply by PS4 being on U11, and PC being on 11.1.3.

     

    Either way, I just really hope we get account migration soon, I can't tolerate the wait any damn longer :/ I put the game on hold back in September cuz I was waiting for the PS4 version to hit, and I just had a feeling they would let PC accounts transfer over, luckily I was right. Only it wasn't at launch to my disappointment and now i'm stuck waiting an extra half a month so far. HURRY UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPP!!!

     

     

    Hotfixes just have small changes within. For Example: Weapon A does 2% less Damage. That´s stuff that does´t matter for a sync. What matters is if you bought the Prime Ember and on the PS4 the full data of her are missing.

     

    So small stuff (mini Bugs) won´t matter for the sync 

     

    PS: I want it NOW :))))))))
