My game stops responding when I enter the Uranus-Neptune junction

When I enter the Uranus-Neptune junction my game freezes (music keeps playing). I can play all other missions, no problem there. But I just cannot enter the junction. It counts down to 0 to the point the screen turns black. When the screen is almost black, it freezes. I know it freezes when it's almost black, because the blue flash of a mission's square was still on my screen.

What should I do?
