I have big question for anyone who has wangled with the convoluted and time consuming process of designing dojo floorplans: What is the most efficient way to redesign a dojo?
What I Know:
I know that for some unfathomable reason I can't select multiple rooms to be destroyed at once. I can't simply move a room to another place. I can't, for example, destroy a T shaped connector to replace it with a cross if anything is actually connected to it. And I know that I'd have to rebuild all the rooms and redecorate as well.
What I Don't Know:
But what about energy and capacity costs? If I need to redesign my energy basement by removing a few reactors before expanding, will that mess with anything? If I destroy a hall, will the capacity limit change? Do I have to destroy things in a certain order like I had to build things in a certain order?
I apologize for all the questions, but dojo building the first time around was obnoxious and time consuming for me. If I do it again, I want to avoid making mistakes that will cost me hours upon hours of waiting time. I really wish there was a more intuitive way to put together your dojo.
