Cursor not moving to intended location

In options and in the display settings, when I move the cursor with the dpad to either brightness or contrast, pressing right towards the forward arrow to increase either setting moves the cursor upwards instead of to the right. 

Also, if I were to bring up options and only use the analog stick to move my cursor to options, display and then any settings, when I press A it doesn’t register. Only happens when I use analog stick to move cursor, not if I use dpad.
