Problem with FPS

Hello, since a month now, i been having some trouble with the FPS, some days i can play normally 55-60fps and another days the FPS drops to 15-20, then usually when i restart the pc the problem goes away. But not this time, in the past few days my FPS dropped to 2, and they arent going back to normal state, this is happening in all the game, from the moment that I press the Play button. i tried Optimize the download cache, and didnt worked....
Maybe Reinstalling the game?

My microprocessor is AMD Phenom II X4 970 (Yeah, i know, its very old, but the game worked fine till a week ago)

8gb ddr3 Ram

GPU Asus GTX 960 4gb ggdr5

There might be a problem with your AMD Cpu. I had one too some years ago and i had the same problem you have there. It's simply that your Cpu is most likely throtteling down to safe your system from overheating. I don't actually know if theres a way to turn that off. 

But its just an assumption.
