HP Pavilion - Massive Lag and won' load

So I'm running on an HP Pavilion, 8GB of Ram, I7, and an Nvidia Geforce 940MX with 4Gb. I just recently reinstalled a clean install of windows, and then reinstalled warframe, both through steam, and the launcher itself. In both cases I have recieved a massive amount of lag, not in playing it alone, but also in the loading screen taking almost five minutes to load into the game, and the log in screen taking almost 5 or more seconds to update things like my cursor position. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this? I have already set the Geforce as the driver to be used for graphics, downloaded geforce experience, and have the latest nvidia drivers. Thanks.
