How To Do 8+ Man Mission(Clan Raid) Without Hosting Problems? A Gameplay Type Suggestion.

Idea struck me during 22 min...

 

If we are doing diversion so team Alfa can raid...

How about that

 

Clan "Tactics General" deploys 3 teams. (each 4 man max, minimum 2)

 

Team Alfa

Team Bravo

Team Delta

 

Team Alfa Does diversion mission (survival).

Team Bravo goes for Raid(i know i know they getting rid of it) or capture mission.

Team Delta goes for Intel type mission...

 

Nothing new so far eh?

Now how about that...

 

Team B on their way (in raid /capture mission) can hack special terminals (by taking little detour, checking hidden rooms) and can give Team A (survival in progress) boost on Air... but this will cause alarm on section of ship that team D (intel guys) is currently trying to sneak by...

 

Easy choice? Now lets check it from different perspective.

 

Team D just aquired datamass, they can head to extraction, or take alternate route and get to terminals.

If they succeed on hacking, they can manipulate electronic locks for team Alpha (increased or decreased spawn rate) but by manipulating with locks they may cause team B some troubles with way back (locked doors->big detour)...

 

 

Now real trick lies in...

Comunication.

Only Tactics General, and cell leaders can communicate between each other.

 

Thats just plain idea written right after mission, everything could be balanced, more options of affecting parallel teams

can be invented..as well as rewards, integration of system n technicals..

 

 

TL:DR

Do missions like you used to do with clannies, but integrate some stuff that players already wanted:

More chat options,

more random/semi-random events during missions.

Relying on clan buddies (not on their acrid in wave 50+)

Accomplishing something big, being part of clan mission...

 

 

and now, cherry on top:

Not big problem with hosting, since each of these cells is hosted separately.

yet they are tied together.

 

So, what do you think, community?

A way to not make it lag:

 

Make it so that there isn't a host, as simple as that, let me explain. 

 

The conventional way to P2P connection isn't that efficient, specially in Warframe. What I suggest is to make all the players be the host and make each client host a certain amount of enemies depending on their connection. The player with the highest connection will host the doors and the dynamic map elements.

 

This way, the lag connection is used equally.

ts do you know what teamspeak is?

by this I meant comunication at terminals, affecting other group. How do you agree to that an notify others about that is up to u. Be it in-game chat, voicecomm or send them a text.

But ure right, I shoul have made myself clearer.
