Archwing in Vallis and POE

I guess you could say it motivated me to fix the issue, but it would have been nice if the game grouped players with like gear. Trying to level in Vallis has been a nightmare because one player in the squad had there archwing launcher and would rocket from point to point while the rest of us used our boards. This would usually lead to them initiating the next objective and getting overwhelmed before the rest of us could get there... Lot of failed quests that way. Last night I finally built my own launcher so I could at least have a shot... But given the order of opperation for Vallis there seems to be lots of new players who haven’t even done the archwing quest boarding around trying to keep up.
