Suzaku4489
...why are you using a shotgun? Why do you accept shotguns that fire cotton candy once a target is more than 15 yards away? http://www.everydaynodaysoff.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/How-A-Shotgun-Works-In-Video-Games.png Make no mistake, the Straith is a wrecking machine at close range, but I already have an Orthos to handle my point-blank game, with shotguns taking close-to-mid range, and secondary for mid-to-long. Enigma-Salad
wraith is like everything good about both in one though. freaking awesome I disagree with this. Strun have difficulty killing something on medium range while you can almost snipe with Sobek/Hek. It has different use than those two, only relevance they have is shotgun category. Its not a deal with how it should function, but rather, if you want to hit things at a distance, why choose the weapons that have damage drop off?Why not just... OGRIS? Silvershadow66
Which part? The lower damage, lower magazine capacity, or longer reload time? Using it. And Sobek has the advantage at medium ranges. One good thing about Warframe is that you don't have to use the "best" weapons at the higher levels of the game unless you are going for a specific challenge (such as wave 100 in ED). BigBadHunkyDaddy
Straith, unlike Sobek, made me switch from Hek. That should answer the question. Also Boar for the lulz.
ForceOfNaturE.
Sobek all the way. It shots faster / better at long range / semi-auto and it has more in the clip. SO whatever it lacs in dmg it makes up in everything else. Reload is a bit long but nothing you cans fix with Tactical Pump
Canyew
Semi auto means the gun needs you to pull the trigger in order to fire. Default sobek, albet firing slow is still a fully automatic becuase you can HOLD the trigger down to fire it. So once all those nice fire rate enahncments are in it, its like a shotgun shell spewing death machine
JusticeJack
lol Hek is a piece of garbage, that's why I didn't include it Swraith is special,so it's not fair to compare to other shotguns. Hek howere,is still VERY GOOD,especially better than sobek for ammo efficiency, reload speed AND range. At least try to sound cereal.
Jhakoon
yep, straith or sobek depends on what you like. the straith produces awesome numbers and is able to replace the 300 spartans without even bein forma'd. feels way overpowered. the sobek does less damage per shell but has a huge clip and turns into a gatling shrapnel cannon. i didn't compare them directly, but the straith slightly deals more destruction, while shooting with the sobek gives an evil grin on your face as its victims are shred to bloody slime. you could compare these shotguns to maybe the latron and braton. both are relatively equal; it is the weapon style that makes you prefer one over the other. RextintorZ
EMBRACE THE WRAITH SIDE! But yeah, Strun Wraith is better. Only use the Hek to get that level 30 and then let it sit in the closet. Forever.
